Great Campground with full hookups.Depending on the site, you may have some trees for hammocks. All sites seems to be very shaded. Bathrooms are clean. I have not seen the showers (not sure they have).Majority of the campsites are close to each other.Restrooms: Clean and stocked restrooms.

It's a typical COE Park.Nice well marked trails 🚶 Great fishing 🚣‍♂️and the beautiful boating area. Well maintained. Lots of history.The first time I've ever seen wheelchair accessible picnic tables!Playground: Huge playground and ball fieldRestrooms: Dated, but adequate

I struggled a little with this review .. was between a 3 and 4.. but we had a good time so I had to give it a 4 even with some of the issues... LolFirst . The signage to get to it if your aren't familiar with the area leaves alot to be desired.. lol.. we ended up at the boat ramp area.. first.. but go where we needed eventually.. luckily we had a popup and not a huge 5th wheel or something 😬There is no limit to the amount of dogs you can have.. I am not anti dog.. but.. I'm pretty sure no one wants to hear barking from a bazillion dogs .. lol . That being said I was impressed with how well most of the dogs behaved for the most part, generally only a few issues with the dogs going nuts whenever new dogs walked by.. also was surprised most dogs didn't appear leashed at the sites . They were when walking . I would have been more concerned had I had young children.There is one shower house (2 other flush toilet areas)and it was pretty clean even tho it was older.. my issue was with the silly push button water .. I would be ok if it was timed at say.. 2min.. then you had to push again.. but mine.. and I didn't try them all but my husband did say his was the same .. was about 30 seconds.. 😬 pain in the butt to just wash my hair . I assume this may be because all sites are full hookups they assume you really aren't using the shower🤷‍♀️There was no enforcing of quiet time that I could see.. our neighbors the first night we're up talking loudly till after 1 am .. I generally am not concerned till about midnight but found it odd no ranger of any kind even stopped by.. again not a huge deal but when your packed in so close a little courtesy goes a long way. Plus always pack ear plugs . LolWish they sold firewood and ice on the premises but there is a small general store about 5 min up the road so not too bad .The site we were at was very well taken care of .. we were along the water.. in section 3 .the site as I said is full hookups very convenient.In general a nice place .. access to the water for tubing and fishing .. wish sites were further apart and prefer less dogs .. I would have given in 3.5 if I could ..

First time ever at this campground. Site 11 is very nice. It was quiet, peaceful, and just great. Only reason for not 5 stars is the 3 dirt speed bumps with no signs. You hit them pulling a camper and it was horrible. Will definitely be back again but next time back in the woods more.

Very nice campground. Most sites have full hookups. Some sites are too close together. There are still quite a few that feel very private.

Favorite campground. AN army corps of engineer site they accept the all access pass. Campsites are 20 or 22 dollars depending on time of year if using the all access pass. BTW all veterans can get this pass now at no charge. Not all bath houses have showers and when they do they are pushbutton. Plenty of hot water. The campground hosts do the majority of the work only see rangers maybe once a day. Nice trails. Squirrels are viscious bread stealers though :) lol. The playground is very nice and a kids favorite. Be sure and check your approach some sites are tight and have trees and/ or drainage ditches when backing

Great campsite, 91. Bathhouse very clean 7-1-2023. No forewood on site, but available in town. Great fishing by spillway. Hiked the trails. Will be back

Love the area, and the fact that it is pet friendly.The construction at the entrance is absolutely ridiculous, and unnecessary. The building at the entrance has already been hit, because of the ridiculous guard rail that was placed way too close to the building.Dog-friendliness: Our dogs love it there, as do we!

I've been camping at Tionesta for many many years. For about the last 5 years that we have been coming the campground has been depreciating. Like we are hear at the campground June 9,2022 and the grass needs mowed, the sites are cluttered with debris. As a matter of fact my daughter visited and said is this the same place I thought was fantastic when I was little. I said it was she said oh this is not at all what I remembered, meaning eww not good. Things are just deteriorating. Although the new playground is a plus. Now get all the other improvements it would be nice. Or just MOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Came to revisit the spot where I proposed to my wife, back then fiancee/girlfriend. Been coming here since 07/11/17, now it's part of not only our anniversary of being together but now serves as our engagement anniversary as well. The view from this spot was the perfect place to propose for just us two. Definitely a great place to visit. Plus they have lots of things to can do here besides proposing to your loved one... hint hint.

Campground is very nice and clean. Great place for short hikes and bicycling. A number of sites are tight for big rigs and some might give auto leveling a challenge. The bath/showers were very clean.

Spent a week in our 5th wheel here. Nice paved roads & average sized sites, many with little privacy. Our site had the river behind us. Was nice & quiet during the week, but louder on the weekend when it was full which is to be expected. Only 3 stars because they allow any number of people (2 camping units per site)& dogs on a site. We are dog lovers, but 9 dogs was a bit too many! One dog would bark & the lot joined in! No WiFi, Verizon cell service, or air antenna TV channels. Went into town to the lovely local library for cell & WiFi service.

Level campsites, but very packed in. Nice little town. Bathrooms are clean but showers are the worst. The showers at the back loop start out scalding hot, run for 10 seconds and stop. Each time you restart it, the water gets colder and colder. The other shower facility is not much better.

The campground itself is really nice. If you want to fish you have the Allegheny River and tionesta Creek. If you have a small boat either stay in the dock area or go way upstream. The idiots with the ski boats will zoom right by you with no consideration.

We actually checked in, saw how far out site was from family, and decided to check back out. Verbally, the park and recreation people seemed accommodating. Wrong! Denied all return of our 4 day fee; while 2 of our days/site got rented to somebody else!! So, this park benefitted from one site x2 for this final holiday weekend!! Refused twice a refund request for a unused service/site!! We expected upto 50% loss due to weekend, but to rent it out for half of our rental time and collect a second fee from someone else?? Absolutely wrong!!

Lots of shade, full hook-ups, and plenty of good fishing nearby. Town has a great general store, hardware store, sporting goods store, grocerystore, pharmacy, good eateries, and plenty of places to launch a kayak or canoe. Visit the lighthouse, or spend the day on the water; Tionesta Lake, Tionesta Creek, or the Allegheny River!

Nice place to stay for awhile there's play grounds for the kids and swimming for everyone nice shade trees and they show movies spring and summer also bonfire's and tell stories lot's of fun for everyone .
