The words ‘caring’, ‘kind’, and ‘trustworthy’ are seldom associated with people today, yet those accolades came forth following a bad car accident I was in a year ago.That big white dog is Rocky, my best bud and protector. Rocky went everywhere with me, which is how this story started. On my way home the car brakes failed. Rocky in the back seat at impact miraculously hadn’t sailed through the windshield. My right thigh bone was broken in half. The local volunteer fire department [Josh & Sarah] arrived before the police or firetrucks. I was in severe pain, car totaled, door crushed, and smoke suddenly stung my eyes and nostrils. Shock turned into panic because if this car burst into flames – Rocky was going to burn alive in this car with me!I shouted out my window: “Please, somebody save my dog!”Poor Rocky sensed I was injured and instinctively went into ‘protect mode,’ leaping at anyone approaching the car. Fire volunteer Josh courageously dragged Rocky out of the wreckage and took him into his own home instead of a kennel. I was removed from the car and sent to the trauma unit at a hospital for surgery, then onto rehabilitation.7 long weeks I trusted them, and in all the years I spent training Rocky. I was updated by Sarah and saw how Rocky slowly blended into their routine and treated like a family pet. I love them all dearly for what they did and cannot express enough how grateful I was for their care, kindness and love they showed to Rocky – and me.It was a long haul, but Finally, it was time to go home. The reunion with Rocky was joyful and ecstatic. My poufy, snow-white, and fluffy Rocky came home to me spanking clean, healthy, and happy. I learned that Tara’s Spoiled Rotten Pet Salon had groomed Rocky. I was told that once Tara heard WHY Rocky was being fostered by Sarah and Josh, she offered to do the job free of charge. Nobody does that!That immense generosity, compassion and reaction Tara exhibited over Rocky’s fate fully penetrated my psyche. I am overwhelmed and humbled by a wave of gratitude. This is how I know Tara is a professional who truly loves animals. That simple act of kindness speaks volumes. It defines how she perceives her personal space in life. Although Tara and I haven’t officially spoken yet, I can only tell you about the end result ---Rocky looked and smelled great…. completely huggable!I realized Tara had a big job physically in handling Rocky, if not a psychological challenge too! Only a pro would tackle that sort of deed because most groomers refuse German Shepherds. It’s risky handling ANY animal without full knowledge of its history, and this breed has a bad reputation if not properly trained. All I can say is that it takes really big chops, a kind heart, and a deep compassion with commitment to forge ahead in that scenario. It’s daunting handling a large, strange dog, and Rocky’s a big and strong dog. So, I hope Rocky behaved gentlemanly!I cannot thank Tara enough for her kind gesture and grooming Rocky. I present this story as a key point of consideration for future customers. This lady genuinely cares about animals and will undertake the task as if your dog is her own. It’s not just a business to Tara, it’s a way of life that comes naturally.As for potential clients, anyone entrusting their beloved pet to a stranger takes a leap of faith. I can assure you I understand that mindset completely. Being responsible pet parents, we need to feel confident the person handling our ‘four-legged kids’ is attentive and kind. Leaving your pet even for one hour can cause angst. It is an important decision. So, if you are seeking an excellent grooming experience beyond outward aesthetics, then look no further. Drop any qualms or consternations. That’s why I highly recommend Tara’s Spoiled Rotten Pet Salon. The owner and staff are truly into the customers! They are treated as if they are the best and most prized pet to them. They come out of the salon looking magnificent and feeling great (ok. I’m not the puppy whisperer) and one can tell just by looking at them that they had a grand time with the staff! Truly are made for the work they do and the dedication to their clients are woof! Woof! Woof! Not a growl to be heard only happy tail wagging. My little Mr. Buttons just loves the staff. One thing for the owner: you are wonderful and remember, my puppy will always be in your hands. He is adorable now but you and the staff truly make him gorgeous and amazingly clean. Tara was terrific!!!! My wife and I had just gotten a rehomed rescue neglected shih Tzu. We took him to Tara's spoiled rotten pets to have his first groom in years.Unfortunately, he was not cooperative. Very aggressive. Very scared.The ladies were terrific with him but it was just not to be. Would highly recommend this groomer!Sorry it didn't work out

Tara and her crew were very friendly, clearly pet lovers and provided an excellent service. One of the few pet places in the area that take large dogs. We will definitely be regulars going forwards.

Absolutely love this place. The owner treats people like family and takes pride in her work. She has been grooming him since he was allowed to go to the groomers. Basically a puppy. Over two years he has been going to this groomer. They have taken such good care of him and he has grown to love them. He expects his groom and by no one else. Milo says thank you. He also ready for his next photo opt. I would definitely recommend. Go now, what are you waiting for.

I have two long haired 2-year dachshunds. I love their long hair and scruff but they’re very active and water loving. Their fur began clumping, and being a difficult breed, I couldn’t get them out before they were too close to the skin. I was weary about grooming just because you never know, but after seeing reviews and talking to the owner, I had a gut feeling this was the place. Being dachshunds, they can be aggressive to strangers and will let you know if they don’t like what you’re doing. Well, the way our groomer, Sarah handled them must have been the magic way. They came home without a nick or scratch on them, all clumps and whatnot are gone, fully groomed and as happy as you can imagine - no traumatization or odd behavior whatsoever. Clearly I could see they were treated and handled exceptionally the entire visit. I’m beyond happy and relieved, and happy I was even able to get in this place. This is definitely the groomer you want to see your pets.

