My girlfriend and I brought our dogs because they claim they’re pet friendly. They’re Beagels so they aren’t intimidating. One of our dogs barked because she saw another dog. I was then told I had to leave because my dog barked. I said no I’m not doing that. Eventually I did leave to avoid confrontation. I think this is absolutely ridiculous that myself and my dog get kicked out because she barked. That’s what dogs do. Sometimes they bark. Do they kick children out when they make too much noise? I won’t be back. I was looking to get a new wardrobe but now it definitely wont be at Ross in Pittsburgh Mills.

I found an Altec Lansing "Fury" wireless blu-tooth speaker for only $19.99, and it's usually priced at $50.00 which is still less than I paid for a smaller model at one of their competitors. Also, this was about 1:15 pm, the checkout staff were on point all the way with quite a line to deal with at that. That simple stuff is what made America great and we can do it again if WE are willing.

This is one of my favorite stores for casual clothes. Sometimes colder weather clothes also. I stopped in looking for a new pair of runners ( tennis shoe ) and ended up finding some wonderful Under Armor shirts at a great price. I looked around a bit and was pleased that they are well stocked. I recommend shopping here for your children's back to school clothes and backpacks they look to have a good selection.

I like it. Never know what you'll find. Not just clothes....toys, household decor, pet and art supplies too. I always get a lot of Xmas shopping done here! Bought my cats a sofa here for $10...they near ate the thing, but now I haven't seen any more. Please, please Ross...I'm in dire need of a new cat sofa.

The cashier, Lori, is so rude.“Put your stuff up on the counter!!!!!” Like I’m a farm animal going to its pen!They literally don’t even let you know your transaction is over! She started ringing up the next person in line. (which was my mother.. who also saw the rudeness)The cashier didn’t say thank you.. or have a great day...nothing!! I was just standing there and said, “am I all done?!” They glared at me and pointed at my receipt.. STILL IN THE PRINTER! (Like I was supposed to know!)As that being my last interaction as I’m leaving the store.. it really makes me not want to ever come back to this location!Every employee in the store looked extremely miserable to even be in the store. I had three employee interactions.Either Ross is awful to work for.. or the employees are miserable people.

I went in looking for something specific. I know you can have really good luck or not. Today, I did not. The selection was great. I just couldn't find what I needed. There was an awesome pair of Guess shoes size 8.5 they are pretty!!

Ross is always a great store they have their departments separated so you so can easily look in one particular section if your trying to be fast and need a certain item you can head right to that section and get what you need. I love that in each section there is always clearance items to purchase and I love getting items cheaper. You xan get very nice items, current fashion trends and some great shoes that make your kids look nice at a really affordable price. The clothing for children is adorable and also priced reasonably. I love buying my daughters hair bows there and my favorite purses are Guess brand. I usually get a new purse and matching wallet for mothers day and again it's reasonably priced and looks very fashionable and elegant. I love the housewares section I recently got a huge are rug for an amazing price and I love their to go coffee cups. There's a section for everyone and I love this store ch3cking out is always easy and cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. I have to say everytime I got to Ross I have a great shopping experience I feel good about the items I pur have and I always feel I got a good value for my money which makes me go home very happy! I highly recommend taking a trip here to look around!

My wife loves this place! I've been in there a few times. They have some pretty decent men's sports wear and She has found some deep decent work boots for me there as well.. I'll add that because it is almost they will be staying open until midnight each night. If I remember correctly from last year, they remain open until midnight Christmas Eve Christmas Eve. Because of Covid-19, I'm not sure if that fact still stands. Convenient, if it still does.

I enjoy shopping at this store. I usually can find what I need at a reasonable price. The selection today was so much better than a few weeks ago. I can say also that the staff is very good to the customers. Any questions I needed answers to were well received and totally answered.

I normally find cute shoes and and shirts, not so lucky today .A lot of items have been picked over it is already the end of summer season. I did notice they had a lot of cute furniture items. The fitting rooms had a lot of hooks missing, I had to go into several rooms before I could find one that was suitable to hang up clothes. Staff is always friendly.

The ladies I encountered while shopping here (at the dressing rooms and at the front registers) were very, very friendly and helpful. We found some really nice back to school clothes for my 14 yr old. Awesome shopping day!

I was surprised at all of the items they had brought in for the Holiday Season. I found so many things for my grandkids and mom-in-law for Christmas!! I could have spent several more hours and several hundred dollars! Lol. The clothes were nice and although sold separately, were able to find the sets easily. The clerk even helped us with our items outside to our car.

