Great company to do business with!I was very skeptical as I would normally NEVER buy something like this online. Dog food, sure. This was a stretch.I actually had an issue when the first set was delivered. The company and customer service people were super responsive, and we had excellent communication. They contacted the manufacturer immediately, resolved the issue, and everything was taken care of. In fact, I feel having them as an intermediary was a better situation than if I had to try and deal with a manufacturer directly. We are very happy with the doors, their look and quality.Now we can use our fireplace!Our house is old, and the flue is small by today's standards. Whenever we tried to use it, smoke would always back up into the house. Also, being in SC, it's never normally that cold out, so we get no natural updraft. Now, I keep the doors closed when lighting a fire and use the hidden bottom vents . Once it's going a bit, we partially open the doors, then after it's heated up and cooking, we can open the doors fully to really enjoy the fire!

Super Happy with my new doors. I have a very old fire box and didn't think anyone would have doors to fit it. Not only do my new doors fit they look amazing. It did take a little bit to install because of the tight fit. Would help to have an extra set of hands. Hardest part is choosing style and color options.

These doors are the icing on the cake! We just had our home renovated and removed the old stone face on the fireplace and replaced it with stack stone. We looked for a nice replacement set of doors, but since the fireplace was a pre-fabricated one, it was hard finding what we wanted. We called with our dimensions and were sent several options that same day.We placed our order and were told it could be 6 to 8 weeks. We were pleasantly surprised when the doors arrived less than a month after I ordered them!Installation was a breeze and the doors fit perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better company to do business with!

I ordered a custom air sealed door from Fireplace Doors Online to install in my stone fireplace and it is beautiful. Because the stone is so irregular I went with the inset mount. I sent the time to cut a template to be sure the square door would fit as I intended. After ordering online they called to go over the order making sure of everything. I waited for it to be fabricated and their time estimate was accurate. The fit was perfect and the installation was very easy. It is all mortared in now and looks great. See for yourself!

I looked all over for replacement doors for my old insert fireplace. I found someone locally that would make them but they wanted $1500+ for custom doors. I finally found fireplace doors online and contacted them. I ordered the doors and when I got them it took about an hour to install. They are perfect and are of very good quality. I'm glad I took the time to search. Oh yeah, the doors were $396+ with tax.

I talked to Jed multiple times and he was extremely helpful.My company, Bear Hand Fabrication (located in Fairhope, Alabama) built a steel frame for a customer and they wanted a black screen.It turned out beautiful.I don’t have pictures of it in just of when the build was complete.

We ordered a custom built door/door frame for our zero clearance fireplace. Compared to the many other 'buy-direct' companies that I researched and got quotes from, Fireplace Doors Online was by far the best. The other companies could not have cared less about my inquiries, whereas FDO was incredibly helpful in every interaction. Their prices were also hundreds less, the customer-service was great, and they had our order built/shipped on time. Plus, I like supporting a company from my home state of PA. I also appreciated the follow-up from their custom service team checking in to see how we liked the doors. The only area I think could have been improved was if a gasket/vapor seal could have been included for the inside of the frame, but this wasn't a big deal to do myself. I picked one up for $12 at HomeDepot. I would still rate this a 5 out of 5 star experience, and will absolutely be recommending/purchasing from FDO again.

Order came in earlier than expected. I had to adjust the doors in the frame a little to get them positioned right, but the total install only took about 30-45 minutes. They have a surprisingly hefty feel when opening and closing the doors considering how lean they are. They look and work great!

I tried to shop local but became frustrated with the process. I just wanted to replace my 35 year old screen with a more modern appearance befitting the renovations we have done to our house over the years. Fireplace Doors to the rescue! We found some appealing images on their site and after a few chat exchanges with Ana we came up with a plan. We measured correctly (OCD setting in to a sixteenth of an inch) and provided the make and model of our firebox. The order arrived in the expected timeframe and was packed perfectly. Instructions were provided and within an hour we installed the new doors ourselves, super easy and a perfect fit. The quality, fit and finish is exceptional. And by the way, we saved over $1500 over the local quote.

We absolutely LOVE our fireplace doors. They really updated the appearance of our fireplace, and it was so easy to install! It arrived quickly and as described. It is incredibly well made and everyone comments on the doors when they see them. The swing out screen doors are easy to use and keep embers from flying out of the fireplace. When we don’t have a fire, the doors seal the fireplace so we don’t lose the heat or cooling in the home. Would highly recommend these doors.Thank you so much!

Our existing wood burning fireplace was in dire need of a makeover with doors that didn't even fit it. Through a local fireplace supplier, we were referred to Fireplace Doors Online. They could have not made purchasing new doors with a new spark screen easier! I simply had to take pictures and email them along with our fireplace dimensions. I sought this out as I had a very unique fireplace measurement for a 100 year old house. I measured to the 1/16th and they custom built it for me while keeping it perfectly in my price range. I am absolutely in love with their work. The installation was very easy to do on my own. Ignore the zip tie holding the doors together, those are for my very rambunctious 3-year-old, who already tested pulling it out of the fireplace. It didn't budge! Would recommend. :)

Everything arrived on time and undamaged. It installed easily with our existing fireplace doors and blends in seamlessly. I love this model because you don't even know it's there and can operate with the glass doors open or closed. The heat it generates is better than expected. The only con is that the blower is loud and the noise is annoying both in tone and volume. I did not expect it to be so loud. The TV is mounted above the fireplace and the volume has to be turned up when the blower is on.

We had a great experience. It's nerve-wrecking to measure and order online but Fireplace Doors made it easy, had us send photos, and then confirmed our measurements. The door arrived as promised and earlier than expected, and perfectly fit. They took the guesswork out of the process and also followed up when I had questions. The new doors beautifully updated our fireplace - when we built (22 years ago) we had gold trim that looked dated. Now, we have a centerpiece that will serve us another 20 years!
