The baked goods are amazing. My kids and I go every weekend for a treat. His donuts are delicious! Service is good. The only recommendation I have is that they had coffee, napkins and utensils readily available. They do have a few tables but if you do dine-in you have to ask them for anything you need. Sure doesn't stop us from going every weekend though!!! Highly recommend.

They barely made it into the house. Great donuts. We also had the cream filled cookie sandwich and cheesecake crumble? All of it tasty and the staff as nice as they can be at 6am with an indecisive customer. We will be back to try the pies.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this bakery. I've been twice so far. I've tried the cake bombs, the cookies, and the donuts. All were absolutely delicious. My husband said they are his new favorite Boston Cream donuts! I wish them well and will continue to patronize this local bakery!

Even if it’s out of the way, it’s well worth the drive!!!! Absolutely hands down the best of the best!!! Enormous and generously filled with all the donuts, muffins, pies, cannolis. Fruit pies don’t get any better. Apricot, cherry and PEACH!!! Something for everyone!!!!

Labels in case were wrong so some items were misleading. Also they had barely any donuts when I arrived, and I heard someone else complaining about how they never have any donuts. After I had picked out my donut, I got home only to realize they gave me the wrong one. I was so disappointed.

I was disappointed by my experience. The lemon curd is sooooo sweet. And I specifically asked if the carrot cake muffin had cream cheese frosting or buttercream and the guy at the counter said it was cream cheese. But it's definitely buttercream. I hate buttercream, and never would have bought it if he told me the correct information. Carrot cake screams for cream cheese! Come on. To me, it is all too sweet and tastes like it's from the store.

After all the good reviews, we were really disappointed. Awkward walking in. Very unwelcoming employees. No smiles. Need to work on better customer interactions. Its 10:45 and we ordered a coffee. They were out of coffee and had no grounds to make more. My daughters muffin was still raw in the middle. Boston cream donut lacked flavor. My 10 year old wouldn't even eat it. Cheese Danish flavor was more like butterscotch. I'm unimpressed by anyone's pictures of the donuts. The icing looks so messy and unappetizing.it's nice to support local business, but this one needs improvement. Just didn't live up to all the hype. Sorry. Hoping they can take the negative reviews and make the needed adjustments to be a great bakery.

I called on Friday to place an order for Saturday at 10. Sticky buns and half dozen donuts.I then found out I needed to go out of town first thing Saturday morning.I called the Bakery back, asked if it was possible to change my pickup time to 7am and to add an additional dozen donuts.Arrived on Saturday for 7am, had to wait a little for the freshest sticky buns hot out of the oven.Those sticks buns were the best we have ever had!And the dozen donuts we took to our friends were an absolute hit!Keep up the great work!I'm glad we don't live closer - we would gain too much weight eating all the great things you make.Can't wait to try Danish next!

The donuts are good but not exceptional for the price. The muffins are, unfortunately, downright dry. At $15 for 6 muffins, it was a waste of money! The real reason for such a low rating is I ordered a half a sheet cake for my father-in-laws surprise birthday party, about a month ahead of time. I asked if they could put a picture of him on the cake when I ordered it. They said yes, I would just need to bring them the picture at least a week in advance. I brought the picture in, weeks in advance. They wrote a note on the picture that it was for my order. I sent a friend to pick my cake up the day of the party, no picture on it. And no picture was sent home with the cake. It was a basic cake with some flowers and writing on it. Nothing special. I called, spoke to the owner, who was not very friendly. He had really no reason why the picture was not put on the cake. I asked where my picture was, he said somewhere in his office and I’d need to come back to pick it up. I stopped in a few days later to get it and was told there was some kind of miscommunication with the order. There was no miscommunication. It was an outright error on their end. And to top it off, the cake was over $100! I really wanted to support a local small business but unfortunately I doubt that I will again.

I bought a pumpkin cake in October, beautifully decorated beautiful,so the guy was looking for a box to fit finally found one wouldn't close,taped it didn't like that but I already paid for it so I let it slide.than I look at when I get home the hole stem was crushed on the cake he never said he did that and it was close to 30.00 Dollars that cake was soo DRY...IT WAS TERRIBLE.i was ashamed for my family to eat ..not only but ruined presentation.listen guys were not hard people to get along with up hear give us the quality we should be getting.i don't think people would be so upset about prices.worker told me they could move to Allentown or Bethlehem and things would be different,no they won't friend .please make a change before it's to late.

