Got a baby Savannah Monitor from Johnny, he took time and patience with my 12 year old autistic son and helped pick out the perfect baby. I will only shop here, Johnny and Mo are professional, knowledgeable and honest. I found with animals in particular reptiles going to a mom and pop shop is the only way to go, I can’t go into a large big box stores and get absolutely no viable information from a 17 year old kid that’s only experienced in bagging crickets. Spend your money here and get what you paid for by people who know their stuff.

First time here and I'm in love with the owners. Very very nice! And their animals are all so happy and healthy. Got my 9 yr old his first pet hamster and the cutest ham ever. And HAND RASIED!!!!!

This store is great overall, the owners are knowledgeable about the animals they sell and much more. I have been going to the store for years whenever I’m around there. The last pet I bought recently was a two-month-old Syrian Teddy Bear Hamster 🐹 in perfect healthy condition. A+++

I love coming to this place. Been coming here since I moved to PA in 2017. They have a variety of reptiles and supplies. Tons of live rats, mice and insects whether you buy them as feed or pets. Husband wife shop. Very friendly. Very knowledgeable.

After seeing stellar reviews I decided to drop by and what I saw were things in pretty gross conditions. Animals being kept in extremely cramped enclosures. A lot of enclosures looked extremely filthy. There is a very pungent smell as soon as you enter the store and you would think its the rodents they sell and you would be half right. The reptile enclosures smell so bad. Several bearded dragons glass surfing so badly. A gator placed in a 10-20gallon tank with barely any water. No filtration. Nothing. Same for turtles. A frog that appeared super sick.

Called ahead to inquire abt an animal and reserved it. When I arrived to pick it up the staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had as well as gave us advice to keep him happy and healthy.

I love going there! The wife and husband are amazing so helpful even when we asked lot of questions he answered them for me and helped me learn a great deal about my snakes! As for the wife I'm adopting her as my new mom she's so nice and helps me instantly. We go there at least once a month for soft fur rats and my kids love going too! It is also the cheapest place I have gone to for my supplies and rats! If I could give a 10 star I would!

We just purchased our first ball python from this shop today. after wasting our time at Petco and getting little to no help and actually almost being bit by one of the ball pythons there. We decided to check this place out down the road. best decision ever made. you can tell all of the pets are well cared for while waiting for their forever homes. The little guy we picked out is super friendly. you can tell they are handled daily because he is sooooo comfortable being held and shows zero signs of aggressive behavior. the owners are both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. they definitely know their stuff. all in all one of the best experience be ever had in a pet shop. looking forward to the next 20+ years with our new baby BP!

I've seen "bad" pet stores and I've seen BAD pet stores. This place ranks up there with the absolute worse! Animals crawling on top of one another in tiny tanks...the mice tank was filthy with many mice having bad bite wounds from overcrowding. I left without buying. They had tortoises in horse water tubs without proper moisture and without WATER. It's disgusting. It smells horrible. Yes where there's animals...there's smells. But this is disgusting. The pictures on their page proves and says it all..... They are unprofessional. I really wish people would open their eyes. Just because someone "owns" a pet shop doesn't mean they are knowledgeable or care about the animals. For example....they had one of their sulcata tortoises escape and was lost roaming the area. So many things could have happened to that tortoise...from getting attacked by a wild animal to hit by a car. Had they really KNOWN about these animals and provided a proper enclosure....this wouldn't have happen. This was beyond an "accident"....it was negligence. For many....like this one appears to be....many are in it for the money. Please do yourself a favor and look to a reptile rescue for surrending your reptiles and even adopting. You think Petsmart and Petco are bad?Just stay away from them please.I'm sure they are going to try and dispute....obviously......and defend themselves. If you go there......LOOK. Look at the clutter, lack of fresh air/filtered air. LOOK at the fire hazard wiring and overloaded outlets. It's so bad. So bad.No excuse for filthy and overcrowding. Need help? Then HIRE HELP. Animals should NEVER suffer for human ignorance or greed.

I love supporting local businesses. I always buy from them even though it's a little pricey. But, I can"t stand the smell of ammonia due to pee off the rodents that they sell. It burns though my nose like acid. I feel sorry for the other animals that actually reside in the place has to endure the smell. Other wise the people are very helpful and knowledgeable on certain things. Looking forward to stop by one more time to see if the place has improved.

He was funny and very kind. Animals are well taken care of here more than what I feel PetSmart does for their animals. Have to see it an buy for him to see for yourself.

They have a lot of amazing animals and you can tell they know what they are doing when it comes to them. The owners are super nice and outgoing, and always strike up a conversation. Definitely not just a "I'm just here to sell as much as I can, as fast as I can, regardless of health" type pet store..They even do boarding for reptiles and such and then you know they are being properly taken care of..Highly recommend!

I’ve been wanting to go this shop for a while as my grandmother always went in. So me and my boyfriend decided to go in, wanting a turtle than the teddy bear hamsters caught our eyes! We got two and we love them. They are so cuddly and friendly. This place is very neat and set up great. The animals are all chunky and all taken care of! The owner is very nice as well. Thank you for your business, will definitely be back 🙂🐹
