lol this place is awful. Was waiting in line and then pulled up to window finally at 1:22 and I now realize lunch for them starts at 1:30-2. So as I sat there waiting for someone to talk to me and give me my kids prescription (takes less than a minute) I was left sitting there, just for the blinds to be pulled down. So apparently their lunch break is from around 1:15 - 2. At least on Mondays, will be switching!

New to the area , I thought we would try ! Big mistake ! Hugh mistake! Who ever the pharmacist was on 2/10 , should not be qualified to be a pharmacist . Would like to speak with Corp. Or owner something must be done immediately before he harms someone ! When I saw 2.3 rating out of 5. SHOCKED ! WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS RITE AIDE !

They're very slow filling scripts and always a long line inside and out for pharmacy. Would recommend using Weis instead.

Associates will make their best effort to help you with whatever you need. If you ask if they have something they're not going to say, "I don't know, check aisle 3." They are going to go to the aisle and look for you or walk with you, and if it's not there they're going to see if it's possibly somewhere else. The pharmacist and pharmacy staff are top notch.šŸ‘Œ They are always friendly and as helpful as can be. I've been sick for many years and Rite Aid has been there for me through it all. If I have a question about medication or need a refill all I have to do is call and they will gladly help me. If I don't have any refills they will send a request to my doctor. They offer many services that make my life so convenient such as; automatic refills, online medication management, Pay N Go on-line medication payment, medication delivery, drive through pharmacy. They also have a rewards card and an app that I save lots of money on items I use often. I've had a card with them I'd estimate 20 years. It not only saves me money on advertised items, I save 20 percent on Rite Aid brand products, which are already deeply discounted. It's a great deal! I highly recommend this store.

By far the worst pharmacy. The staff are typically unreliable, unfriendly and unprofessional. The male pharmacist needs to either retire, quit or get fired. He is one miserable man. Out of all the times Iā€™ve dealt with these goons, there was only one nice pharmacist (or technician). Iā€™m planning on changing pharmacies asap. Good luck to anyone who stays with this group of cruel people.

Great Store! The New Store Manager Frank is super Nice and Helpful! He used to be at Kmart before they closed. I liked Him there, and I Like Him here now! The Ladies that Work there are also Very Nice and Helpful! I wish all Store's had Good People that worked there, like they do here!

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Every time I come in the medicine is never ready and I always have issues. Today I went to pick up a prescription that my fiancĆ© really needed and of course it wasnā€™t ready so I waited. I understand they are busy but after a half hour I approached the pharmacist and he was extremely rude to me and then all of a sudden itā€™s ready. It was right next to him. So he finished the prescription and then just wanted me to continue waiting for no reason that is psychotic. I would have still been waiting another hour if I didnā€™t come up to ask about it. The pharmacist started to argue with me and thatā€™s not right, and extremely unprofessional. If he doesnā€™t care about people go to another profession buddy. I will never be coming back here for my family prescriptions. I used to work for a different rite aid for many years and I always made sure to put the people first because I actually care about others and it is not fun to be sick but the way that pharmacist was acting was very rude.

This is by far the WORST pharmacy ever! I consistently tried calling and it took an hour to get someone to answer the phone. I was told they were not filling prescriptions or answering calls, they were too busy. I said that's not my problem. The pharmacist replied "no one wants to work," and she sarcastically offered me a job. It's a good thing I work for a lawyer because in 2 days I'll be in withdrawal. I asked the pharmacist how she would like to be in the hospital in severe pain and the nurses decided they were too busy to give out pain medication. I live across the street, but I'll go elsewhere. It's a shame too because I gave the store a lot of business. I will never go into any Rite Aid anywhere again. At least a 20 minute wait whether you're in store or drive through. The worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They have attitudes, they're slow, they're unhelpful, they lie and they're unprofessional... The worst combination for a customer service/health care based job you could have. I can not believe how rude and unapologetic they are for their countless mistakes. I will never allow my insurance money to go to funding this place again.

The good. Staff is nice. Store is well organized and clean. The bad.. Typically they never pick up the pharmacy phone. The pharmacy is woefully understaffed. 7 people in line inside. 7 cars in the drive thru. I was next in line then the power went off. Back on in 30 seconds. Was told 15 minutes for a system reboot. I left at that point. The card reader asks too many questions. Maybe that slows the staff down. I am switching to Betchels in town.

It's always a pleasure to go to Rite aid for my pharmaceutical needs. It's always very smooth and the wait is never too long. KYRA was very helpful and our relationship is very helpful and her service is always a representation of her professionalism. You guys are the best.