People, the excitement of a new place does not make it good. No one spoke to us. Five plus people working. Overpriced for quality is acceptable to me. For this? Discount rack, maybe. Tried an apple something. $8. In a small cake pan. Nope! Cake had no flavor & the canned filling used tasted like sweetners were added to make it "taste" homemade. Mush. Let me stop now & not tell you about the chocolate chip muffin. Well, only purchase if dunking in something with good flavor to help you swallow (dry) & cover the taste. I heard good things about the donuts, but none were available. Sorry. Best of luck & continue to enjoy if this is your quality level.

I'm betting all of the good reviews are from family and friends. Grocery store quality cakes and bakes. The bakery itself is like a rummage sale. It seems they only make a small amount of merchandise in the hopes of getting people to accept their RIDICULOUS prices. There is like 8 people standing around behind the counter with no merchandise and 6 hours to go before they supposedly closed. I went on a Friday at 12:30. Their hours were listed until 6P.M. The shelves were empty aside from a couple of trays of cookies and muffins. Purchased a muffin just to check the place out, honestly better muffins in plastic packages at Giant. Went to a friend's birthday party the next day and they had a cake from the Bakery. It was awful. The icing tasted like they used lard instead of butter. NO ONE ate the cake. I'd skip it

I bought my sister a Birthday cake with whipped cream and fresh Strawberries. If there were 2 whole Strawberries in the filling, I would be lucky. The cake was not anything great, as a baker myself, I should have made my own. I won't be going back and browsed around the bakery, very overpriced..

We stopped in on a whim on the way home to Bethlehem. Well the donuts we purchased were excellent! The Boston Crème was the best I ever had. My husband loves apple fritters and having both glazed and sugar coated satisfied him! We will definitely stop here again and we were glad we did today. ❤️

Lemon crumb cake is awesome. The donuts are amazing. Jelly donuts are full of jelly. Not like a franchise where it takes 3 bites to find the filling. These donuts are completely filled. If you’re not local travel. It’s worth it.

I’ve been buying baked goods from Ben the last few years when he worked at a different bakery. Everything is delicious. His new place is very clean and has everything you need. I would suggest the crumb cakes and hummingbird muffins or a cake. They are 2 of my favorites, but everything is AWESOME!!!!

The icing on the donuts always looks like a toddler smeared it on or someone dropped it, I've heard the icing is from a bucket just like Weis where he used to work so it's not even homemade, and they block anyone on their Facebook that doesn't say great things about their bakery. Seems like false advertising if your not allowing criticism unless it's positive. Ive also heard They're declining all comments on any posts that don't say positive things. Seems like they want the community to think they're a perfect bakery with the best baked goods but don't allow anyone to state the bad things.

I was so excited to try this place. We got there around 10am on a Sunday to find mostly donuts. There were hardly any options. We decided to get 2 cannolis.I tried mine in the car and the shell was extremely soft and the filling was oddly thick with no chocolate chips. They put rainbow sprinkles on the ends of the cannoli too which gave my initial bite a weird waxy taste from the sprinkles.I suggest they fill the shells by order, rather than leaving them filled on the shelf, so they don’t get soft.By no means, am I trying to hurt a small business by leaving this review. However, I honestly suggest going to the bakeries inside the Slatington Farmers Market or Egypt Star.

Very poor quality baked goods. Very little on the shelves to choose from at 11:00 AM when they were supposed to be open until 6:00. The whole appearance is offputtng a ton of people standing behind the counter all the shelves empty. Very unkempt. Bought 4 donuts because that was basically all they had. They tasted awful wound up tossing them.

Stopped by to see what all the hype was about the donuts at Baker Bens. Well, they are fantastic! Soft, tasty, and just oh my delicious!! Great to have you around!! If you have tried them yet, GO! Don’t walk, run because they will be sold out if you do.

Not the homemade bakery we were hoping for. A lot of store bought run of the mill stuff. We bought a large variety of their stuff and none of it was good. Pass on this one. They have the capability of being great but fall short. Hope things improve.
