I couldnt take it any more- they use the pick up section in the pharmacy ignoring the consultation window... meanwhile six people are waiting while a woman changed the name on her script-- was that necessary? It has gotten worse over the years- my family and I switched-- no respect for other people's time

After searching, I couldn't locate a pharmacy item in the allergy aisle and so I went up to the pharmacy to ask for help. I LOVE when the response is, "If we had it.. it would be in aisle....". Anyway, I said nicely that I know you have it, I just can't locate it. I know they are probably understaffed but even if they would go on the intercom and ask some other employee in the store to help me would have been great. But to no avail. Took me about 10 more minutes to finally find it. Would have probably taken them two seconds.

This is located in Thorndale and closer to Wawa. They have plenty of parking but sometimes tough to get in and get out back to main road due to you can't turn left etc. Typical CVS store that has ATM machine, photo print area, basic stationery, huge candy/chocolate section, cosmetics, dental section, travel accessories, and travel packs. They do have a wide range of over the counter, which includes leading brands and their own brand. You can find some seasonal items that form good for gifting. There is an area for getting vaccines.Coming to the prescriptions, they pretty much carry the prescriptions and are okay to keep it longer if you call them ahead. Refills are easy, too. The only thing scheduling appointments is challenging at this location.

I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences here with staff from pharmacy to checkout. Scripts are filled timely and I’m always greeted with a smile.

I have to give them a 2 star because it could have been worse, but not by much. I routinely get told that my prescription will be filled in an hour. After (routinely) waiting over 2 hours to give them plenty of time they still never even start filling it until i arrive at the pharmacy. This is extremely unprofessional. Don't lie to me about an hour if you can't do it, be honest. I wish I could start charging the company for my lost time!!

Is there any way you can list which person is working the minute clinic? You have an amazing physician some days and a horrid woman others. Today I was late. That is on me. This woman wouldn’t give me a time of day and was unbelievably rude when she had no other patience and there were appointments available. She was fixing a computer and shewed me away. It’s been 20 minutes and still not a single patient and still won’t see me. I have no voice and will now have to pay a significant amount more for an Urgent care. This is the second time I have left this woman crying when I came for help. I am not surprised that the others have walked away rather than being treated by this woman.

It is hard to imagine that things could get any worse. No one answers the phone anymore - pharmacist told me it is the lack of staff. They text me that an Rx is ready and then cannot find it when I get there - happened three times with one Rx over the course of a week. Review of 3 years ago (3 star): I have used this pharmacy for several years now. In general they are good about having the prescription ready when they say they will, they are close by, and they participate in our insurance plan. Recently some of the younger staff members act as though waiting on me is an annoyance.

Worst pharmacy. Employees in the pharmacy have the worst attitudes. They have poor customer service skills. Literally only want to do what they have to. Don't go above for the customer. Take there sweet time gossiping with one another instead of working . No wonder their lines are so long.

I went to this cvs which isn’t my usual one since they are the only ones who had an early morning appointment. I was sent to labcorp for some blood work. That was on Tuesday it is Saturday now and it’s been 2 days that I’ve been trying to get in contact with the minute clinic for results. I’ve spent at least 45 mins each time I call and being out through to 100 different people who seem to not know how to perform the job well. I’ve had to make a labcorp account and view my results through them. THANK GOD everything is fine but if there was something wrong it would be nearly impossible to get through to any doctor. I WILL NOT be returning this or calling back. Please either hire more staff or better yet competent staff members.

Oh boy...where do I even begin??? The majority of techs in this particular cvs are just unpleasant, judgmental, and rude. When I come to pick up my prescriptions and repeatedly and consistently feel as though I am somehow disturbing you, or irritating you even though I am extremely patient, pleasant and friendly to you, that is a PROBLEM. I mean that’s just customer service 101.But I digress. The terrible customer service could be overlooked if it weren’t for the pharmacy techs who seem to have decided that THEY are more qualified than MY DOCTOR to make decisions about MY medications!!! YOU are not my doctor. YOU do not have a right to withhold my medications by making up new BS rules on the spot when I have produced a valid script for a medication I have been on for well over a decade. I mean who do you people think you are??? Seriously, get over yourselves.Another infuriating issue: not ordering medications when they know that they are out of it, tell you they will place an order and it will be here in 2 days.....then you go in only to find that oh super, it was never even ordered in the first place!!!! Fantastic. That’s another 2-3 days you must go without your medication because they don’t do what they say they are. How about we don’t allow our stock to run completely out before reordering?? Again, this is another persistent problem that happens every other time I go to get my prescriptions. Is it incompetence, ignorance, laziness? What I do know is that it is truly unacceptable to mess with people’s medication regimens in this way.And those of you techs guilty of the behaviors stated above, you know who you are. And you should probably consider a new profession seeing as you’re not very good at the one you currently have.

I like this CVS for the most part, and it's a super convenient location for me personally. However, 9/10 times I need to use the pharmacy I have an awful experience. The staff always look miserable and they're just not nice people. I can understand if you don't like your job, but that's no reason to be rude to me when I'm being patient, pleasant, and thank you for your help. Just now I not only watched two pharmacy staff give attitude to each other in front of the customers, and when I wished the woman that checked me out a nice day she huffed and gave me a dirty look. Unnecessary response and horrible practice in customer service. Really disappointing. If there is another pharmacy equidistant to where you are, I would suggest using it!

