My wife was referred here by some of her friends. We brought over several carpets that we had stored in our basement that turned out to have active moth infestation. We were instructed to leave the carpets outside and they would deal with them. We got very honest feedback at this point but decided to go ahead with the repairs since there was some sentimental attachment to these rugs. We anticipated the worst but at the end of the day the carpets were treated, cleaned and repaired better than expected. Really happy with the results and definitely felt like we were treated like family.

Kazanjian did a wonderful job with a giant 1930s Sarouk rug that I rescued from the street (can you believe it?). It was dirty and had some mold, but they washed and cleaned it beautifully and recast one of the edges that was damaged. They were professional, prompt, and were genuinely excited by the project! This firm did a fine job cleaning and restoring an antique sarouk I had that was much in need of TLC. The repairs were so subtly done as to be invisible, the much-needed refringing is particularly fine, merging perfectly with the rug's edge. One would never guess that the fringe had been reworked or replaced; the texture is consistent with the rug's surviving fringe and overall character. A plus - the rug is softer and more supple/flexible than it was before the care was provided...as if it had visited a spa!I could not be more pleased or impressed.Services: Pet stain & odor removal, Area rug cleaning

Last May, Kazanjian did an extraordinary job cleaning, deep washing, moth treating, and repairing six (6) Oriental rugs. They look new - in fact I almost didn't recognize them. The owner is terrific, fair, and honest. I highly recommend them. Now a client needs a rug cleaned so I am having Kazanjian do it.

I bought a heavily soiled oriental rug for $50 in hopes to get it cleaned up so I could use it in my apartment. Azad was super transparent in pricing and even picked and dropped off the rug at my apartment for free! He kept me updated throughout the process, and was flexible with my schedule. I had a 7'10" x 2'6" Persian rug runner with dog damage from an accident in one corner and a bad attempt with the wrong cleaning chemicals over that which did even more damage because that made the red dye run. Almost given up for trash I called Kazanjian and got a guesstimate over the phone and took it there wet, reeking of chemicals and with two of the edges curling under. Two weeks later I picked it up and WOW WOW WOW! I don't know how they did it but it looks like new! They even managed to get the "bleeding" out. The estimate was really good too and they stuck with it.Also they were fixing an oriental rug there that had moth damage and the owner advised me on how to help alleviate that in my home. What nice people and so knowledgeable too.If you're like me and have sat at that red light on Lancaster Ave. many times (right past Villanova U. going west before getting to the Blue Route) and wondered what goes on in the Kazanjian store, I can now tell you. They are selling, cleaning or restoring rugs and making their customers VERY happy! I will never go anywhere else for anything to do with oriental rugs!
