Goodwill sends another company to collect your things. You have to be mindful of the things you send because the company they send doesn't know everything, and what goodwill prices are the company that comes and get your stuff will have to price it differently. What happened to goodwill coming to get the stuff on their own like you ask them to. Isn't that the reason why you get in contact with them in the first place????? Goodwill is getting over. So people please be mindful when you call for things to be moved

The clothing, shoes, and accessories are neatly displayed and in great quantities but the housewares are quite sparse and way overpriced. Visiting here used to be so much fun. I stop by from time to time hoping to see change but my experience is always the same; the pricing is unreasonable and the restroom facility is filthy.

Whether you're looking for a brand name clothing, furniture, toys, puzzles, games, books, shoes to vintage decor. This Goodwill always has plenty of options. The store is always organized. Great customer service. Wonderful prices. And you can always find something. Always updating stock. And also this is a drop off location if you are cleaning out your home.

I used to go here often but I the prices are getting out of hand. A kitchen table today was $149 with h no chairs. Who is pricing this stuff? Basing it on random eBay prices?I picked up something that had tags for $12.99 new and it was marked $9.99? Seems to be the trend here. Last week I picked up a (used) oil & vinegar white ceramic matching set which each priced differently for each piece- and when I questioned that at the register - the manager came up and said I would have to pay the higher price and infered I switched the tags. Nope. Told her forget it. Why would anyone switch one tag and not the other to save $2.99? Ridiculous. Insulting. No one is going to keep coming back if that is how you run this place. They need to get a grip and stop treating those who shop here like they are shopping at Sacs 5th Ave and that their stuff is precious gold. It's Goodwill, please. Let's see some goodwill.

Goodwill is getting out of control For you guys to be selling a Christmas tree for $299 , In my opinion that's ridiculous you get the stuff for free to help the community. At a goodwill a tree that have been used over and over Maybe Should be selling for Between $50 to $100. In my opinion In my opinion.

The bathrooms have been inaccessible for the disabled since 2021. Door open button is broken, there is no handle to close the stal, I have been trapped in the bathroom awaiting a strangers help. No attempts have been made to remedy this barrier that I face in the community, as Goodwills mission statement says is its goal. I have hurt myself and bled due to these barriers which prevent me from enjoying a short trip out. I have made calls, written emails and spoken with Goodwill team members in regards to fixing the situation and been run in circles. Goodwill industries has cared only about maximizing profits with pricing being over the previous price tag (which was a lower price) and shelving broken items. A "non profit" that has free labor and special tax breaks as well as free merchandise should be able to provide what they advertise. The staff is friendly and underappreciated, this is the sad truth. All I can ask of the community is to donate elsewhere, directly to those who need the items and cannot afford them.- Thank You For Readkng, -Disregarded And Disabled.

This is the most expensive goodwill I’ve ever been to. I spent $75 on 2 coats, 2 shirts, a book and 2 glasses. I remember when all of that used to cost between $20-$40. The selection of clothes to household goods are hit-or-miss so I don’t go often.

Went in here for the first time with my mom and the cashier stated they don't have 30% off on Wednesdays. My mom has just shopped here last week and received the discount. I called back and asked, same lady answered and stated I paid using my card so she couldn't apply the discount. The stuff was my mom's and I was simply paying for it. It wasn't that I couldn't afford to pay but the fact this worker had to lie and say" we don't do the discount here" is what has helped me decide to never shop here again.

Very rude.. I am a frequent goodwill shopper all over this is a first for me, basically accused of price switching ( I certainly did not ) this location? Never again ..believe me it's there loss

I go to this Goodwill every so often and have found some great stuff for good prices. They have a pretty big selection of clothing which is nice. But it feels like the shelves have been emptier more recently than they used to be. It always seems kind of sparse. They do have a small section of records and I found some nice ones the last time I was there!

