Went to cash a check. They couldn't cash it. Which is fine, but she wrote on it so I can't cash it anywhere else. Very upset. However the manager examples to me in detail why it didn't work. Said it was the checks fault. My thing is 30 other people had the same check and no one else had a problem. Don't go to tops to cash a check. Thats all I gotta say.

Nice store but some of the older cashier are mean and very judgemental! They also talk about the customers to other customers before they even leave the store!! I will say it is a very clean and well stocked store!! The younger employees seem to be more polite and nice also always willing to help!! (And not roll their eyes)

Always check the dates at the Union City Tops. The staff is very nice and friendly but a lot of stuff is almost always outdated or close to it.

Positives..... I love their meat! I prefer their steaks and burger over any other supermarket.If you have a Tops bonus card, you can almost afford to get groceries there.Negatives....SELF CHECKOUT!Their self checkout machines are the absolute worst! You can barely use them without assistance from store personnel, because they have glitches. Horrible idea!

*11/2/23 - Price increase on many items*The store will be getting some upgrades, some things have already occurred- which is a good thing. To stretch your dollar you need to shop the sale items and/or their label brands. Otherwise, the prices at this store are quite high. It is unfortunate, as some in our community may not have a vehicle or transportation to other cheaper stores in our area & may have a limited income. Other than Dollar General, there are no other options for food/groceries in Union City. Their pay is substandard and you will mostly find teens working in the store, as most folks cannot live on a part time minimum wage (or slightly above) job. There are some employees who have been at the store for a very long time, so there must be some job satisfaction. Overall, if you shop for the sale items it is ok. But there are more cost effective stores within a 25 mile or less radius. The store is generally clean & well stocked.

Although the prices are high, the fact that we have a full-service store in our small town makes TOPS a real value for our community. During the Pandemic, I was able to shop online and have my groceries delivered. I still occasionally need delivery, and the shoppers and delivery people have always been incredible.

This store is a joke!!! DO NOT WORK HERE!!! THEY TREAT EMPLOYERS LIKE GARBAGE “the manager Amy and carol”! THEY WILL CALL YOU INTO WORK WITH 7 OTHER PEOPLE JUST TO HAVE YOU STAND AROUND! THEY ARE IGNORANT AND TREAT YOU WITH NO RESPECT! THE DELI FOOD SITS THERE SO DO NOT BUY IT!!!!! THE BAKERY AND DELI ARE DISGUSTING AND NOT CLEANED PROPERLY!!! I wish I could figure out how to post photos and y'all will see the issue. I would say at least every month we have to call anywhere from 2 to 6 times about their food. Like a sub that had flies in it. Then one time a salad made from the deli in the deli fridge with nasty brown lettuce under the chicken and cheese. It's constantly something. The store always seems to have flies and their produce is moldy at times. Then let alone shelves barely stocked with what you need or what's on sale. Then occasionally having to wait in line for way to long. Once I was there and only 2 registers were open and both lines were literally lined up going all the to the deli. Then when I asked if they are hiring they said no. I said well then you need to make sure there is enough employees for more then 2 registers to be open when you have lines long as heck. I seriously wish i had transportation so i can take my business elsewhere.

It's a small town store so it's pricey.. surpirsely a big selection.. love the fresh fried chicken!The staff could be a little friendlier, and ask if you need help instead of letting you wonder around looking for something.. cashier's are sweet..

I enjoy going to the Union City Tops store. They always have a very beat and clean store. Everything that's on sale that week is always on the shelf. No hassel with on sale items not ringing up on sale. Everyone very pleasant.

Love it but wish there were a gas station closer than 30 miles away. Someone dropped the ball before the credit union bought the place across the street. Would it be possible to put a new station in the parking lot between the burger joint and the pharmacy?

Due to being spoiled at most places now a days, it's nice to slow down and go to a place that's kind of out of date but the novelty ends there. Service is slow, the bread is hard, it's crowded even when it's not. Not very ergonomic. Out of different items. Friendly service that reminds you that there's a person actually working there instead of some large chain cookie cutter employee. Speedy visit with a typical layout for a grocery store. Nothing specific to complain about.

Priced are pretty high up there for being in a smaller sized town! Some of the workers are very rude and others are very nice! Kaylee is very rude though. Gives people dirty looks and such when they walk away.

I have frequently purchased food here that was extremely close to expiring. Like milk and lunch meat for example. Their groceries are overpriced to an extreme degree. There are much better, cheaper options in Corry, Erie, or Warren. I will not shop here again, after giving it multiple tries.

Lovely store, this store has a pharmacy and they treat you with respect there. They don't judge because of your medicine like some pharmacies I've been to.

Given the current state of affairs the store had plenty of items in stock. Noticed near empty shelves in the flour section, chicken and toilet paper . Heard an announcement that their truck had arrived so those shelves will probably be restocked. Went early to take advantage of their senior citizen hours.

I like this Tops. It's one of the smaller ones and it doesn't have every single item you might want, but it has a lot! The cashiers are always friendly when I'm here!

Tops market in union city is by far the best tops store I've ever been in, they help people and its bigger then Waterford's tops market. More friendlier people that work there. 5 stars for the Union City Tops Market in PA

Wonderful - everytime I'm there I find the backery items fresh, the produce good the service great and even today (New Year's Day) the manager made a point to greet me and wish me a Happy New Year. Wonderful store. Sanders in Corry should take lessons from Tops

Just a normal grocery store. Nothing special. I think the prices are super high and I only stop if I need one thing or there is a good sale.It is always clean and never a long wait at check out.

Well stocked with fresh veggies and everything I wanted as always. I think they literally are better stocked than walmart which seems to be half sold out all the time due to covid.
