Weather was awful- but place was wonderful. I MUST GIVE HIGHEST COMPLIMENTS to the management for their forbidding any political signage on the grounds. THANK YOU! Regrettably we had visited some other campgrounds which did allow such things and it was so sickening that we would never EVER return to those places again. Sadly the vulgarities have gotten WAY OUT OF HAND and I do LOUDLY APPLAUD Pine Cradle for standing up for decency- because sadly, many of our fellow Americans have completely lost any sense of it.

My wife and I had a great time spending the first weekend here. We booked a space by the lake and we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the deck and boat dock, and it was nice there were bushes that gave us some privacy from the other campers. The site was easy to back up into, and we were set up within 20 minutes. We had friends across the lake, and it allowed us to take a nice walk to take in the sites, and other amenities that were offered while visiting them.We will definitely be coming back.

This is the nicest campground we have ever been to. The sites are large (plenty of room for the kids to play). The property is immaculate, our kiddos caught a ton of fish and the staff was wonderful. If I had to express anything negative it would be that even the paid wi-fi was spotty at best. I’m not even sure that was a negative, as no one was able to stare at their phone all weekend.

We stayed at this campground on 5/2 and 5/3. While it is a very nice place to camp, I am VERY upset about the fact that they changed their checkout policy for guests AFTER we got there. My sister and her husband came to visit Tuesday night, had to leave by 9:00. After driving 14 hours from SC to spend what we thought would be 6 or 7 hours with my kids on Wednesday, after paying their $5 visitor fee, they were given a piece of paper where the check out time was CLEARLY written over to read 5:00 to apparently fit the staff's convenience. AND their driver's licenses were held at the office to be sure they HAD to leave before the office closed at 5:00! Instead of being able to spend 7 hours with them (after they had all taken off work to spend time with us), we had only 3 hours! This to me is false advertising, since we believed they could stay until 9:00! Overall they did not seem to be very customer oriented. We will not staying there again.

Spent 4 days here first week of June. We rented 2 deluxe cottages. They were awesome. We never used the inside stove. My son cooked over fire or grill. It was windy a lot but it was still nice. My son, grandson, n his buddy fished 85% of time. They caught some nice fish. They took a row boat along. Us girls fished off docks. We Caught a lot of little ones n a few big ones. The pool area was awesome too. You definitely need a golf cart to get around.

Went here for our first ever family camping trip. It was great! The lake is stoked well, we caught three fish including a 12inch, 6-8LBS bass. The sites are nice and large, fire pit and table. The pool area could be bigger, but overall the kids enjoyed it! Beautiful place! The roads are all gravel, and it’s a large facility. If you have a golf cart or can rent one, it is needed here. They were all booked out of carts on a Tuesday check in, which even surprised the girl in the office at check in, so it might be time for them to invest in some more. If you have bikes (and proficient riders) to help get around, that would also work. The staff at the office is pleasant, not rude but not overly cheery and smiley, either. The grounds are beautiful, and well kept. The guys working the mowers were super pleasant and even offered to move our stuff back around the fire pit (they moved them to mow). Overall, this is a great place! We would definitely come back!

Beautiful well maintained campground. Boat and golf cart rentals available. Has a nice pool and a fun splash pad for the kids. Great fishing in the lake. The spots are level and spread out with plenty of room for activities outside your camper. The staff is very friendly.Negatives....Wifi can be purchased but it is a separate fee per device. They sell firewood but it was very fresh and wet. Had a hard time keeping it lit. The game room has a coin operated pool table but it took our money and did not release the balls. We were given a refund and told they would inform the manager. Air hockey table had no puck.

We stayed 2 nights. The campground is immaculate and beautiful. Our site was amazing and the staff was professional and friendly. We rented a petal boat for the lake and it was heavenly. We would love to go back and will. The only reason they didn’t get a 5 rating is both mornings as we were enjoying coffee outside the weed wackers started at 9:00 am on the dot. Killed the relaxing vibe, not to mention the gas smell and noise drove us in our camper.

Had alot of fun camping here with the family! We rented a cabin in the woods and rented a golf cart. The kids enjoyed the splash pad and exploring. Caught a few small fish in the pond. Enjoyed relaxing at the campfire and making memories.

Our 3 time here in June. Be our 4th time in September. Beautiful family park with so many amenities, something for everyone, with a heated swimming pool! Beautiful surroundings and nature. Many different camp sites to choose from. We usually use our tent, but there are cabins, and RV sites as well. Playgrounds for the kiddos, pet friendly, watercraft to rent or bring your own. Walking and bicycle paths to share with the rented golf carts to get around. Just an all round pleasurable campground to visit or live year round. We highly recommend this Beautiful camping ground park.❤❤

We just stayed here for the first time. The whole campground is very clean and well maintained. All staff members we encountered were nice and helpful. The other campers were all very friendly. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was beautiful and the sites are the biggest we’ve seen. The lake was gorgeous! The kids had a great time with the paddle boards and kayaks. The game room and playgrounds kept them occupied. The pool and splash park were great. The water was clean and warm. We will definitely go back and I would recommend this place to anyone. (My kids are 11 & 13 and they had a great time)

Excellent family run campground. Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. Jake masterfully guided us into our site, which was a blessing. The sites are spacious, clean, well-kept and organized. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Well worth the 5.5 hour drive; we wish it were much closer as we would definitely consider a seasonal site here. The office/store staff was cheerful, courteous and helpful. You will get used to disconnecting, and it feels good, but if you HAVE to be connected for work or school, it’s best to plan ahead and go on in to town to do it. All that said, we hope to be back soon, we’d love to see how pretty it is in the fall!

