Really appreciate having a nice grocery store in Troy. Always stocked with the essentials. Great fried chicken, really good donuts and wonderful Italian bread. Good selection of fresh meats. The store associates are always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend

NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY STOREBe prepared they have started a self checkout. There is NO ONE TO HELP CHECKOUT IN THE MORNING.Such a bad idea when people have carts full or slight impairment and need some help.NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY STORE.Prices are higher than other places but it’s the only place for miles so they have a captive customer base. They can mistreat customers and offer subpar products and still make out because when you need something you have to bite the bullet and live with itReally there are similar options up the street at Dollar General for better prices. And they still check you out and bag.Tops Meat section is ridiculous. High prices for poorly cut limited selection.No seafood optionsProduce is not fresh seems to sit for days before offered on the shelf.Employees are rude and short tempered acting like you are a bother rather than where their check is coming from.Terrible terrible place to shop.❌❌Here it is a year later and thought I’d give it another tryHa ha haThey can’t have someone to check you out but they can have somebody to watch you so you don’t steal anything. If I'm ever wondering about if a store is gonna have what I'm looking for. I feel as if tops never let me down. I go right in and right out! Cashiers are always hometown friendly! The produce section needs a little bit of nourishment tho.

Today 12/21/22I entered the store and they had one check out open an all the new self checkout lanes were closed. This happens all the time. Staff seems to be on edge and not friendly. I had 6 or 7 frozen pizzas and I needed to check out. Line was long. Then the desk lady opened another lane without the light on and took a few customers. I went over waiting behind two other customers. When the women in front of me was in the middle of checking out the lady put a this lane closed sign out in front of me. The other line by this time was to the deli. I took my pizzas back and put them in the freezer and left. The reason you cannot get any staff is because you only hire part time workers now. Used to be good store.

Friday afternoon on memorial day weekend and they shut down the self checkout to have 2 registers open. Why spend all this money on technology if you don't use it. 1Properly trained employee can check out 4 people at once there.Get younger employees by paying more.

This store is mismanaged and needs organic food. No grass fed eggs or meat, no organic no GMO poison should be sold to the public. All unhealthy foods that have no nutrishional values. Read the lables people dies and additives that are very bad for people who have low immune systems, wonder why your family is sick all the time? The isles are so small the mobility cart can't manuver down with displays all on the corner of the isles.

This is a good hometown grocery store. It usually has a good selection to choose from and normally has what I'm shopping for in inventory. Their prices are middle of the road, I'd spend more than I would save driving to either of the closest Walmarts (both are essentially equidistant.) The staff there is always helpful and have a smiling face (not that you can see it anymore, due to them wearing masks, but you can tell due to the eyes smiling.) Their Bonus Plus savings are great and can sometimes be significant, I'd advise getting a card. Their hours are also convenient.Update: Recently, they have had some worthwhile sales, but some of their other goods are out of stock (like everywhere else.) There are some newer faces, but still providing excellent service.

Produce is horrible. Rotten plum tomatoes. I also had an earlier experience with thawed and refrozen products. The experiences have turned me off going to this particular store but choices are slim in Troy, PA.

It is a medium size market but don't let that fool you. The management and workers have been great every time I shop there. A good produce, meat, bake,and deli departments. Even has a little cafe area for a quick coffee break

I am always treated with respect and the staff are very friendly. I get my groceries double bagged with no problem and they follow me to my van because I need to ride the motorized cart and put the bags and case of bottled water in for me. Big thumbs up for the Troy, PA. and Wysox, PA. Tops stores and staff. 😊

The 1 star is for my recent experience with an employee at the register this past Wednesday 12/16 afternoon while purchasing supplies for snow storm Gail.I had loaded up my little supplies onto the conveyor belt, when "Little Miss" snarled and asked while inspecting the prepackaged porkchop ribs if they were all one piece, I looked at her puzzled as I didn't understand what she was pertaining to. She proceeded to say "I AM MAKING SURE YOU'RENOT STEALING ANYTHING!" My mouth dropped to the floor when she said that and looked at me blankly, like I should know because I've done it before. It was very uncomfortable and had I not been in a rush due to the storm that was brewing I would've asked for the manager and discussed the cashier's behaviour. I mean, I've shopped in this local store for 2 years, though we're not from here but the convenience they provide for a quick meal is great, only to be let down by an employee who isn't quite as professional as the rest of the cashiers in the store.I'd advise to have new employees take a class how things are prepared in the store, especially in the meat department. Once packaged, it is considered as "one item, unless specified."Truly disappointed 😞

The produce and bakery are fresh and lots to choose from. The store could use an update and deep cleaning. The meat cooler has old dried up blood which is a health hazard. There isn’t very good steak cuts to choose from. The ribeye isn’t a ribeye it’s a chuck roast must be people in this town have no idea what a ribeye looks like. Wanted crab legs and lobster nope had to drive to Wegmans in NY to get some seafood. Store is small and everything is jammed in a little space which the spot it is on is plenty big enough to build on more space even rebuild and make it modern updated. The women cashiers do not act like they like their jobs. Bought a premade Italian sub .... the meat was gray. 😔 I only have it a star because I had to... and the produce and bakery weren’t bad.

My son gave me a ride to here! Yay Mama B(me)!! Now let me tell you all 1 thing > MYYYY SON tends to be a bit BOSSY & ALWAYS " HURRY UP MOM!" So... I'm running to TOPS door in downpour; I run to the dairy aisle quickly grab my 3 items continuing to run to checkout! LolI get in line and the gentleman in front of me says "Go ahead Ma'am that's all you have and I have a cart full. Yay #2 Mama B!! Yay#3 Joshua, my cashier! A very friendly young man and awesome job bagging!! Thank you Joshua my items got home safe in bags!! I checked out grabbed my bags, receipt and Monopoly game piece telling Joshua to have a good night as I ran out the door!! Thank you to the guy who let me go before him!!A QUICK TRIP INDEED MAKING MY SON SMILE AND LAUGH!! As if they knew I got in and out of store in record time!!

Business seems slow and crowded. Many customers come in shop without mask. Workers is wearing mask. Morning hours worse time go shopping cuz too many things in isle worker stocking shelves but too many boxes in the way. Why not stock shelves in evening for there less customer shop in evening.

They have everything you've ever wanted in life plus a selection of food. Low shelves? Just like their everyday low low prices, so you know you won't be breaking your back when reaching for your wallet. You may however break your back trying to reach that last can of tuna that's on sale. Tops, your friendly neighborhood super market. When you're here, you're family.

Regular groceries are twice as much as walmart and aldi. Unfortunately the only place to find good milk. Not tops brand though. I do not weekly shop for groceries here.

If you are trying to shop quick this isnt really a great option and dont recommend buying any fruit or vegetables from here they always seem to be moldy. But the manager cathy is a wonderful amazing person.

Have problems with shopping carts.Many times they are jammed together so hard I have struggled to separate them. (Very hard when I am a disabled senior citizens.) I told TOPS in their surveys many times about carts....nothing is done to make it easier to get a cart.
