Took our family to see the Rodeo. The granddaughters love doing this every year. I'm glad it stopped raining, and with it being so muddy, no one got hurt, especially the animals. The children all ran out to grab the flag from the calves. Definitely be doing this again next year.

We had the best time. We love coming here. The food is selicious. The service is excellent. They are very accommodating and the riding is so fun. We bring our own horses and try to come a couple times a year. Highly recommend.

The most tender steak ever! Cooked to perfection on a hot lava rock. Definitely going back 😋 A bit pricy but it really is a dining experience. Reservations recommended as the dining area is small. Beautiful scenery.

Great place for real trail rides! Cabins, hook ups and primitive camping! Awesome rodeo every year in july! Restaurant and bar are great! Good times and lots of fun! Beautiful country with woods and creeks andlots of plaxes to explore!

This was a first time experience for dinner. The service was great and the girls worked very hard. The French Onion soup was great! The ribs were fall of the bone delicious! I hope to go back after the winter season!

Went on a 2 hour horse ride yesterday. It was fantastic!! My Granddaughters and best friend enjoyed our ride. We went through a large creek and through the woods. I take my Granddaughters horse back riding every summer but we used to go to Cooks forest but never again. They do not compare to Flying W.

I came hear regularly with my family starting in the 1970s to go riding. My family's cabin was just down the road. I looks just as I remember, very beautiful. I wasn't that old when I started riding, I might have been five or six, the horses were very gentle. I had many good times here. I remember a natural spring being around here as well.

What a great experience over the years. I started going there with a friend in the 90s and his family. Most recently returned and really like the experience and how the place has changed, and improved. Definitely a must to visit

I had the surf and turf on hot stones. OMG, it was FANTASTIC!! I had never had a meal like it before or since. Your meat comes out on a hot lava rock, and you continue to your meat to your specifications. If you want your steak rare, don't keep it on the stone. Move it to the side. Or if you want it well done, just keep cooking it on all sides and cutting it in bite-sized pieces. You can also pick 2 dipping sauces for the meat. I got cocktail sauce for the surf and garlic butter for turf and to put on the baked potato that I also ordered. Best meal ever. I would go back if I'm ever in the area.

Our first radio. It rained. Thundered. Lightening. (Tickets would have been non refundable) if we left. So beware. But. Issue. On 50/50 tickets. No one came forward. When he called number. So a staff member in front of us. Said kitchen. Kitchen. He wasn't on the phone. He didn't get a phone call. So where did the money go. I do not like that. Either come forward or loose your money. Very un professional.

Great for booking a horseback rides and restaurant on site always has really good food. The scissors they provide with the French onion soup work out well and the stone cooked meals are fun while also very delicious.

Fantastic rodeo in a very small town near tionesta. Flying w has a wonderful bar, a fairly large menu for such a small area. They also ran out a couple cabins, and have horseback excursions and lessons. I would highly recommend coming here. Sunsets are beautiful over the hill near the barns in the summer.

Our family booked the 1 hour horseback ride,for Fathers Day. It was a great day! The ladies at the barn were very friendly and helpful! The tour was both exciting and relaxing! The horses were well behaved,and reacted nicely to our commands. After the ride,we had lunch at the restaurant. The food AND the service were amazing!!! I recommend this experience to everyone. The horses can be a bit intimidating,for those who aren't very familiar with them. But,the handlers are very helpful,and will put your mind at ease!!

I attended the Warrior Retreat in August 2020 and 2021. It was an amazing experience! First of all the scenery is absolutely breathtaking, lots of activities like horseback riding, hiking. The food is absolutely delicious and the cabins/lodge were very excellent! I definitely recommend this retreat and Flying W Ranch! I look forward to attending next year! Thank you so much!!!!

The food at the restaurant was top notch. The service was quick and efficient. For a place to be that good out in the middle of nowhere was not expected. Highly recommend the steaks cooked on a stone

The food at the Restaurant is sooo good!! I hear people talk about the Onion Soup, the say it's the best!!😌 If you love Good Steak, try their "Hot Rocks" Steak or Scallops are juicy and cooked perfectly!! The Steak Salad last night, was so good!! 🥩🥗The waitresses are Amazing!! The people are friendly and funny. Definitely a Good time!!

Been here before. 10 years. Food is not bad for the area. Saw previous post, don’t go here when busy, but trust what I’ve had in the past. Appetizers 20 minutes late and cold. Said don’t worry about it just bring main course. 30 minutes later burger was ice cold, said don’t want it , I know it’s a small staff. Brought some ‘dude’ who thought he was chef and belittled my wife in front of the whole place. Cussed at whole party. Amazing how people try to help small businesses. If you can’t don’t.

I've been coming to the Flying W for trail riding for the past 25 years, at least. I've never had a bad experience here. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. This past time, Nicki was a great guide and really helped my son feel at ease and comfortable for his first time on a horse. We will be going back for sure.