Went for the weekend and had a great time! The campground is beautiful and well cared for, the staff are wonderful and friendly ❤ I love the docks for boating and fishing and the multiple playgrounds make it a great place for kids. The pool was warm, clean and the splash pad is also right there and so much fun! I'm not sure where the GaGa ball game originated but I love how it brings the campground kids together to play like the older days 💕 will be visiting again

New favorite place! Spacious sites, friendly staff and very clean. Have been to other private campgrounds where the seasonal sites are not well kept. Their sites are very well kept. Great pool, said it was heated but it wasn’t, not sure if it normally is. The bathrooms and showers are ridiculously nice. You can tell they take pride in the campground. The vibe this place gives is perfect. One thing we noticed as well was everyone drove slowly and watched for kids. The only downfall was the Wi-Fi. You have to pay 4.99 for 24 hours or 7.99 for 48 hours (or something close to that) and the Wi-Fi does not really work. It is very very slow and one minute it will work well and the next minute it won’t work at all. Not really worth the money. It definitely does not work inside the camper. Other than the Wi-Fi issues this campground is our new favorite!

Nice park. The kids loved it. I'm sure without the current state of the nation there'd been more activities, but overall it was great. The main road to the campgrounds leaves a lot to be desired. Several of the sewer hookups are unique a they come up at a 45 degree angle, which is above grade and not conducive to most hookups... the sites in the 300 area are spacious.. be nice to see those sites a little more level for the larger campers. Big shout out to the STAFF... SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 Definitely doing this again.

Great campground over all! The sites have plenty of room, we were at site 213. Great atmosphere and quiet at night. Clean pool and a fun splash pad for the kids. Camp fire wood was dry and ready to go. We really enjoyed ourselves. Only thing is it is dusty driving in and out so don't go with a clean vehicle. The lake was peaceful and a great place for our yellow lab to swim. We will certainly return. Thanks to the Pine Cradle staff!

My family spent a few days here and we could not be happier. Not only was the place beautiful but the staff and other campers were very friendly! There is a wide array of camping and cabin accommodations for you to choose from which is nice, from very simple to very nice. As my wife has said, you can go 'glamping' here, meaning a glorious kind of camping! My sister and brother in law chose the simplest cabin that came without a bathroom but they said that the public restroom and showers was very nice and clean. They say a place is only as nice as their bathroom! The lake is beautiful. You can rent out canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats and more. It's 10$ an hour or 30 for the day. Fishing is very popular on the lake and the swimming pool is exceptional. It's heated along with a little kid water park. There are also playgrounds set up throughout the campground so that it's not very far away from any site. My little 2 year old boy loved this! It's an excellent place for kids. P.S. there is no cell phone coverage here which I think only adds to the vacation. You truly get to detox from society here.

Well maintained and clean sites. Smelled of sewage around the pond/lake given the above ground leach field at far end of lake. The pool is too small for the number of campers. Beware, that the sewage hook ups for the majority of campsites are on an angle, instead of straight up and down. This makes it more difficult not have the proper angle for black tank hose. If you have children that like to fish they will have hours of fun, if you have kids that like activities going to pools etc. I would look for another place to stay.Giving this a one star review given they would not work with me on a car rental refund. I had a pretty significant finger injury and therefore we needed to leave a day early. I was treated in the emergency department, they would not refund the cart rental. I've been to other campgrounds where they were more compassionate and would work with you regarding partial refunds etc. I would never ask to have a refund for the site reservation but I am certain someone will rent the golf cart today to return tomorrow and now they made double their money.

We had an absolutely wonderful wedding weekend. My son and daughter in law had their wedding and reception here 2 weeks ago. Our families rented 8 cottages and a campsite. Cathy and her staff were very pleasant and accommodating with all our needs. The cottages are beautiful and very well kept. The grounds were very clean, and had many amenities. The wedding and reception was beautiful. Cathy and the staff were very helpful in making sure everything turned out smoothly. I would highly recommend Pine Cradle for your wedding or vacation getaway.

Bringing our kayaks, they have them there to rent also, along with golf carts.. closed to home so friends can visit an enjoy our time with us for a day!! 5🌟. Stayed here two different years, and it’s one of our favorite places. The spots in the lake with your own private dock are worth the extra $. Clean and well maintained.

Very beautiful campground. Our trip was shortened by a lot of rain. The help is very nice. I give a 3 star review tho because there are a lot of full time sites and they are not friendly. You will get the feeling they wish you were not there. We were a group of 6 sites with a bunch of kids. We spent a lot of money there. We camp together all the time. We follow the rules..so when one of our kids, 9 years old, walked a few feet onto our neighbors campsite, the man yelled at him to get off his property. And called one of the mothers an f#%%=$" c$#t. These are the kind of full timers there.

We are so glad we chose to stay at Pine Cradle Lake. The staff was very helpful and polite as we were arriving late, they called us to confirm leaving our reservation information for us. The campground is well maintained and clean; it's nice to see they are investing in making improvements to cabins currently. My husband and I love to get away but also own and operate our own business; they have wifi available that was unexpected but great to have for us. Our dogs enjoyed walks around the lake. We stayed M-F which was pretty quiet! The lake is beautiful; the RV sites on the water with a deck are perfect to sit out on. We will be back.