The staff was nice. However I want to buy some bandages made in the USA. Not much luck with that so I tried looking for anything but China nope.Recommend to Rite Aid corporate please provide USA made options for all products sold. Then let people know you have both options Super Cheap and Quality. Something about buying products that need to be sterile and China that just doesnā€™t feel right.

Worst store ever. Filled a prescription and use the automated system to request pickup time only to show up and be told itā€™s not ready multiple times.Scheduled an appointment during the workday for a covid vaccination and filled out all paperwork online. Show up to my ā€œappointmentā€. And was told I need to wait in line behind standard pharmacy customers and fill out paperwork. Store staff is clueless. I asked why would someone go through all of the steps to make an appointment online if they are just told to wait behind walk in customers. Staff could not answer the question. What a waste of time, get your shut together Rite Aid.

DO NOT GO THERE! They have the rudist pharmacy staff ever. There is one lady there who is always smiling and happy. One day I mentioned to her how delightful she was compared to the rest of the miserable techs there. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves! Drive thru hasn't been open for the past 2 months. I'm done.......I just transferred everything to CVS in Schnecksville. Never again Rite Aid

Was good until took on Kmart pharmacy, terrible now. Called refill 830 am pick up ready by 1pm, 25 hours later still not done. No explanation other than backed up. Same with elderly gentleman in front of me, this is just ridiculous.Kmart took down sears and rite aid will be next.

I had a script called in two weeks ago by my doctor. I went in to pick it up yesterday because it was time to start the new script and was told it had not yet been filled and that it would be done in one hour. I went back this morning and was told my script was on back order and would be ready Monday by 5. They claim they called, but I had my phone on me and had no missed calls nor voicemails. I will be switching to a real and more professional pharmacy. This is the second time this has happened to me at this pharmacy.

I usually use this location until this week..I had a script called in on Monday. They said it wouldn't be ready until Weds. I stopped to pick it up on Fri and they informed me they still had to order it..and it wouldn't be ready until after 5pm tomorrow. No one called or messaged me not one time to inform me. This is a life sustaining med.. now I called the Palmerton location and they had it..very helpful there and offered to fill it for me there.

I have never had a problem at Rite aid all the employees are always nice when I enter the store. People have to also realize they are short staffed they do have a sign stating that. People have no patience anymore in Pa its rush rush .

The rite aid in walnut port told me the pharmacy closed at 9 over here in Palmerton and when I got there at 8:11 the place was closed the two workers went above and beyond to get my one year old son his ear infection medication and didnā€™t have to . I appreciate them for providing great customer service and care to my son . Thankyou jenna and Robert

I think they are understaffed, but I never had a rude person help me. The pharmacist I usually deal with is amazing. She goes above and beyond to help you and keep you informed. I guess I am lucky šŸ˜ƒ

Waited nearly 7 hours for a simple prescription. I originally took it in and was told to wait 3 hours then after going back 6 hours later I was told to wait another hour. Iā€™ve been dealing with poison ivy all over my face for the entirety of the day desperately waiting for my meds so my eyes donā€™t swell shut. This is crazy.

Total of 4 customers in store. Lady at counter did her inventory for 5 minutes while I waited at the counter. She completely ignored me until another person who worked there came behind the counter because by that time there were 3 people waiting behind me. Whatever happened to customers first. Aweful service at noon on Oct 2nd 2021.

Pharmacy did not call to communicate a prescription could not be filled. Pharmacy closes drive thru 15 minutes before posted time on the window -- they should update the hours if that is the case. Pharmacy techs & pharmacist both had attitudes here and very rude. This is worse than Walgreens in Florida. I will never step foot into this or any other Rite Aid in my life. We will be taking our business to another local pharmacy or will drive to Whitehall.Rite Aid: Our money spends ANYWHERE! :)

Consistently an issue, average wait time is about 45 minutes and the prescription is called in more than 24 hours in advance. Seven cars waiting in the drive trough as I write this review. What a joke

Really think the Walnutport area needs more durg stores. It could be not only for the best interest of the people in the area but profitable for other companies. I find problems in all aspects of the way the pharmacy conducts business. So if there would be other pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS it would be beneficial.

Awful experience The pharmacist Amy (she hang up on me before giving me her last name) was very rude and unprofessional with ā€œwhat are you going to do?ā€ Attitude. My doctor sent the e-prescription to that right aid pharmacy. Last month I got it some place else on the 8 th. Amy told me she wonā€™t fill my prescription till the 10 th. Every place else I could get a couple days earlier if I need it to travel for work Amy making me go with out med. for 2 extra days

They called me the night before to tell me I had no refills but the next day some how my phone number was disconnected no lazy and rude will never ever shopThere again!!! I work in customer service if I had the attitude they do I would be out of a job!!!
