Have been coming here routinely especially on Saturdays and Tuesday’s ( IYKYK lol ) since I moved to Oakmont 2 years ago. Out of the 2 years I maybe brought my kids 2x. Well today for the start of Autism Awareness month ( they are BOTH autistic and awesome ) and the last day of spring break I decided to treat my boys to all the toys they wanted and of course do some shopping for household items.. despite just getting off work at 7am as a nurse who is also very much 8 months pregnant !!! Well while shopping a blonde store associate w/ a ton of piercings, very skinny .. kind of look like she does drugs started verbally assaulting me and berating me because out of all the toys I put ONE back ( not in the place he found it ) .. ONE TOY! Telling me to control my kids.. when I said sorry “ I’m a pregnant and they are autistic “ to deescalate the situation, she said she doesn’t care.. she knows a child whom is autistic etc etc… BTW they weren’t making a mess.. they weren’t knocking things over.. yes , a little excited but that’s it.. so I was first very shocked and yes very insulted which then turned into a huge VERBAL altercation and I decided to just leave ( was never asked to ) because why was she watching us like a hawk in the first place ? Like we were going to steal? Why did she thinks it’s ok to treat customers that way over ONE TOY not being put back in the proper place. I already called cooperate and will continue to do so because she was absolutely out of line and unprofessional. She also tried to snatch a toy out of my youngest hands.. while we were trying to leave.. then followed me to my car to take down my license plate like I assaulted her. When she insulted me and my children , like I get it… it doesn’t take a skill set or really an education background for her job description.. but you should be able to have some sort of good customer service skills.. at least I would think..

The employees are always very friendly and helpful. The store isn’t as well stocked as others nearby especially with soda. The store is also clean and well lit though sometimes a bit disorganized.

The website says they're open until 10 o'clock on Saturdays..I pulled up at 9:40 & the doors were locked..I only needed to grab one thing & I would have been in & out in a minute, but the doors were locked & the employees inside said they were closed & that they close early all the time which means they must pick & choose bc the last time I was there was on a Saturday, 2 Saturdays ago at the same time, I had no issues...I told them it says 10pm and open on the website, but they wouldn't let me in & dismissed me & walked away...If they're going to close early whenever they choose, then they need to change the hours on the website...I wasn't there to waste time or buy a bunch of stuff..I fell asleep & woke up realizing that I needed cold & flu medicine & I specifically looked up the hours bc that store is less than a minute drive from my house...I'm seriously upset bc I really needed the medicine as I was not feeling well all day, had a fever & fell asleep only to wake up right in time to grab medicine for the night....I'm not shopping there anymore.... there's literally 4 dollar generals within 5-7 minutes away from me, this one though was the closest to me... This experience really wasn't cool & I'm calling corporate in the morning..

Checked online for the hours and it said open till 10pm every day, same thing on the door.We arrived here at 9:45pm and found the doors locked.We saw an employee sweeping inside who made eye contact with us and simply walked away.Only giving 2 stars because at least they clean the store!

They have the isles cluttered with merchandise, boxes and carts. It's like moving through a maze and I spent half my time picking up stuff I knocked over because how tight they have it...

Found the sale item I was looking for (not always in stock when I go). Employees were upbeat and efficient. Store was messy though.