I would NOT go in here ever again. I would recommend that one uses their credit cards for transactions. I would make sure said change is transacted at the same time you hand the said employee the balance due. I would NOT use a large bill to pay for a transaction. I would preferably have witnesses to your transaction, especially if the transaction is in cash.

Nice workers here, but the register system often has problems and the staff need to re-ring the purchases multiple times. Also, many of the housewares and decorations are not priced, making shopping challenging.

I love this place to shop but am disappointed in a recent behavior. They sent thru multiple transactions a month later causing lots of problems with my checking account. It's not ok to have issues on your end and then turn around and cause problems for other people... pls handle busy promptly. If you won't want it done to you then pls don't do it to your customers.

I enjoy browsing and shopping at this Goodwill in particular. The employees during all shifts are always helpful and do a good job at running the store.Employee Charles is especially fast on the register as well and always have professional good general conversations to add to a wonderful shopping experience.

The gentleman accepting donations clearly would prefer that no one donate. I assume it makes his job easier but it would seem a difficult business model for a store that sells donated goods.On 7/29/21 there were several people kindly donating an array of furniture and large items. When the employee in charge of accepting donations finally emerged from the store he made a point to be rude and alienate each and every one.

I have been to this Goodwill store many times in the month I have been living here and although I haven't purchased clothing for myself, I have purchased textiles for the house that were excellent quality and I have gotten good sleepwear for my son. The aisles are color coded, but they do need to get better about labeling for price. Invariably when I go to checkout, the cashier doesn't know the price of something, which is annoying.

All the products and clothing seem to be well organized and arranged for size on the racks. My wife and I found things that we needed for our house, purchased them and the store helpers there were very nice.

If you need cups plates or a chair, this is your one stop shop. Its hard to find anything good here because to many ebay and FB market place vultures linger.

This Swarthmore Goodwill location is ridiculously overpriced compared to all other Delaware County locations. They also seem to have less inventory then all of the others also. I have seen some items sit on the shelves for a very long time because they are overpriced. The only reason I do stop in is because sometimes they do miss a really good item that is worth money. I found a signed Kosta Boda glass vase for $3.99 that is worth more than $400!

This Goodwill use to be amazing, now they are just greedy. All new with tags items are priced higher now, and changes with pricing has happened with other items as well. Hats use to be about 1 or 2 dollars, now they go from $8-50, but the last straw with me was the color sale. Now it’s only on Sundays instead of the entire week. And the color tag sale includes the things in the case. Well, this Goodwill now removes all the items in the case with the color tag that’s on sale. They get this stuff for free and this is what they do?! Greedy and unfair!!!!!

Such a shame this swarthmore location wants Ebay prices for simple home glassware which most is chipped! Just because it's in Swarthmore doesn't mean everyday folk has hefty wallets. Drop the prices and LET the resellers AND everyday people be able to afford other people's donated stuff.

Not a bad store for it's size but they need to work on restocking the non-clothing items more often. Restocking seems to take them awhile but the clothes racks are always full.

Always smell and never any quality clothes, its like the send all the old and dated stuff here. I thought being close to a college campus it would be much better. I've gone to this one multiple times and it always SUCKS!

I love this store. Clothes are clean & mostly in style, with a nice variety. I didn't have to wait long in line & the cashier was pleasant😀

The Goodwill is one of the longest Scams in American history. Goodwill won't pick up your donation unless it's ESTATE quality. They put people back to work that help them get rich...So what . I would suggest donating your items to a smaller organizations that truly appreciates it. Also you really can't claim items you donated on your taxes. I leave my items on the curb with a free sign the day before trash or post on a free local community facebook page.

Goodwill is a place for those of lesser means to buy things less expensive. This store tags many many items at New retail prices. I have even seen Target items being sold for more than Target sells them. Its a disgrace and takes advantage of the poor. Also when ever they get an item over 20 years old, they seem to think it is a valuable antique and ask crazy prices for them. Across the store there are over priced items. Out the back door managers often cherry pick items for themselves. Donate to Purple Heart, they still have some integrity.
