I really enjoyed being able to see our dog everyday on the video camera. We also enjoyed the pictures, videos and messages sent everyday of our dog playing and having a great time.He was taken very good care of and he was happy when we picked him up after being there for a week.I felt very comfortable leaving him there with all of the security and safety precautions that they have.I will definitely use their services in the future. This was our first time taking our dog to a boarding kennel & I have nothing but FABULOUS things to say about it here!!!! Excellent care & service in all aspects.The facility is very, very neat & clean. A huge selection of activities to choose from if desired.They were exceptionally friendly, caring, affectionate, observant, communicative & extremely accommodating & organized. I would never go elsewhere. We were extremely satisfied.Definitely would recommend Ruffin Around to everybody.They took the most wonderful care of our fur baby!! All hard workers there! We appreciated every one of them.You can well be assured your pet is in the best hands while you’re away! It’s like a vacation for them as well!!🙏🏼💗🐶

We love Ruffin’ Around! Our pup Lando has been a weekly attendee at daycare for over two years, and he has also stayed overnight. He began as a Muttessori student, where we loved getting daily report cards on his progress. He graduated to the daycare group, and it is a joy to see how tired he is at the end of the day, and to see photos of him playing with his friends. They offer so many activities to create fun and engaging experiences for the pups in a safe and clean environment. We especially enjoy the birthday and Halloween parties. We are very lucky to have a facility nearby that cares so much for each and every pet that comes through the doors. We wouldn’t take Lando anywhere else.

Meghan did an outstanding job with Miles, our Cockapoo. I provided a photo, and she followed it to a tee. Miles loves people, but isn't wild about grooming. He's free of matted spots, smells great, and showed no signs of trauma. He feels handsome. ❤️

Even though Reba had a lot of matting and had to have a shorter cut on her face🙁, she now looks adorable!! Staff was very attentive and thorough in answering questions.

Our Rigatoni loves this facility!! They truly care about each animal! We appreciate how well treated our dog is while we are away, it certainly relieves any nervousness felt leaving him! We have already used them twice and plan on using them in the future!

After leaving our home state of Montana and moving east to PA, not boarding our dogs for two years, our vet recommended this place to us and we are in love. The staff are extremely professional with a heart of gold filled with care for us and our pups. I called randomly to check on them and was greeted with kindness each time and our dogs were with people that love animals and we felt very secure and comfortable having them here. We found our place!Thank you so much 💙

My dogs were treated with the best care. They came home bathed and happy! I know just used them for Christmas time because my usual kennel was booked, but I will be taking them back to Ruffin Around Resort next time I need to kennel, even though my usual place was only 10 minutes away! I’ve got to drive 30 minutes, but we’ll worth the drive!!

Very kind staff. We forgot our drop off time and showed up way too early but they still went out of their way to help out even though they weren’t obligated to. Our dog LuLu is a very nervous dog but they did a good job at warming her up at first. We will be back again!

I can always feel at ease when my Mila goes “ Ruffin’ !! Besides playing with her canine friends the staff always provides many activities for them . I also credit them for helping us to train Mila when she was in the puppy stage !! ❤️

The owner of this business is unscrupulously attempting to destroy the local non-profit no-kill animal shelter. She is the president of the Board of Directors and is firing loyal employees and kicking out fantastic volunteers. If she is showing such a lack of empathy toward the homeless animals in the care of this shelter, imagine how she will allow her employees to tear your beloved animals. I'd avoid!

Amazing staff! We were able to squeeze in a last minute reservation and everyone was so helpful and kind. We received a complimentary video of our pups playing outside along with a post card from them! It was super sweet!! The kennels were very clean and destination themed which I thought was very cute

The staff took such amazing care of our dogs while we traveled. This was our first time boarding our dogs, and we would not consider taking them anywhere else the next time. Our dogs were so well taken care of, and the staff was extremely responsive to every question we had. Splurge for the daily photos, it’s so fun to see what they’re up to every day.

When we first dropped our boys off we were the only ones there. They asked questions and we went over activity details. It was very organized. We had to pick them up earlier than expected and it was not a problem. When we picked them up, again we were the only ones there. It is so organized and saves on confusion. We got all of our items back and they were all clean. The staff was so nice. They gave us a report of how good the boys did. I would highly recommend for your fur baby. Friendly staff, clean and very well organized.

Charlie, our year old nervous lab, enjoyed her first time away from home spending the day at Ruffin Around Resort & Day Spa, to prepare her for upcoming vacation. What an awesome place for pets! Beautiful, spacious, clean and offers lots of pet services. But, even better ....the owner and her staff!! They are super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and love animals. It is so reassuring to know Charlie will be well cared for and have a lot of fun!

I had two older dogs that were never boarded and not very social at all. The people here handled them with patience and hard work. Although we will have to find an alternative to boarding, I would highly recommend Ruffin' Around Resort and Day Spa. They were very professional and kind.

I love this place and I can't rate it highly enough! I have GAD and my cat helps me sleep at night, so needless to say she's very important to me. The staff treated her very well and were very accommodating to my issues about leaving her for so long. The room was spacious with lots of window and climbing space, and the staff went above and beyond to make her stay not only comfortable, but my cat was VERY happy and sweet to see me up on return. Normally, she gets agitated after only a few days apart from me! Any pet left here is left in caring, capable hands! I will definitely be recommending this place to any one with cats or dogs alike. Thanks Ruffin Around for making this cat momma feel at ease!!