Used to be a good pharmacy, pharmacy people are very nasty and will trash talk customers right in front of you! Not to mention they are slow as Moses to do anything. There will be 5 or 6 of them just standing there talking amungs each other and I would be the only person in line and I'd still have to wait 10 minutes before anyone decides to help me even tho they've all seen me standing there. I've left CVS all together. I do NOT appreciate a lecture EVERY TIME I pick up my meds. I've been using my meds for 10 years, I know how to take my own damn medication. I also find it very inappropriate to be asked by them why I am taking said medicines for or asking me why I have so many prescription, is that any of your damn business? I don't think so! I also do NOT appreciate the pharmacist taking it upon themselves to withhold my DOCTOR prescribed medications because THEY think don't need the full amount my DOCTOR prescribed! And refuse to give the full amount and only give me 10 pills and then I have to go BACK to my doctor and get ANOTHER prescription!! So, I don't go to CVS anymore. I go to Hopewell Pharmacy on Horseshoe pike. Never had a problem there. The pharmacy staff members are ALL such a delight and I've never once been lectured, harassed, questioned, or had any of my medicine withheld from me for any reason.

Parkesburg was out of my prescription, they told me the could fill it Monday, but wouldnt have it till Tuesday. So I went to this CVS. I dropped it off Sunday, said they'd have it ready Monday. I get a call from the pharmacist, she says she can't fill it for at least 2-3 days. I said to her Parkesburg would fill it but they were out of my medication. She said "I'm not risking my license for you, I don't fill these till they are up for a day or two past the date". How can she be risking her license when your prescription can only be filled when your insurance company will allow it? She is not my doctor, I hate when pharmacists act like this. I picked my script up and went to Downingtown and they filled it. Awful funny not a word about them losing their license. My advice stay away from this pharmacy. Parkesburg CVS are super nice caring people.

This cvs has been my pharmacy for 15 years and always great service and no issues getting my meds filled but within the last 8 months I’ve had nothing but problems and headaches and was forced to go to another pharmacy because the new pharmacist refused to fill my script because my insurance would not cover it which it has not been covered for a year and I’ve paid cash for the past year and have has no issues until he came to work there ! I go in to pick up my script as I do every month and this guy says I can’t pay cash and of my insurance doesn’t authorize to cover it then he will not fill it and it’s cvs policy that I can not pay cash for my script if insurance won’t cover it and I told him how can he deny me my meds and say it’s cvs policy when I’ve been getting my script there for 4+ Years and never once have I had any problems until he arrived and if I don’t get my script and have my meds I could end up dead and I said I would File a law suit !! I call d corporate and asked if that was there policy and they said absolutely not and they’ll look into it and let me know , it’s now been 3 months and still have not heard back !! My insurance has switched my prescription plan from ppo to Caremark which is cvs and now all my scripts that all were covered and only $10 have now all been denied authorization and no longer covered but can’t understand how my medicines have been covered for 10 years and they all are for major health issues are now not covered because of cvs insurance ! If someone’s been on meds very long and they are needed it should be a law they have to cover them it’s not like they are new and not on them prior to new insurance but anyway pharmacist should not be allowed to cut off your meds because I have to pay out of pocket and corporate should follow up with complaints when they say they are going to

I have had a very good experience going here for many years for picking up prescriptions for the most part. The only issues I've had is confusion on which prescriptions to fill and when I get there, nothing is available for me to pick up. I then have to wait a few minutes to get it, but it's not a big deal. The people I've dealt with have been very nice.

Chrissy Kane the Pharmacy Manager goes well beyond her role. She was on hold with our insurance company for over a half hour. So pleasant and smart! Very impressed! Great experience!!!

Again no concern from staff toward customers. Walked in and as i headed to pick up my script, a couple were just walking away and the gate had just started to go down. They couldnt wait to hit the down button. The people behind the counter stood there and looked like what should i do. I said i was getting script before work. But they just said were closed, before the gate was even halfway down. One of them said we open at 9 am till 5 tomorrow. I said that doesnt help me i work night shift. I work midnight shift so im asleep then. I guess 2 minutes to give my meds was to much to handle. I was the only one there, Will be changing from cvs to walgreens. Done with the bad service.

I spent 10 mins waiting at the drive thru window without being waited on which seems to be a recurring problem at the Thorndale store. From now on I will set up home delivery and if that becomes a problem then it's back to Rite Aid which is much closer to me.

Dropped off a prescription on a Monday that needed a prior authorization. They said they’d contact my Dr. came back on Friday and the still hadn’t gotten the authorization. Called back the next Thursday and still no authorization so I called my Dr. they had no record of CVS contacting them for the authorization. Luckily I had samples but this was a complete waste of my time and I will never use CVS again. Can’t keep their word.

The drive thru line is ridiculously long. I’m currently on minute 33 waiting to pick up a script. Totally inefficient. And when I call to speak to an employee no one answers. Poorly run. Will be switching pharmacies.

I started using this CVS (Thorndale) since it's been open. Other CVS stores have been popping up like ragweed. I have moved my prescriptions to a new CVS because this particular CVS has gotten so bad. It is by far the worst CVS yet. The pharmacy is the slowest place. Don't use this CVS there are so many others close by to choose from cause the employees are faster and nicer than this CVS(Thorndale). Goodbye and good rid to bad rubbish.
