It was decent the vegetable section had old produce the peppers were old and some of the green leaf lettuce packets were brown,other than that it's a decent store for a small town

One of the only grocery stores in Tyrone, prices recently have doubled. I told the manager I'm gonna start going to Aldi. They literally have 12 packs of soda listed at $7.49 as a deal.....yea ok. The cheap bread is now $1.79. The store seems to constantly change around the layout which also makes it confusing...Meat is bad half the time....just not a great place to buy groceries.

Set your expectations properly and Save-a-lot won't disappoint. It's very much a small town franchised style grocery store that can fill your average pantry no problem. Lately, their meat has improved. I do wish they would bring in local produce when available. Don't go looking for fresh herbs or basket items, but for canned goods and basics, they're OK.2022 update: the pricing is crazy here now. Many many items went up anywhere from 20-100%+.

Awesome store would be better if millennials could show up and work. Seems like they go through lot of people like a revolving door that's what happens when the government gives out free money. Work ethics not being taught no more.

A not so large Store in a Quaint Small Town that is a convenience to the neighborhood. Great selections considering the size.

The staff at Savealot is always helpful and Tammy that is the deli manager is the absolute best! Her cole slaw, chicken salad, and taco dip is amazing. My only complaint is the lack of cashiers but in their defense everyone is always busy stocking shelves or assisting customers

Open until 10. Takes credit cards. Had fresh pineapple for only 1.99. Nice selection of lots of things in deli and the produce section. Lots of canned foods for .49 and mayonnaise for $1.99, too. I was surprised by some of the selection from which to choose. Questioned why I don't shop there more often. I'll be back! Friendly cashiers.

Prices are great. Very little or no waiting to check out. Average selection of products. The only negative, is that the cashiers ( especially ones that have been there for a while) are not very friendly

Easy to see from street, and to enter, good choices on products and fresh produce, and deli, the meat department is well stocked. Store brands are the best prices. Helpful clerks if you can't find something.

First and last time visiting. It was actually kinda scary. The meat case is disgusting. The chicken was gray. The steaks were the same color as pork chops.

Prices are low but you won't find everything there. I asked for pastrami at the deli counter and they didn't have it. So I asked for corned beef and they didn't have that either. Lol! You can get necessities at great prices if they have it

I go to Save a Lot for sale items thats about it they are ok if you like off brand products mostly they do have some name brands its clean, and the staff are friendly.

I leave this store more than i buy there !!!!The management is horrible, i was just there and two managers stood by while 7 people were waiting in the one check out that was open .Why do these people have a job.This is my LAST time to buy there . It was not the first time i layed my items down and left.

It's a value driven grocery store. Lots to choose from. Includes some major brand name food items.Has a good meat department. It also has a deli.Nice and clean.

I feel awful for the residents who are forced to eat the worst quality of food I've ever seen. Save a lot should be embarrassed they try to over price food I'd only give to farm animals

Door was broken, no sign. Drug my cart in, while workers stood and watched me struggle. Good job ladies! The reaction of that staff made me want to never stop there again.

Exprnsive off brand and name brand items. Not a large selection. Wasted space that could hold more aisles. But the only game in town, so they can charge what they want for the poor and elderly. Ok for a short trip to pick up something you ran out of. I usually shop put of town.

We frequently stop in for the weekly specials even though it's a half hour away. The store isn't very big or modern but the prices are good and people are nice.

Love this place. I can buy A Lot but not pay alot. The meats are really good but cheaper than a regular grocery store.
