They have a wide variety of everyday household items, food, decor, pet needs and a little bit of auto stuff..lots of outdoor summer picnic things and toys and yard tools and decor and the prices are good. But.Check your receipt..I've found a coupla mistakes and I was charged more than the in-store shelf price.And just a heads up...it's kinda messy and I experience sensory Overload!

Love the stuff they have there. A lot of nice things outside for summer. They are so cute and they are like 4 or 5 bucks because they are trying to get rid of summer things.

There is a really awesome cashier there. I have no idea what his name is, but he is an older gentleman and he has an amazing personality. He engages with everyone who comes into the store and after a long day at work it is quite welcoming.

The staff is always nice and friendly. I'm only giving them 3 stars because a lot of the time the store is disorganized and sometimes it's hard to find things. I know they recently underwent renovations and moved things around but the store was always cluttered before the renovations took place.

There are 2 Isles that was a complete disaster unorganized stuff just tosted any where! The facing on the end caps looked good. The manager on duty needs to come out and help the in front at the register when there are busy!

The Hopwood Pennsylvania Dollar General is the cleanest Dollar General I have seen around my area in a good while! I was so surprised I had to tell the clerk & store manager. I've been going into these stores around my area looking for something and haven't been able to find it on the shelves but there are boxes every where in every aisle. I wouldn't of began to know where to look in those boxes & it wasn't my responsibility to. Keep up the great work Hopwood Dollar General!!

I Absolutely LOVE this store and I Had given it 5 stars before, but today I went in, like I do Every Single Time I go in there,(for the past 5 and 1/2 years) I have an Emotional Support Animal that is a parrot that is Extremely well-behaved, and the manager yelled VERY Loudly and Rudely, " You CAN'T have THAT in here!" But was not looking at me, so I stood there, and she then called for an employee and yelled at the employee saying, "Tell her she can't be in here with THAT!" And Still would NOT look at me! As she was yelling that to the employee that was standing Right Next to her, a girlfriend of mine walked through the door and was standing with me when the employee walked over and apologized because I have seen her almost every time I go in there (At Least twice a week!) And she has seen my bird and I, then proceeded to tell me what the manager was yelling. I told her that it was not Her fault and that I was going to the other Dollar General. My girlfriend had made a remark about how calm I was and that she'd Never be back to that one specific store and asked me why I did not show the manager my bird's paperwork stating he is In Fact a n Emotional Support Animal. I told her that I was not going to even worry about showing her since she was SO extremely rude to me, and we both walked out. We have multiple Dollar General's around town but that one inpaticular was my favorite and I WILL continue going there with my parrot and if she says something so ignorantly again, I will show her the paperwork and call her district manager while I am inside that store. This one was the Route 51 store in Uniontown that I am speaking of. I do not know her name but she has grayish hair and glasses and I will be SURE to get it while I am on the phone with her higher up, next time! She had just lost $217.00 in sales for her store today!

I shop there every week an i see every time a lot of people wearing NO mask.and some times even staff.a lot of elderly shops there.there is clearly mask signs on the doors.i have never hurd no one say a word about mask wearing.its a good little store except this matter

I love Dollar General in Hopwood, Pa. They have so much variety of items and the best Clover Valley Fudge Peanut butter cookies for $2.00 just love them

Aisles are too crammed with stuff to get through, store is dirty, workers are unfriendly. And you will wait in very long lines because they won't come up and open the second register.

The worker at the cash register was extremely rude. She questioned me and grilled me as I was walking out of the store. I will never go back to this Dollar General. Who trains these people?

There is always a long line to check out. If this is a trade-off for decent (not extraordinary) prices I would rather pay 10% more and check-out in less than 10 minutes.
