First grooming visit and we’re highly impressed! We got the Spaw day package which included nail grinding, tooth brushing, and a “blueberry facial”, on top of a bath that left them smelling like oatmeal cookies 😍 Two happy dogs!Tinker hates having her nails cut and I’m glad we found a place that would do it with more kindness than our vet!

Absolutely love the groomers at Sandy Hill! I have two Saint Bernards that are quite large and they do a wonderful job managing them and giving them a beautiful spa day. I was able to buy the girls an adorable treat when checking out. They loved it.

Dash is 15. Sandy Hill has been his second home for 14 years. I feel confident leaving him and he’s excited to get in to see his friends. He always needs a nap when he gets home. Staff is friendly and efficient - groomers are excellent, too. Highly recommend!

Grace is the groomer we had and she is excellent! Shiloh (sheltie) hadn't been there for a while and even though we brush him every week and do his nails and etc. he just did not look as good. His hair was thick and course. When Grace got him groomed he was a very happy dog. He felt so much better and looked beautiful. I've have been coming here for years and never been disappointed.

Charlie loves his stay with the staff and all the dogs. I've been a customer for many years. The kennel and staff are wonderful. Years ago, I had to put down my basset hound Wellington. The staff was there with loving support. Sandy Hill is family.

Champ is a rescue dog and the staff doesn't mind his quirks. We've been going so long they all love him and he's comfortable with them which makes us comfortable leaving him there. He gets so much attention we tell him he's going to the spa!!

Highly recommend if you are looking to board your pet or are looking for grooming service. We have used them for years and we have never been disappointed, and our pet is always happy and well taken care of when he pick him up.

We have been using Sandy Hill Kennel for years. We have always felt comfortable leaving our loved dogs there. They have been exceptionally caring for our current dog who is not dog friendly and has some recent health issues. They know her and work to keep her separate from others. We appreciate their care and would recommend them to all.

This was our Rugers first time boarding with SH and to say the least he was very well taken care of. He got a stomach ache while staying and they immediately reached out to me and with my permission switched him to a bland diet w rice. He was happy and seemed to like the staff! I would def recommend for big dogs ! The staff are friendly and trustworthy. It was a wonderful first impression for us.

We have had nothing but great experiences with Sandy Hill! Our two dogs board here when we are out of town and are always so well taken care of. They share a kennel and get to play with each other throughout the day. They are safe and comfortable when they stay and the staff is so wonderful. The check in and out process is easy. We would always recommend!!

Sandy Hill has been very good to us over the past 8 years. We had a fear aggressive German Shepherd and they went above and beyond to accommodate his personality and made sure he was safe and at ease everytime he had to stay there. He was never upset about being dropped off and he was a dog who liked very few humans, so I know they treated him well. With his passing, we now have a new pup and she feels right at home at Sandy Hill, too. We have her groomed there regularly and to say she loves Christine would be an understatement. From my dogs' reactions I believe the staff at Sandy Hill does a great job.

Every time we visit Sandy Hill Kennels wether for grooming or boarding the dogs are so happy to be there. The groomers do a wonderful job as it can be hard to tame the fur of two fluffy Pomchis, but they come out looking and smelling fantastic. Every staff member is kind a courteous and we love getting report cards on the dog’s visit. I couldn’t recommend this facility and staff more highly.

Very happy with my dog Hank’s first boarding. He needs four different meds each day and is a senior dog. I could tell that he had been very well taken care of. We will definitely board Hank here again.

We boarded our dog here for a few days while we were on vacation. They were very nice and friendly, and put us at ease right away. It was clean and all the animals seemed pretty happy. She had a great time and we didn’t worry once. I’d totally recommend them!

