I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this rescue. We do foster for them and I've seen first hand how they go above and beyond for any dog in their care. They take every step to ensure all pups go to the most loving homes. As long as we are needed we will always be there right beside them to make sure each pup gets the loving home they deserve.

I joined this rescue as a volunteer after losing my dog last year. Being around others who care about pets helped me through the grieving process. I have fostered three dogs so far and adopted my newest family member through CAS. The organization takes animal welfare seriously and strives to be ethical and compassionate.

this is the worst rescue organization I have ever worked with. this past year they pulled a dog from the Trenton Animal Shelter claiming they had a foster home for her to go into; when in reality they did not. they were keeping her in a crate and medicating her to keep her there. I offered to foster her till they found another one and they refused my help, and then asked me not to contact them again. What kind of rescue group does that??? Also they have not updated their website in over a year and are claiming to be helping other Trenton shelter dogs, collecting donations for them.... but the dogs have been long gone!

Yvonne and Svetlana were wonderful in the adoption process. They are selfless in support of the animals in their care. The Greater Trenton area is fortunate to have this animal rescue resource available.

Wonderful organization of caring people that has saved many area dogs that would otherwise have been put to death.

Time to speak out. If you are looking to "rescue" please go to a reputable breeder. I "rescued" Two dogs from this organization. My first, Momma came to me with 8 tumors which they swore up and down were not cancer. After being very adamant about a second opinion it was discovered that they were in fact grade II mast cell tumors. I took financial responsibility for most of the dogs care even though I was promised the foundation would take care of it. The boy scouts of America raised over a thousand dollars shoveling snow which was supposed to benefit momma (which after a fight it ultimately did) and another dog with a slew of medical problems whom I rescued from this same group. Buddy, who unfortunately passed away after he was struck by a car as a result of fireworks and gunfire from our neighbors, never saw the 3000 dollars he was promised for much needed dental surgery. The fundraiser the boy scouts did was also supposed to benefit Buddy. Nobody knows where those funds went. Back to my other dog, Momma. Were I not a dog trainer by profession, this dog probably would have been (and should have been euthanized). She came with a laundry list of aggression problems which also were kept hush, hush. If this dog were placed in the wrong home, There's no telling what may have happened. Momma was certainly meant to come to me. With lots of love and hard work, she has overcome her aggression issues towards people, and has progressed very far with her dog aggression. She now happily lives with 2 pure bred American Staffordshire terrier puppies, from a good reputable breeder. If the president of this group is reading this, shame on you. Shame on you for how you treat your volunteers, and shame on you for lying to the public and putting people in danger. Not "every dog" can be saved. There are dogs that need to be put down and your egotistical philosophy of no kill is going to get somebody seriously injured or killed one day. Furthermore, shame on you for adopting a dog from down south when it is your own mission to "find every homeless dog in Bucks County a home". This organization is part of the problem, certainly not a solution. Don't you dare ever use my name, or my dogs stories to ever benefit you, or your foundation again.

There are no proper words to fully convey the level of gratitude and appreciation I have for Yvonne and all the society members. I rescued Bentley less than a year ago, and totally took for granted every day I had with him, thinking I had all the time in the world. Aside from heart worms that were being treated he always had clean bills of health from his regular vet checkups. Until the unexpected happened, he suddenly fell ill, and he was diagnosed with lymphoma. My family was devastated, our world fell apart, and we were scared beyond belief. Being as I had been out of work due to health issues and having difficulty making ends meet it felt like a hopeless situation. Until the one night not too long after his diagnosis that I received a phone call that would change our lives. Yvonne had attended a function with the woman who ran the rescue where we adopted Bentley, had heard his story, and offered help through their organization, the Boris and Natasha fund, and fundraisers, and would cover the bulk of the cost of his chemotherapy treatment. Yvonne got us an oncology apppointment almost right away, and Bentley has been in treatment and continues to fight under the care of a wonderful treatment team, and every day we have with him is a blessing made possible only because of Yvonne and the Crossings Animal Society. Thank you for saving our little family, and for the chance to love him as long we are blessed to have him.

This last year, 2018, I have volunteered in efforts to raise funds for CAS. This was the first time I have participated in any not for profit organization and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. My family and myself have been animal lovers for years and we have experienced the challenges that owning animals can bring. To have CAS and the Boris and Natasha fund has truly been a blessing. The passion demonstrated by the Director and fellow volunteers ignited something in me I never knew was part of my character. I lost my beautiful girl Kate recently and CAS was there every step of the way in assisting me in both financial and emotional support. I am proud to support such a wonderful organization and I suggest anyone who is a lover of animals to support CAS efforts.

CAS helped my brother and I when we took in a stray dog. Vet bills were paid and an amazing family was located who adopted "Barkley". CAS staff were responsive and their passion for helping animals is evident. I can't speak highly enough of this organization.

The Crossings Animal Society is a caring compassionate and dedicated animal rights organization that has done tremendously great work in the Bucks/Mercer county community it serves. From paying medical expenses for animals that would have otherwise died to ensuring that "unadoptable" animals found their forever home this is a top rate group that continues to do god's work in the animal rights community. Their leader, Yvonne Neiman is selfless and dedicated to the mission and cause of the society. I have witnessed first hand the results of Dr. Neiman's hard work and philanthropy and praise her and the other members of The Crossings Animal Society for all they have accomplished!

If you are attempting to get an animal re-homed or rescued look elsewhere. The lady on the phone has a poor attitude and for an organization that is supposed to be trying to rescue animals her behavior is shameful. Refused to put a listing up on the dog unless we guaranteed them we would hold it and not contact any other shelters or rescues while we had to continuing to care for the dog in our own household. She gave no time table on how long it would take. We kept the dog out of a kill shelter by taking it in from a friend of a friend but it was not getting along with our Australian Shepherd. Despite stressing this information, it made no difference. We will continue to work with rescue organizations that care and will put in the work to save animals when they aren't guaranteed a profit.

I have been feeding a stray cat for a few years and one day he came to my doorstep badly wounded. He had a fractured jaw, a neck wound, was infested with ticks and fleas and had been shot by a BB gun. I called the Crossings Animal Society and they agreed to help. They paid for his jaw surgery and other medical bills. He's a friendly cat and the Crossings Animal Society is currently looking to find him a home.

Not only do they care deeply about finding homes for all animals , they care about the people adopting them. It's a wonderful family to be a part of! We love our Buddy so much and consider CAS apart of our family!
