I absolutely love this store. The employees are always so helpful and kind. They aren't expensive and have a mix of everything. I am not from Tamaqua, but when I am in Tamaqua visiting my girlfriend I shop here. They also have a lot of great premade hot foods.

It's the people who make this particular store worth going to. It's very obvious the store manager is able to run the store the way it's supposed to be. It's very organized and clean and the associates are a great group of people. I enjoy shopping there , the prices are a little higher,unless it's a good sale. The manager and employees don't control that. Jolene, who works in produce goes out of her way to help me. Even if it's not her department, ( employees at another local business which is well known) say, its not my department and that is frustrating ... Not all but alot. The corporate people definitely need to know that because of the store manager doing his job the right way and the great customer service, and Jolene, I will pay the extra bucks and shop here.

Not a fan of boyers because once in awhile ya get the junkies etc blocking entrance or asking for money,or God forbid you goto wine and spirits or beer store ya have teenagers asking if they can have some of your stuff or if they give you money can u pick them up something.... don't get me wrong it's gotten much better but the free wifi has to go,and if it ain't free then ya need to tell employees to stop giving passwords to people who sit on ground and nothing wrong w them except lazyitis for the love of God they don't work but have top of the line lap tops phones pads etc etc etc.... YA NEED TO HIRE SECURITY GUYS AND I BET BUSINESS WILL IMPEOVE EVEN MORE,AND WHEN I SAY SECURITY I MEAN A REPUTABLE SECURITY COMPANY NOT A FLY BY NIGHT ONE THAT WILL END UP BEING FRIENDS W THE MOOCHERS BY THE END OF THE WEEK!!

Great little supermarket with an excellent bakery. Frozen plant-based food choices choices aren't so good, but I keep looking and hoping. And sometimes they carry items I want others don't have. I especially love the Huntsinger Farms potatoes and the Mrs. Smith's pies. I'm willing to pay a bit extra to buy here instead of the superstore when they both have what I'm looking for, though I often have to go to both anyway.

Butcher brought out 3 racks of ribs when there was none on the shelves, really nice tender ribs with my homemade BBQ sauce 😋

For some reason everything I got there the other day sucked potato salad was totally tasteless macaroni salad tasteless egg salad sandwich saggy just all fell a part after a bite trying to reap through the lattes leafs they put in it ended throwing it all out because it seemed all that food was prepared for animals and not with quality for people it amazes me what people really consume now a days.

Great store, very resourceful and helpful employees. Thanks to Peyton getting my Swiss lemonade and the ladies that assisted me at check out, I love seeing employees who are cheerful and enjoy what they do. Kept a pleasant smile assisting customers. I ordered smash cake for my son and they messed up the cake. I asked Mickey mouse head on middle of the cake in black and his name underneath with whipped cream icing. Well she draw a line trying to look like a Mickey's ear but it was hard to tell n she didn't even filled out the inside of it also she forgot to write his name. Bakery didn't have alphabet stencil to do omg. We asked them to just write on it n fill the inside the ear so at least wi looks like a Mickey mouse head. Horrible n they gave me buttercream icing oh wow. By the way when I went back and ask to fix it I found that out actually manager did this. I guess Ill just call corporate to complain. 😤😡

First time there and I was really surprised.I knew that the place was a little small so yes it's a little tighter in the isles but they have decent inventory. Prices are good for some things and not for others. The vegetables looked very good. They had an item that I was looking for a very long time and nobody else had it. That's my secret.

Its nice that the booze story is in the same building/separate wing.Prices are slightly higher than bigger name stores, but will have things the bigger stores dont have.

I worked here for 4 and a half years. This was my very first job and although customer service can be hard at times, I really enjoyed the job and my fellow teammates. This job helped me mature as well. I definitely recommend working here, especially for the younger generation.