I took my Dachshund, Peanut to Tara's Spoiled Rotten Pet Salon for his first grooming! The staff was very friendly! I am happy to report that 5* was not enough Peanut was difficult to handle! However, the staff handled him well! We were very satisfied with the results! They filed his nails, and trimmed his fur! Peanut was very happy with the results! We will return in the future!

I'll never go there again! 3 weeks ago I brought my 3 month old puppy (an Eskipoo, so I wanted him to get used to groom at an early age) there for his first grooming experience. When I returned to pick him up I was told he was horrible, screaming and biting, and if I didn't get a handle on him I "could have a vicious dog someday". She also informed me she "took him by the scruff of the neck and did a puppy shake on him", "like mother dogs do". My puppy had already completed a 6 week AKC puppy training course with me by that point, so I was ALREADY GETTING A HANDLE ON HIM! All she needed to do was call me if she couldn't handle him, I would have gladly picked him up and still paid her for trying! Instead my new puppy had his first grooming experience turn out to be a nightmare. I left there in tears.I don't understand your rationale for doing a "puppy shake", as you described that you did, to discipline my 3 month old puppy! For God sake it was his first time at the groomer! He had never experienced the table, smell, tools and sounds before! Of course he was afraid! If he bit out of fear, you should have stopped the groom immediately and contacted me! He was a 9 pound 3 month old puppy at the time! He had already achieved his AKC Puppy Star by the time he went to you and had NO signs of aggression!Wylie has been getting groomed by Melanie Clark at Pawsitively Naturals ever since his first traumatic groom! Thank her for having a soft hand and understanding of a puppy's first time grooming! The picture below is how Wylie is now, 2.5yrs later! Can't say enough about Sarah's grooming skills with our girl Minnie. Believe it or not, she really looks forward to getting her nails done by Sarah and goes crazy when we walk in the door. Everyone at the salon are pet focused people and it shows each and every time. Minnie has been going there for over 2 years now and I would never take her anywhere else!

My cat was having a hard time grooming himself (he’s a domestic long hair). Despite the fact that we were brushing him and trying to help him manage, he was still coughing up hairballs. I have been looking for a new groomer for my 8 year old Pomapoo. A friend of mine had her fur baby groomed by Toni and was thrilled with the outcome.Last night I emailed Toni with the hope of getting a response sometime today. Toni actually replied within minutes. I told her I was in need of a good groomer and asked how far in advance I needed to book an appointment. I also told her that I was off Saturday if she had any openings. She replied right away and said she could take him at 1pm!! I was thrilled!I brought my dog in a little early. The salon was CLEAN, organized, no chaos whatsoever. NO CAGES!! I felt very comfortable immediately.When I picked up my little boy, he looked THE BEST I have ever seen!! Spotless, smelled so clean and fresh, and seemed so content!!I booked my next appointment before I left!!Thank you Toni!!! Call the place never been there before. They have a normal every Saturday clip nails day and that's what my pup needed. Friendly staff the pups that were there getting groomed look very happy and my pup gave them not even a squall while they did her nails very professional. I will definitely bring her back when it's time to get her groomed completely

I’ve been bringing my golden doodle here for a few years now and they always do a good job. The price has actually gone down since my last visit which I can’t complain about and the service was still great. They care about their customers and the customers pets. They even waiting patiently as I was running late to pick up my dog. Staff are all very friendly and the groomers do great work despite my dogs difficult hair type.

Ava never looked so beautiful. What normally takes 4 hours took an hour and a half. Which means they don't overbook and Gave ava all their attention. Mountain mutts canceled and never responded back so it was 4 months since the last groom. Thank you Toni! Lifelong customers here. Ava even had a flower placed on her collar

This place is wonderful! My german shepherd is terrified of getting his nails clipped after a bad experience at a local petsmart. The owner Toni was so friendly and helpful. You can tell she really has a passion for what she does. They were very patient with my pup and took their time. It was the calmest my dog has ever been while getting his nails done. Will definitely be coming back with my other pups!

I am so happy i found Toni. My cats and my dog are my babies. Toni and her staff take the best care of them. This doggie spa was amazing. We came in for the holidays from Texas and our pup needed a bath badly! They were fully booked of course just like the other 3 places we called. However, they made a huge effort and got our pup in that day! I was not expecting much since it was so last minute, but he came out looking like a million bucks! I do not know what shampoo they used but he smelled amazing for weeks! Not to mentioned they spoiled and loved my dog!l the entire time. Thank you so much for everything.

Terrific grooming services for our Persian princess, Lyla! The owners are very friendly and professional. The shop is meticulously clean! After many phone calls to other groomers who could not accommodate us, we found Spoiled Rotten in the on-line yellow pages. They called me back within ten minutes after leaving a message, & was able to schedule an appointment the next day. Toni did a terrific job on our cat, who has a very thick coat. I am getting ready to set our second appointment with Toni & Stan of Spoiled Rotten Pet Salon. Our Miss Lily was putty in Toni's hands. She can be a bit cantankerous as she is a very self-possessed little girl who came to us as a stray. She fairly has her own way and doesn't take to combing or brushing but for a short while. She still has a bit of the wild thing going on, but Toni has the magic that put our little missy at ease and did an amazing job grooming her as we requested. We were extremely happy with the results and so was Lily! You can't go wrong bringing your furry pals to this very friendly and organized, clean salon!

Brought our springer in about a wk ago and the people seemed nice, was quoted 50 over the phone for a full groom. I got a call back and the gentleman said 60. Okay,no problem....go to pick her up she looked good to me. I get the bill and it’s $80. Okay don’t say anything whatever. Get home and really look at the job and her ears were different lengths... okay, again whatever. I Happened to look at her nails yesterday and noticed they didn’t cut them. On to the next!