This was our first experience boarding. It was a decision not easily made but there was no other choice. We were gone one week. Jax, a nervous boy rescued one year ago, was treated like royalty, had a spa day, and came home excited to show us his newly acquired skill of playing ball! We will be using Sandy Hill Kennels for all our future trips! The price is higher than most but they are the only kennel that agreed to take him on short notice and keep him in case that out trip was extended! “Just call us!”When I arrived to drop him off, several employees were walking dogs down the lane. Inside the greeting area was spotless and the staff were very friendly!I am relieved to know that I have a place for him in an emergency or for a future trip!We called several places in the Butler area and Sandy Hill was the only one agreeable to meeting ALL our needs!Jax came home with a report card which addressed every question we could have asked about his stay!

I've used this kennel twice. The staff is exceptionally friendly, from the front office to the kennel area is meticulously clean. I went on vacation knowing my dog was in good hands. Would definitely recommend.

When I have to board my dog I feel terrible, because I know we’ll miss one another terribly. During the past year I’ve used Sandy Hill Kennels on several occasions for varying durations. While he’s being boarded I feel very comfortable that Sandy Hill was everything that everyone said about the place. I can tell when I pick him up that he got his run time, the morning and afternoon walks I requested, fed, given his treats and his toys. The staff is fantastic, the place is clean, they’re as advertised and I don’t have to worry if he is “ok.” Therefore I highly recommend Sandy Hill Kennels! Oh yea one other thing, they have a really really good groomer on site and she always has him bathed and de-shedded to a high standard.

I have to start out by saying that I am so happy that Sandy Hill Kennels exists. We have taken my family dog, Jackson to board and to be groomed here for the last 14 years and they have been fantastic.Apologies if this is a long post, but it is well deserved! Today, I want to express my gratitude to them for my dog, Horton. Horton is a 1.5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog who has some separation anxiety. He boarded with SHK last September and did fantastic and I took him back on Sunday to be groomed. When I called to make my grooming appointment, I asked to speak with the master groomer, Jolette. I was in the process of 'interviewing' groomers because of Horton's anxiety and his last 2 grooming experiences at other facilities did not go as they were intended. When I spoke to Jolette, I explained what had happened and asked if she would be willing to work with him if he would get anxious or if she needed to stop to calm him down or administer medication. I didn't want her to get frustrated if he got anxious and acted out because of it. She listened perfectly to my concerns and said that she truly enjoys working with dogs for them to become more comfortable with the bath. When I dropped him off, he went right up to Jolette to greet her which I knew was a good sign. I spoke to her in person briefly and she took him back to start their adventure! Upon picking him up, she came out to greet me and said he did fantastic! She said that he didn't act on any of the things that I originally described to her that happened at the other facilities and told me he was a gem. My heart sank out of pure joy. I was so relieved that he did great and that she had fun grooming him! She finally brought him out and oh my, my baby boy is SOOOOO HANDSOME! He smells great, he looks great, and he is sooo soft!I am so, so grateful that Jolette listened to my concerns and worked with my baby to make sure he felt safe and comfortable. I am 100% coming back to Jolette for all of his grooming needs and I can't wait for her to build an even better relationship with Horton after each visit!Go get your dog groomed at Sandy Hill Kennels! You will not be disappointed!

The girls were very happy when they came home. My aussie was a pampered pet--washed, brushed, and nails trimmed and rounded off. She looks so beautiful. My little girl also smelled clean and also had a spa day getting pampered. Thank you so much for treating them so well

Sandy Hill always does a great job with Ruby while we vacation. Ruby loves the play time and all the attention. We tell her she is going to Puppy Camp and she gets excited. I would not take Rube anywhere else!

Hank, the Pomeranian had three bouts of diarrhea after I picked him up, wondering if that was not reported by the staff to let me aware if he had this problem while he was there. The stool is watery and very mustardy in color. Was this an ongoing problem through the week? makes me very concerned if it was not reported. the one young lady that checked me out, said that he had moved his bowel more than twice in his cage not so concerned if it was formed stool or was he having diarrhea? Not sure the food agreed with him……
