During a big rainstorm in the middle of the night we checked into the Rodeway Inn in Towanda around 1 am with our 3 small children. We were exhausted and got our stuff to the room, ready for bed, then turned off the light. The light would not turn off fully. We were not in a position to change rooms and move all of our stuff as the kids and ourselves were exhausted. I went to the front desk in the morning and were treated rudely about it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It would have been better to just sleep in our car rather than go into this motel.

The owners are messed up, I stayed there 1 1/2 months , paid all that money, then my time was up, I was running late so I wasn't out at check out time , got back there half hour late to get my stuff out of the room, they called the cops and said I refuse to leave, huh, I was there to grab my belongings , they would not let me in the room and I was told to get off the the property and they threw all my clothes away, my bike, important papers, my wallet, everything I owned was in there, what kind of people do something like this, what goes around comes around I pray they get what they deserve eventually, I lost everything, all winter clothes jackets , money, food, that was not right, I hope they lose the outdated roach infested place,

I cannot begin to tell you how absolutely amazing this place is!! Rooms are cozy and staff is wonderfully Accomidating! Prices are more than fair for what you receive and they're also pet friendly!! There's an ample amount of space to walk and play with your dog and kids. And it's located almost directly across from the hospital, next to burger King and a shopping plaza and has a Dunkin right across the road. What more could you possibly need? Why spend an outrageous amount, for the same (We honestly think better than most) Hotels!! Not to mention, jacuzzi bathtubs....You know what you need to do. 😉Rooms: Clean and cozy!! Each has a microwave and coffee and juice available at all times in the lobby!Noteworthy details: I can't even tell you how friendly and outgoing the staff here is. Because words cannot express how friendly and honestly good people they are!! Seriously, You should stay here!!

Be careful!!!photo camera, portable speaker, phone charger, watch were stolen by a cleaner.I stopped for work, spent 2 nights at the hotel. At 9 am I left the room, left the camera on charge. He returned 3 hours later. The camera , my. Watch was stolen. The manager at the reception was rude to me, swore obscenities. The police said, "we didn't see on the video that the cleaner took out your camera, the case is closed." The camera was very dear to me. I'm sure my things were stolen by the hotel cleaner.

I stayed here for work while I was working a 12am-12pm shift.The outside of the hotel and hallways are nice and clean. That said some issues I had was that apparently housekeeping only can come after 4pm. I had requested that come in a few times before 1pm, which they only did so after I requested for trash to be changed and fresh towels which were given only after I called. The rooms are dated and in my opinion they need to update the rooms. Overall, the hotel is good for a place to sleep but I would not go out of my way to stay there again unless my company gets a room there again.

The motel was dog friendly and reasonably priced.The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.The bed was very comfortable, providing a good night's sound sleep.The appointments of services (i.e., running water (at good pressure and flow with lots of hot water,) air conditioning, heating, television, ice machine, bright lights, dark shades, etc.) were very good.Recommended.

The rooms are outdated. The room was not cleaned, and smelled musty when i came in. They have a tarp on part of the roof.No smoke detector in the room.I feel the bathroom wasn't clean, and refused to take a shower.I will never come back.

The has been the worst place I've ever had a chance to stay at unfornately. I had rented the room for 2 nights before we got there. When we go in we see there's no pillows so we called front desk to tell them they brought them. Well then the TV wouldn't change channels so they had to enter our room again took bout 15mins to fix it, as he's fixing that, my husband is starting to eat, I see a roach crawling on the wall coming right for him. We tried to kill it but unfornatley didn't. So I just decided to take baths and sleep in our truck. So the next morn 8am I go into the office told them to not charge me for another night. Oh ok fine fine they say. I don't mention anything. I just wanted to go. Pay for the 1 night and be done with it. So a few days later I'm checking my account it seems to be off well they charged me 217$ plus 20 more that was pending. I called the hotel but he was very rude. I called the main office. They returned 88$. That's not half of 217. And 20,. I've never been so frustrated with a place. If ur going to stay here thinking it's cheaper than the others in town. Well it's not. It's just cheap run down rude over-charging motel. My advice keep on moving go to another place. I'll never be at one of these places again. Id be ashamed taking advantage of hard working people. It's disgusting.

I just started traveling for my job. I was new to the area so I decided to stay here. It's kind of like a motel set up. When I walked into the lobby I rang the bell and this nice gentleman came out. [I think I woke him up]. He was nice and checked me in with no issues. Here comes the bad part. The comforter on the bed had large stains on it. And there was so much dirt and dust on the heating vents. I had to be there for 2 nights. I got off of work around midnight and when I would get out of my car this older man who appeared intoxicated would come out and ask me if he could help me into my room. I really did not feel very safe there. So here is my advice to the Rodeway Inn. Buy new comforters!!!!! And clean those vents!!!!

