HOOKED. this store is so affordable and has everything you could need for cute indoor and outdoor plant spaces. my new rescue plant has already sprouted a brand new leaf despite costing under $5. i’m excited to keep returning as we head into spring 🌱

What a complete surprise to venture in to this unassuming place and discover the best gift shop, better than any museum gift shop I’ve ever seen! Total bonus! Super sanitary measures starting with washing your hands upon entering the gift shop. Impressed! Great staff and extensive selection of plants and trees, trees, trees! Found myself an awesome 10-year old Okame Cherry Blossom tree and Josh (alias “Thor”) with a sledgehammer planted that baby in my backyard. Even had a truck named “Zeus.” What a trip! Thanked me for the opportunity to plant such a great tree! Again, a great experience all around. Relatively easy access (a few steps inside).

I'd like to thank the employee who helped me today(Sunday February 25th) at the upper level cash register. I didn't catch her name but she had brown curly hair, cool glasses, maybe 60ish?She helped me research care information for a plant that I was considering as a gift. She then took the time to wrap it beautifully in foil tied with twine making it look special (not just the usual slap some foil on the pot& call it a day).She was awesome! Thank you!

Wow…Riverview is so unique and amazing!!! This is my absolute go-to place when I need a gift for someone and I have no idea what to get them!!! From my one yr old god daughter to my 76 yr old father and anyone in between…my favorite time of year to go is for Christmas gifts for my staff!!! It’s a one stop shopping trip for 15 different personalities!!!! Highly recommend Riverview!!!!

I've used Riverview many times over the years for trees and shrubs to gifts from their Gift Center. My wife has also participated in some of their workshops and has really enjoyed them. The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and echos the owner's concern for their customers.

All the women in my family found beautiful flowers to purchase at this location. They also sell coy fish and a whole bunch of other garden pond items. My family always enjoys stopping here to shop for plants.

Riverview closes and opens our pond every year and Josh does an excellent job! Great communication, arrives as scheduled and works hard to get the job done. It's a very reasonable service and I highly recommend them.

My 17 year old daughter took my five year old daughter here to buy gifts for their mom. The lady working rudely stared at my daughter the entire time they were shopping. After they purchased gifts, the woman proceeded to follow them into the parking lot after they exited the store, continuing to stare.Nice products and store, but the representatives of this establishment seem to lack the knowledge that customers are the base of any business. That is no way to treat a paying customer.

One of my favorite local businesses for plants and gifts! I'm always taken aback by how fresh their inventory is with new gift ideas popping into my head as soon as I enter the store. Riverview staff has always been friendly, helpful, and informative! I also appreciate that they've been enforcing the mask mandate to keep shoppers and staff safe & healthy allowing me to spend more time than expected to browse and take in the beautiful green plants during a gloomy winter. I value businesses like Riverview over big box stores and hope you do too!

Riverview Nursery has been my go to place for unique gifts and plants for years. When the pandemic hit I was very happy with the curbside delivery that they offered. I was still able to fill my flowerbeds with my favorites that I was easily able to order online. When they reopened they provided a hand washing station, require social distancing and require mask wearing as mandated by the state. It allowed their customers to return to the store knowing that they had concern for my health but also for their employees. Because of the measures they put in place it became my go to place to get out of the house and fill my house with unique plants that found their new home in decorative pots.Thank you Riverview and staff for doing your part in helping keep the community safe.

They have a great selection of plants available. I bought 2 wisteria last year, both are still doing great this year. Hoping to use them for pond plants this year!In regards to requiring masks, they are a private business and can enforce it if they so choose. Others can then choose to shop there or not. IMO, the plants and selection are worth it.

Recently had a landscape project installed. The crew was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better job. They built a low wall, installed additional plants, transplanted a japanese red maple, divided and transplanted a large Empress Wu hosta. Paul and his crew were great to work with. Would hire them again.

River view nursery is amazing.Diane, Alaina and Aleks are professional and great to work withWhen I was getting married they did my bridal bouquets etc. and my center pieces for the reception. Love their energy and their patience.Whenever I am back in berks I like to stop in and look at all the fun gifts in the shop.I can’t keep plants alive to safe my life but Diane keeps answering my questions through it all and even though I live in Virginia now!

Riverview has a very friendly helpful staff. This was our first visit and they had everything we were looking for. Shrubs, lots of running water, fountains and accessories. Yard topiary stuff. They also have craft classes for children and adults. It looks like an excellent place to buy interesting gifts. We will definitely be spending time and money here.

Staff was rude. Over priced.Zero respect for people who are not able to wear a face masks even when stated having a medical exemption. they said the governor's going around and taking away business licenses if they find anyone without a mask.UPDATE: a review is not a punishment...it is a description of our experience in your store. We hear you loud and clear where your priorities are...hence the review. Giving others the heads up if they are not able to wear a mask.

One of my absolute favorite places to go in Berks County... not just for plants, but to explore and learn! Their products are always unique, their plants are healthy and beautiful, and I know that anything I plant from Riverview will thrive... or they'll be able to tell me why it might not be thriving. I love that at Christmas I can find the German smokers I love, and my budding teenage horticulturist can satisfy her plant geek. When spotted lanternflies first came to the area, Riverview was leading the community in sharing prevention methods and education. They are not just a business, they're a family and a community, and I love knowing that their plants surround my home and farm!

I had landscaping done by you in September at a cost of about $4000.00 which I am very happy with so I called a get an estimate to install a pondless waterfall or something similar. A gentleman came and looked at what I wanted and said he would send me an estimate in a few day. Well two weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything so I called to check and was told she would tell the gentleman to get in touch with me. Another week has gone by with not reply. This isn't exactly a good way to treat prior customers and be assured that I will not be recommending you to anyone in the future.

Riverview Tree & Landscape is a must visit! They have a wonderful selection of trees, shrubs and flowering plants as you would expect. But the really cool thing is that they also have so much more than just those things! They have fish and do pond set ups. They have an entire birdhouse and feed area for gifts and your own back yard. They carry a full assortment of indoor and outdoor garden containers and fairy garden accessories. They have a pet area with interesting pet toys. They carry a full line of Christmas trees both live and artificial and more bulbs and lights than you can count! They also have a great selection of home décor items and handmade jewelry! You can shop for everyone on your list throughout the year. One stop does it all. So, I say...check it out!

This business is run by very nasty people. Governor wolf made it clear you no longer need to wear a mask. I was there today with the intent of spending a few thousands dollars. After shopping for 10 minutes some lady came barreling in thru the side door and told me I need to wear a mask. I reminded her of the new rules and she said we don't follow the governor were a private business and still require masks. I simply set my stuff down and left. I don't need to be told how to shop, and definitely don't need a mask. If your mask works, why do I need one? Stop following the msm and lining up like sheep to do as your told. I then left a Facebook review and hours later they started deleting comments and turned off reviews. Nothing says your wrong like running from the problem. I was also harassed about my Facebook profile and doxxed for posting my review. I will never spend a dime in that place again. And neither will 85,000 other people. As a small business you think you'd value customers but this place clearly only values what they want.

So glad to see a business following simple covid mitigation efforts! You care about your customers and it shows. What good are gorgeous flowers if you can’t smell them when you lose your loss of smell if you get Covid or worse yet, end up in the percentage that doesn’t make it... Unexpected and spontaneous stop on our way to Fleetwood. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great selection of outdoor statues and so much to look at indoors. They are even funny friendly!
