This is THE best place to grab all your meats, lunch meats, and cheeses. They have an awesome bacon lovers turkey breast that is outta this world. Some prices are even cheaper than a grocery store. I refuse to get my meats anywhere except Tompson's Meat Market in Slatington. You won't be disappointed.

Is a fantastic meat market. Everyone is so helpful. I was like a kid at a candy store. All their meats are fresh and good cuts. You have to try one of each of those beef sticks. Pineapple yes pineapple beef stick. I know what you might be thinking but get that out of your head and just order pineapple beef sticks. You know what, just order five of them. You'll be happy that you did. The Apple sausage and then the bacon & cheese sausage was like a mind blowing surreal mouth experience. My taste buds we're happy and dancing with joy. I personally did not enjoy their new England clam chowder. It was thick and almost bread like. Yeah bread like. But if you live far away I recommend bringing a cooler just stock up on all the good stuff.

They've set there own bar high when it comes to quality. Love everything about Thompsons. These chuck roasts are so tender every time. My last stew barely made it 2 days. Steaks, ground chuck, prime rib... all have been unbelievably perfect every time. ❤️

I honestly am so devastated to be writing this, I have been crying for the past 6 hours. I picked up some sausage links the other day, and I have kept them in the freezer since. I just cooked them earlier, as I'm eating I notice maggots start to crawl out of my food. It wasn't just one, or three, it was hundreds, every single link contained the maggots too. I am so angry, this is not okay.

This is an excellent deli. Theres a reason its so busy at certain times of the day. The prices are better than supermarkets, and the meat is fresher than supermarkets. They have sandwiches ready made for sale, and frozen items for quick meals that are restaurant quality. They do sandwich fundraisers for organizations also. Great shop.

Their meat quality is exceptional. Ground beef is delicious. Price is about the same as a grocery store. But the quality is far better. Also a selection of other small local products pierogies and such as well as a good selection of bulk Frozen products french fries and such a very good price worth the trip

Thompsons is great the employees are extremely professional and the quality of the meats is outstanding. They also have freshly made sausage, marinated steaks and porkchops for the grill. Their prices also beat giant which makes them the best place to get meat in the area.

Fabulous quality and price. Good selection of beef & pork cuts and custom made sausages. Plain and marinated chicken and turkey. Dried meat sticks, deli lunch meat and cheeses. Large selection of fresh and frozen sides to make a quick meal. Some grocery Staples and lots of cold drinks and hoagies for a quick lunch. They take cash, credit card and SNAP (food stamps) cards. No steps but the aisles may to a tight squeeze for a wheelchair. Staff are very willing to lend a helping hand.

Don't live in area but always make sure I stop by if they are open. Great deli buys. Prices lower priced then many larger stores saled price. Lots of great bulk frozen products to choose from, not found in most stores. Corn nuggets, Mac n chz bites, broccoli & cheddar bites, sweet potato cakes, chicken fingers, soups, frozen veggies, & lots more. Absolutely love this place!

Get back to basics. You will NOT find previously frozen water logged meats shrink wrapped on styrofoam that's been there for so long it has turned gray. You have the pick of the crop in just the quantity you need. The staff is friendly, courteous, and on the ball. Support this local small business and you won't be disappointed.