Horrible place, do not stay there. Doesn't provide a reservation confirmation or final credit card receipt, even after weeks of requesting them. Keeps stating their "computers are down" and the owner is in India. Poorly managed. Provided a room key for an "available" room and when door was opened there were people in the room. Got a key for a second room, and that room was filthy and the bed wasn't made. I've heard locals report that the rooms are unclean and have cockroaches as well.

Seems like a good place to get bed bugs, covered in red bites.Owners were very kind but being covered in scratchy red bumps is unacceptable.

It was very old and stinky. Our door key didn’t work half the time. No bar as it is shows. Breakfast is stale donut and bagels. Staff of 3 was very nice. Cold shower . I would never recommend

The bathroom floor was slippery. When I wiped up the floor after our shower, The towel was black. Maybe they mopped the floor with a dirty, soapy mop. My husband told the person at the front desk and there was no response. We stayed in room 112 for two nights, May 29 and the 30th.. The rest of the room was clean and our bed was very clean and comfortable. No extra towels or wash cloths . Only one hook on the insider of the bathroom door. No place for hanging clothing on hangers.

100% PERFECTION ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I have never been so impressed.This view of river and the mountain is breathtaking.The full moon rising over the mountain is unforgettable.The sound of the doves in the morning.The whippoorwill singing at dusk.Walking distance to so many necessities.Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, two pharmacies, Grocery stores, and a very modern regional hospital.Just a mile up river from the most beautiful town Pennsylvania, Historic Towanda.The staff make the visit .from the phone call to reserve the room, to check in, and check out, you are working with helpful people pleasers.Nothing disappointedEvery thing impressedThis motel is the most underpriced value in travel accommodations in North America.Sparkling clean rooms.sparkling clean hallwaysand stairways.Great WiFi receptionGreat television.Great package of cable station.I am amazed.I have stayed at 250$ a night motels and hotels and resorts that cannot come close to the magnificence of this Rodeway Motel.100% Perfection ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am very pleased about my choice on staying here the people were very welcoming , my room was extremely clean and excellent size. They had refrigerator, microwave and great sized bathroom! I felt at home..Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, very clean , and a bar down stairs that had awesome bartenders very sociable!! I will be staying here on my next trip to Towanda.

Me my husband and our 4 year old son came to Towanda and needed a place to sleep for the night so we called around and this was the only place we called that had rooms available. we passed the place up at first because there was a fire truck,ambulance,and 2 or 3 other vehicles there with emergency lights on and so we thought maybe we should try some other places. With no luck we went back and the emergency people were gone, so we stopped I went in and asked about a room and what was going on with the fire trucks n things. The man at the desk just kinda laughed and said someone had called them complaining about a possible gas leak because the smell. (Which was strong) but said they didn't find anything. So I paid for room and checked in. When we got to our room it was freezing cold. Had no smoke detector, several lights were blown or completely out, the window to the room was unlocked and open, there was a door connecting to the room next to us with a door for each side but u couldn't lock it, so I placed a chair in front of it. The chairs in the room were very dirty and as u can see in the picture not in very good shape. The lookout hole in the door leading to the outside was missing the glass part, and someone had placed a piece of toilet paper in it. I was really upset that we had just paid 108 dollars for this kind of quality.....but we really had no choice but to stay. It was the only available room in the town and it was already too late to keep driving. I honestly would not recommend anyone stay here. Not a fun experience at all.

When we got into our room there was stuff on the counter , that I had to clean off before I could set anything on it & the bathroom obviously wasn’t mopped. I wasn’t too concerned about that but after all we did pay for a room so shouldn’t of had to deal with it . ALSO I GO IN THE BATHROOM THIS MORNING & shut the bathroom door behind & I look & there is mold down by the bath tub and ALL OVER THE BATHROOM WINDOW & WINDOW LEDGE!!!!!! I’m here until tomorrow :,(

The only good thing about this place is the price. I honestly considered taking the loss on the money and staying somewhere else. The door to the room didn't close all the way, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed, the curtains were broken and had to be held closed with a paper clip, the sink area had something caked all over it, there was hair in the tub, the blankets and sheets on the bed were stained, and there was a window with no curtain or any covering directly across from the toilet. I could go on, but you get the point. I will never stay there again. So disappointed.
