They did all that work to remodeling whatever in that store and it is still filthy. They are always out of things. Shelves are not stocked right. They never have staff. They lose the keys to cabinets that people need to buy things out of. The store is a mess. All the people who lives around here are not happy with this store. You all need to do better for the people who lives in this neighborhood. Its so sad.

I just want to rave about an employee. I have been to many Dollar General's all over Pittsburgh and have never felt the need to commend an employee. I was in the Turtle Creek store yesterday afternoon around 3:30 and the girl at the register was truly amazing. Her personality was outstanding, I could have talked to her for hours. She was professional, helpful, considerate and as sweet as could be. Not sure this is where to post it but someone needs to recognize her and commend her

This store is a filthy mess. Product laying damaged on the dirty floors and shelves for the most part empty. Employees are disinterested and quite frankly I don't blame them as the atmosphere is completely depressing. What needs to be done is the current owner needs to be bought out and the manager should be interviewed to see if perhaps they may have been fighting a losing battle. I saw filth like I've NEVER seen before in any retail establishment in my life. Turtle Creek is in desparate need of a place like the Dollar Store. Please someone step in and do something!

This ghetto stores is a joke their website states that they're open from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday I went in there at 9 pm and they told us they're closed already when their website stays something different and it says on the door that they are open until 10pm

Dirty store no room to walk ,Might be the dirtiest store I have ever seen....The majority of your products are not stockedTrying to get help , with a staff member is like trying to eat tomato soup with a fork... They need a fire everyone down to the managers down to the district managers and start fresh

Im in this store everyday. Staff is awesome and super friendly. Shelves are always stocked and the store is clean. This is the only place in the area that sells my favorite drink flavor. Salted caramel Monster Java. Price is 2.15 sometimes on sale for 2/$4 when Sunocco sells them for $4.28. What a steal!

I frequent the Dollar General store in PennPlaza, Turtle Creek on a regular basis. WhatI like most about this store is that the store is relatively small enough to get in and outmore quickly than the bigger grocery storesor supercenters. They surprisingly have a lotto offer from makeup, health and beauty aids to OTC medications, supplements, and vitamins, to laundry and cleaning products. They also have a variety of pet foods and pet accessories which is a plus. The store also has pots and pans, silverware, blankets, pillows, towels, throw rugs and household decor items. One of my favorite things aboutthis store is that they offer both refrigeratedand shelf food products. Though these items may be limited, it is a great place to pick up the basics like milk, eggs, cheese, butter, bread, soda, water and juice, soups, candy and snacks. The store even has bay items such as diapers, wipes and formula. The checkout line can be very long and times, and there is usually only one cashier at a time. They always seem short on help. The workers they do have are very nice and helpful for the most part. They definitely are not getting the pay they deserve. Overtimethey continue to raise prices. I call it GeneralDollars Store... The store and parking lot areboth handicapped accessible. They will allow customers to use the restroom in the back of the store, although I really don't thinkit is especially there to accommodate the customers. Taking the negative aspects intoconsideration, I would still recommend thisstore, especially if you need to pick up a few things and you do not feel like driving fartheror wasting your time in a bigger store.

I'm not sure why but this location always closes early . I'm here now at 9:30 and they claim to be open until 10 but the doors are already locked. Also about 2 weeks ago they closed at 9 and said the were open until 10

This is my local dollar general. I have 0 complaints about this place. The staff and the service is awesome! They also have a variety of products to choose from especially hair products for black hair. Be sure to use coupons by downloading the dollar general app. They're very beneficial 👍😊

The Dollar General in turtle creek is the absolute worst. They never have more than one cashier but there seems to always be 2 people behind the counter. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to buy a Gatorade and some snacks. I dont care if it's a manager they know how to work a register. I have never been in and out of this store in less than 15 minites

It's a complete shame how run down and under stocked this location is compared to one in higher tax bracket or predominantly white neighborhood. One star for the DG company, 5 for the employees who are making the most of it and providing quality service

The store serves its purpose, and is pretty convenient and have a pretty good selection...most of the employees are really nice though, and very helpful. Some rude ones but most of them, especially the ones that have been there for awhile are wonderful.

I am in a lot of DG stores and this one is my favorite.I can only say I prefer this one because everyone is always nice there. I was in several times and my card was not swiping and I had to manually enter the #s(gah). No one sighed or rolled their eyes or treated me poorly! Lol. Those girls in Irwin are terrible. I'll take Turtle Creek any day!Also, love the prices!

This store was out of one of the main items I needed... A-shirts. They also were out of disinfectant wipes. The disinfectant wipes are more understandable just because of the pandemic. Whew!!!

These stores could use to be bigger with the volume of inventory they house. I go there for quick stops. They have low prices and a good variety of items to choose from.

The store is always so messy and unorganized. I went for a can opener which they didnt have and the customer service representative had no idea if they even sold them.

The store is a bit cluttered and shelves are not well stocked. They do have a small store and the parking lot is very cluttered and dirty. The aisles are convoluted and akward to manage.

You can get almost anything you need quickly at the dollar store. I was so impressed with the one in Turtle Creek because they sell almond milk. You would have thought? Dollar General.

The store was recently remodeled and has been a mess ever since. You can't even push a buggy up the aisle. They should have completed the remodel before the re-open

Horrible clientele. They need employees to work, one person should not be responsible for everything! Customers in theese parts are not easy to handle. They cannot open self checkout......they would bankrupt in 2 weeks.

Glad I could use coupons but they sgould be able to used for similar products thats are same price. Parmersan vs Parmersan and Romano. Also 1 cashier who had us waiting in kine while he was on the phone.

Great place to find cute inexpensive gifts and the store is convenient to me. It's sold are a little cramped but there's a huge variety of items you can buy there.
