Stopped on a 80° Wednesday afternoon with a few of my buddy's all riding our motorcycles, cruising the river. We were hoping to have some ice cream but unfortunately it wasn't in the cards. Hopefully next time it wont be on a Tues, Wed, or Thurs afternoon. By the way it was the first day of summer.

We were on our way back home and seen the sign and stopped. The banana milkshake was so so so good! It was thick but not too thick and had just great flavor!My boys had milkshakes as well (banana, vanilla) and they loved them as well. I even got a pup bowl for our dog, Polly. She loved the ice cream and even enjoyed the dog biscuit on top! Great prices and very friendly works!

For a little shop in the middle of small town, Pennsylvania, their prices are very fair for the quality of ice cream served.By no means a frozen custard or extremely high quality ice cream, but very good nonetheless.Been going here for years and will continue to do so for many more. If this is a one time stop, I strongly suggest the banana split; it's a must.

Was there 8/14/2022 early afternoon, around 1pm. Ordered a chili dog and some fried mushrooms. the chili could have been a little better, very thick and not a whole lot of flavor, mushrooms were good, the young guy working was very friendly

Randomly found this place getting lost in forest. It has great hot food, I got a pulled pork and my company of chicken fingers with fries. We also got mozzarella sticks and we are going back up for sundae! It's pretty cheap and good food with a nice little seating area!

***DO NOT ORDER FROM THEIR "TAKEOUT" MENU!!!*** We called AHEAD to order from their "Takeout" menu. When we got there, we went to a side window to pickup our order. We were ready to pay for our food, but then a woman came to the window and said; "You have to wait in line with everyone else!" And not in a polite way EITHER! The line was as long as a Disney World ride, so there our food sat!!! By the time we were FINALLY able to pay, our food was soggy & cold! We TRIED explaining all of this to the woman at the window, but we were AGAIN told that "We had to wait in line with everyone else!" They just lost a repeat customer! Why have a TAKEOUT MENU/OPTION THEN?!?

Serving sizes are big! And it seems like the prices might be a little high to compensate for that. 3 small cones with sprinkles and a pop cup was $9.04. The pup cup was $1.25, so I guess not too bad, but I asked for a much smaller portion for the dog and still got what looked like a small serving of ice cream which to me was too much for an 11 pound dog. Great friendly people. Seriously nasty fly problem and they were biting we ate in the car, not a good thing with two kids and a dog.

Ordered was to go, & was in a hurry so didn't check it, so we'll take a little blame. Ordered chicken fries & strips, side of ranch & BBQ sauce with a peanut butter milk shake. Chicken fries were over cooked & not edible, I got ketchup only, & milk shake was nasty, had a funky taste to it almost like the milk was spoiled of the machine want cleaned correctly. Made me slightly ill. Stopped at Sheetz in Reno to get better food & drink

The place offers food and ice cream options and has a pretty big selection. The food looked great. It's a shame they don't offer credit or debit options (as of July 2019). It's unacceptable especially since nowadays you can process debit transactions through mobile.

I like the ice cream store very much. The store not only serve hard and soft ice cream but also have burger and hotdogs. It is outside dining and it is perfect place for summer visitors. The store is not pricy at all and the owner is very friendly. I ate banana split, hotdog and my husband ate a burgher. We did not spend a lot of money at all but we had a great meal with a big ice cream. The store is on the Main Street too. It is close to the gift store and the subway alone the way and easy to find. I recommend this place to couples, hikers, and camping people.

We had 11 of us going out for ice cream. Had my family gone first, the other dad said we all would have left. Unfortunately, my children have Celiac disease and cannot eat WHEAT, malt, barley and rye. The servers did not know what that was and that is ok. The young girl was very willing to help me! However, she asked the man in the back who goes "All of our ice cream has WHEY in it!" At first I said, "Whey is ok. It's wheat that is not." The young girl was trying to get me the ingredient list when another server (older girl) goes, "All of our ice cream has wheat in it." I said that I doubted that was true because my kids can eat a lot of ice cream. She stated it again and was not willing to listen at all. To top if off...(I wish I took the picture) they have on their sign the Peanut butter cookies are GLUTEN FREE! So we tried to get 2 cookies. Nope. They are crushed up to put in the ice cream! Um. I think you need to do some research on this topic and actually understand what it is. There are a lot of people who are either celiac or gluten intolerant anymore. Please understand what you are selling, talking about. We walked next door to Dollar General and bought them each a pint of ice cream for $2, walked back to Bananas and sat and ate it.

Took my two nieces and sister in law out for ice cream because my nieces loves this place.. hands down awesome ice cream shop. Prices was amazing, lower than most ice cream shops in the surrounding area.

The cook is rude and when questioned gives a bigger attitude. But I seen it all when a customer asked for a banana spit this weekend and got it in a drink cup! Lmao the customer said I don’t think this is mine and was told with a attitude they don’t have any banana spit boats to put it in and they where out of bananas also. Lol and to top it off they charged her for a real banana split. How are you called bananas and are out of them? If you don’t like or don’t know how to do your job then find another one. What a joke! But the biggest problem here is the rude people that work there. Not all of them but most of them especially the teens.

While driving through Allegheny National Forest, we decided to stop at Bananas for some ice cream. I found everything VERY overpriced and the service terrible. They should think about hiring more people. We waited over 20 minutes for ice cream. If you don't mind driving further, Warren has some great ice cream spots!