It was our first time boarding our 1.5 yo Havi Mr Milo Oliver. I was experiencing separation anxiety many weeks prior. Then I came across this resort. From the first phone conversation, I could tell I got lucky to find them. I went on to speak to two other staff members prior to check in day. All 3 staff were absolutely sweet, professional, accommodating, empathetic...It was difficult to leave him but I knew he was in the best hands. I got daily updates with pictures, it helped so much.While there, Milo got groomed. I'm going to tell you: I will never take him anywhere else!The facility looks great, the fenced yard, all surroundings and inside very clean.They follow CDC guidelines, which I really appreciated (mask, distance, etc)Payment/Bill is broken down so you don't have to pay at once.In conclusion, if you need boarding or any pet services, give them a call right now, look no further 😀

I highly recommend Ruffin' Around for overnight extended stays. I went away for 2 weeks and my dog adjusted very well to the activities and accommodations at this quite amazing resort for dogs! My favorite highlight was receiving a text and a picture of my dog each day I was away. The staff is very serious about your pet's comfort and safety. My mind was at ease knowing that she was in good hands. There is a menu of extracurricular activities that your dog can take part in for an extra fee that they tell you about up front. I thought she might not like being away from her home environment, but it turns out that she thrived and (almost) didn't want to leave when I picked her up!

Our Pomeranian has vacationed with Ruffin Around twice. They are outstanding! She enjoyed her trip both times, staying in the Mediterranean and on the French Riviera. The staff is very attentive to our pup, taking wonderful care of her as well as sending us "postcards" every day. Our only issue is the timing of pickup.

I take my dog here very often when I go out of town for work. As soon as he sees that I’m packing his bag he gets so excited because he knows where he’s going! He loves all of his girls at Ruffin Around! The whole staff is absolutely amazing and I feel very at ease leaving him there. They take care of him like he’s one of their own and I can’t thank them enough!!!! Highly recommend Ruffin Around!!!

I was scared because my dog is older and has never been boarded before. The ladies were so nice. She enjoyed her vacation in Italy. They took great care of her. She enjoyed coddles. They said she was good and there were no issues.

We’ve taken our bernadoodle Jack to 2 different groomers who didn’t take care of Jack the way Ruffin’ Around did. They trimmed him up in the needed areas and made him look amazing. I like how the staff interacts with you and gives you notes on your dog as far as behaviors or anything found. Highly recommend to anyone needing their baby pampered.

EDIT—— to this post. I’m going to leave the original up for the purpose of backstory. While also demonstrating an example of their professionalism and quality care to their clients. So, I suggest reading the post below first, then come back to this. There was a miscommunication when I called the spa. I was very upset when Courtney told me that my dog had to be neutered in order to receive grooming services there. I had mentioned my wedding day coming up, and Miss Courtney thought I was referring to boarding my dog there. That is why she stated he had to be neutered. You will see in my original post, I thought very highly of this organization up until this incident, which is why I am leaving the original up. Shortly after our call, Lori (manager? Owner? I wasn’t exactly sure) had called me. She let me know that Courtney thought I was referring to boarding my dog. This was also due to the fact that currently, they do not have a groomer, so boarding is all the currently offer (hopefully that won’t be much longer, and they get a new groomer! If you’re looking for a job, give them a call!) everywhere is short staffed 😕) but, this is just another example of what I was referring to in my original post, demonstrating how they have truly always treated me well as a customer. She did not have to call me from home, late in the evening, just to clarify and apologize for the mix up, but she did. To me, that speaks volumes. So, Cortney and Lori, I also apologize for the mix up. However, I am happy I wrote the review, that it was seen, and that gave the ability to rectify the situation. I can’t wait until you are fully staffed again, and we can bring our fur baby back. (It’s unbelievable how fast the review was read, and I was contacted.) thanks again, Ruffin Around, for reaching out.I am extremely upset with what just happened with this spa. First of all, I’m pretty certain I wrote a previous rating stating how wonderful they are. They have always worked with us, got us in quickly, and even gave me a discount when they had to cancel my appointment last minute one day after I had taken off of work and was on my way there. Well, today I called to book an appointment, because my wedding is coming up in a few days. He is almost 3 years old, and we have been taking him there since he was about 6-8 months. Today, Courtney answered the phone, and she tells me that they do not accept dogs who have not been neutered if they are older than 6 months…. I have taken my dog there multiple times, and he was older than 6 months for every visit. Never, not once, have they mentioned to me that he needed to be neutered… Every-time we go there he gets the full package: cut, bath, spa, mud bath, the whole nine. Last time I went, I almost missed my appointment, and they still took us! I was so incredibly grateful, I tipped her almost the same amount as my total was…. Because I was extremely grateful. My point is, we have been in contact with them multiple times, and this has never been mentioned not once, very unprofessional. They do a great job here, but something like this is simply unacceptable. Unfortunately again, I was simply too upset to “get into it with her” asking why they had never mentioned this and why they had continually taken him as a client until today. Needless to say, it truly is unfortunate, because they have always treated my boy well. To drop that bomb 6 days before my wedding is an extreme disappointment, and I simply could not go without mentioning this to the community. (Also, I’m not even a Karen who complains about stupid things, especially on social media. But, this wasn’t cool) 😕