I like that Ross has a selection of products large enough to make shopping there worth my time. They've got some name brand things as well as some off brand clothing and items. This store is well kept and many if not all of the associates are helpful and kind.

The workers at the Tarentum location need customer appreciation and customer service classes. The only 1 that was helpful was the store manager. The cashier I had was older with short blonde hair and refused to make eye contact even though I was talking to her. I wished her a good Holiday and she still didn't acknowledge me. She wasnt alone the 2 workers I approached were equally as bad. I guess being short employees might be better than a very bad employee.

I went in looking for a 👗 dress. For all I knew, that was all they sold there . It was my first time in there. I was delighted to find thick cotten bath towels for 6.99. You would pay Bed Bath and Beyond 20.00 for towels like those. They have many items at bargain prices and the merchandise is good quality.

Updated review as of June 2022:The positive-Ross, TJ Max,&Marshall's... ladies you can't go wrong w/shopping in any three of these stores. Ross is still the ONLY ONE THO OUT OF THOSE 3 OF WHICH IS STAYING SUPER SMART, &NOT PARTICIPATING IN ONLINE SHOPPING. So many retailers lose so so badly when they open that can of worms. Plus...your stuff is "special to your store"& your customers know this. If u go to 4 different Ross stores in one day...you will see they all get oh I'd say 70 to 80%different merchandise depending on what season your in and how much (of one thing) the warehouse ends up getting...you very rarely see the exact same stuff at every store. They may all get a Ralph Lauren cardigan for example but one store may get all red ones and the next store may get all purple for example&so on. So hats off to Ross for keeping the online shopping at bay. I truly believe that is what will keep this co afloat for awhile.The negative- let me say I know everyone is paying an arm &a leg for everything. From fuel to yogurt. I get it. I however was in a Ross today which I haven't been in awhile. I have heard in the past that ppl have stayed true to Ross bc they're "so decently priced even compared to tj max&Marshall's". For example...when look at leggings at all three stores (&I'm talking about plain black nothing on them no fancy materials) about 6 mo ago or less at Ross they were $6.99-$9.99. This is for women's sizing. Now the little tiny jr tank tops that are also plain ticketed before at $3.99-$5.99 are $6.99&above. Now I did say in my previous review that if Ross didn't start doing something about their external theft all the prices would skyrocket in no time. Or the home office, regional mgr (or whomever is in charge of the distribution of payroll per store) needs to give them more payroll. It's way cheaper to pay an extra body to stand in the front and help out the mgr on duty and keep an eye on ppl coming and going. If they're young and pt and made sat $11 a day (that is a guess btw) and worked 6 to 7 hrs even...that would be SO SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN LOSING THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS JUST ON ONE WKEND AT TIMES. I've been there when ppl pop wheelies with those carts with the long tall poles on them so u cant take them outside &just casually walk out, screamers on the shoes going mad making piercing noise and lights flashing on the sensors...and they're taught not to even call the police. Not that to many of the cops care about doing shopping paperwork. I was told that buy a cop himself when the mills was first opening. He said, "it's to lengthy and not worth it". So maybe, Ross isn't THAT wrong by teaching their employees to not bring the cops into it. I mean if u call them and they come 20min afterwards...what is the point?!? Which is what I've seen happen alot at that location in all the stores up there. U can tell being up in that tiny area enabled those cops to get soft. But not when it comes to giving tickets. That is where all the money adds up for the municipality and city and that is what they care about. That is also why I know, for a fact (without saying why I do) that they mainly try to ticket middle aged ppl that are going 5 or less than 10 miles over the speed limit. Bc they know they have good jobs&will just pay the ticket &fine with no argument. Which is actually genius. If Ross doesn't stop watching their employees and watching their customers MORE FOR EXTERNAL than internal. And if they must watch their own employees so so much more but let regular customers leave with thousands of dollars in merchandise over and over...what does that say about their own judgment; &who in the "higher ranks" of Ross, that makes those decisions? It's sad actually. U should trust your employees and feel good about who you hire. No matter how high or low you are (in position or title) at your company, u should feel good about every new person onboarding.

Honestly, 2.5 stars. Moving the dressing rooms to the middle of the store is just awkward. I find myself Less tempted to buy from here each time I stop in. I've been a loyal Ross shopper for over 20 years, but lately I just drive on by.
