During our lunch break a Day Shift supervisor kept talking down about black people. While there was two young black highschool students working the summer program. I'll never forget his exact words were You need to lock your stuff up when there's black people around. SMH! Hey Ed shouldn't that saying be more like, lock your stuff up when your wife and daughter are around. Very pathetic work environment

Got a load of supplies there early, and staff at night pointed me in the right direction. The morning receiver was awesome. Knocked on my door, let me know what door to dock, was done in about 20 mins. Great place, great people.

I started working here August 2018 through Kelly services. My first day on the job other employees aside from 1 or 2 were extremely rude. Supervisors who you’d think you could turn to were even worse, first day being told to be faster, ok no big deal. Would pick up the pace and was still not enough even though I was sure I was moving quicker then long time employees. While being hounded orders line supervisors and those alike would be on their phones or obviously talking down on employees. Meetings before the shift are just as bad. It was right around the time of the 2018 company get togethers and they stayed 3-4 times per meeting while looking at the temps that IT IS FOR TARGETED PET TREAT EMPLOYEES ONLY NOT TEMPS. understandable but not so much that they had to point it out so much. The discussions between lines were insane. All racist and sexist content I couldn’t even believe it. Men are definitely favored even by the female supervisors and A packers. Unprofessional discussions with temps such as “you need this job” and “with a click of a button I could have you out of here”. This was all brushed off as ok tough on the new guys but it didn’t stop. Just about every supervisor in this place is crooked. Will try to get you into verbal confrontations to threaten your job. Some leaders even asked if I planned on losing weight because I was not put on the press floor because it was a concern that i “may not fit up the ladder”. I’m not that large. I did file a few complaints and then later on a “sensitivity course” was put into place. That made matters worse. I needed a job so I couldn’t give up. I was moved to weekend second shift to do quality hour checks on the presses. Where I did in fact run a press, funny how I suddenly “fit” up the ladder. I never did get hired on. At about 4 months as a temp and only calling off once for a car issue and leaving early once for an emergency my attendance was apparently too poor to be hired on. Makes however with less progress in the company and more attendance issues seemed to get hired ok. My attendance did get worse because every moment there was torture. Being on such a small shift I seen even more crooked behavior and learned more about what went on. Was informed how they were trying to fire me because they didn’t think I “belonged” there. I could seriously write a novel about everything wrong with this company and the way it treats select people but I’m honestly thankful to just be gone. My pride was too much to quit so I’m thankful I was fired, even tho I got fired on a call off with a doctors note because I was hospitalized and upon calling the office to try to discuss it they just had my temp agency call me.Final note, this may be a good place for some people but it was a terrible experience for me and some others I’ve spoke with. I would not recommend. I wasn’t going to write a review but people need to know. Met some nice people here but none worth the trauma I dealt with there.It’s a beautiful day NOT being at Targeted Pet Treats. 🌞-Fake QA

As far as entry level factory jobs in the Warren County area this place definitely does the best they can to treat their employees well. And as far as the product that is made here, the facility is cleaner than most human food facilities.

So I’ve worked here 2 summers and this summer I got fired from here for “talking” this place is run so poorly and is basically a prison camp, if you start talking or bringing in new ideas you won’t last long here. Also some of the treats they make here don’t even seem safe for dogs to eat some of the medicine in their bones actually will make your dog sick. The people who run this place love their drama too that’s for sure.

Amazing company to work for!! Everyone from entry level to upper management are treated as equals. Plus their starting wage is un-beatable in the area.
