The movie unstoppable brought me here and being a fan of both the movie and mom and pop general stores, I finally was able to visit. I soaked in the historical atmosphere being an old fashioned general store with that scent of burning wood made it more authentic. The people there were very courteous and enjoyed the camaraderie as I put myself back in time.Everything there was reasonably priced so we contributed in purchasing some meats and deli cuts.It's worth the trip for at least the historical environment and it's layout. Say hi to the staff and talk about the history of the store. These are a dying breed so let's keep this nostalgia alive

Perfect little store out in the middle of no where. Employees are so kind and the deli is the best. Their meats like the burger and sausage are fresh and so much better than other stores. Worth a visit!

Carson's Store is a wonderful old fashioned store. They are known for having the best meat around and you can have steaks cut fresh to order. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. And you are never rushed. Take a step back in time - it's well worth it!
