It has made major stides towards improving services. Now they require more staff to keep up with customer volume. Manager is professional and customer friendly. Update: It is a pleasure to shop there now. Managers and staff provide a great environment and shopping experience. Please don't change!!

NEVER shop here.. worst experience of my life. nasty, unhelpful employees.. half the items have no prices and the employees don't get up to help. they stack the shelves in a way where if you pull one thing out, everything else comes toppling out after and falls all over your head, your feet. one employee was sprawled out at the end of the aisle sitting taking up so much room, and would not budge, you had to maneuver around her, to try to get around, she would not move for the customers. The cashier snapped at me when I did not realize it was my turn, because she was whispering to the customer in front of me, I told her I had never used the smart coupons before and asked her how, she just seemed angry, arrogant, she had that attitude of, i am better than you and i don't want to be here.. all she had to do was tell me to enter my phone number.. then the manager accused my friend of shoplifting, and when she was completely, utterly 100% wrong, instead of apologizing, she screamed "I LOSE 200$ A DAY" well', maybe if you and your employees did their jobs.. that place is a hazard.. no prices on anything, asked an employee what the price of a swiffer was, 'i don't know' and walked away.. things falling all over my head, another customer attempted to help me but could not get to me because an employee was sitting on the floor, shampoo bottles falling on my feet.. and the rudest cashier I have encountered in 20 years, and a nasty manager, who makes a mistake, refuses to suck it up and apologize, and hires these people in the first place.. and the store is a disaster in the first place.. the prices are horrible for a dollar store anyway.. I'll stick with my other dollar store whose digital coupons actually let you save some real money.. save yourself the headache and stay away.

This is a great store to visit they actually do have everything that a Rite Aid does and more. The only thing missing is service with a smile. The people at the register were stone cold zombie like just going through the motion, and smoking in the front of the store. But besides that the store is clean

You can get some good deals on some things but like with many stores like this, sit items end up being more expensive. They don't always have everything in stock and checkout can sometimes take a while but I've bough some clothes there and they are well prices and decent quality plus really cute.

Awful experience more than once. Female manager is rude and couldn't care less about the customer or the condition of the store. It is filthy. One cashier while the manager and other employees stay in the back or are consistently out front smoking. A disgrace to the community.

Christina was the best I will never go back there again since she is no longer there. I tried to go in only when she was there cause the customer service and management sucked. There turn over rate for employees and managers is crazy. I was always seeing a new face. The store is just nasty and never clean. So sick of seeing the junkies in there also who drop pickles late at night. The area of the store is just bs and should have more cops in area for the ppl who park in front cause they are to lazy to park in a spot!!

Clean with attached free parking in lot. Prices aren't the best but they do have a wide variety of products mostly off brand though.

The manager is rude and unprofessional here... she yells at the customers and ignores them when asking for help to find something. This was my experience today at family dollar. The manager is the older lady with blonde hair. Her professionalism is disgusting

Well I bought a box of Ora olive oil from here. Which was on sale but still got charged original price. In the meantime i used the relaxer on my hair. I lost so much hair from this product it made me sick.after rinsing it out,I brushed my hair and my hair repeatedly fell out. This redicouls item didn't say anything about not using it on bleached hair afterwards. So anyone that buys this product do not use on hair that is or has been bleached or dyed. No wonder why it was on sale??? By the way this is the most dirtiest family dollar I've ever been to in all the 25 states I've traveled to. Ignorant ass employee's and scummy floors that don't ever looked washed. Absolutely nasty ..pocono has changed for the worse.

Found a penny item and was told it’s against company policy to sell it very rudely!! looked up can they sell penny items and seen nothing saying they can’t!! Feel like she lied to me!! Contacting corporate in the morning!!

Worked here for 2 and a half years to get pushed out the door at the end they didnt wanna fire so they treated me poorly till I left heard them say I'm no good I'm not worth keeping as if I did something wrong I think I was pretty good for the most part but it's ok still hope the store doesnt die down although tgeres a new Dollar General up the road from here !
