The ice cream here was amazing. The vibe of place is adorable. The main reason I would come back here besides the amazing ice cream, is the owner Tom. He stopped by our table to chat and you can genuinely tell he loves his ice cream shop. 10/10 and wish I could give more than five stars. Hi Tom! So we finally made it to this place and all I can say is, WOW! Want to talk about a "Diamond in the Rough" . So its slightly out of the way but so very Worth The Trip! I could have never imagined in a million years a place would have so many flavors of Custard and to top it off, they make Homemade Baked Goods and one of my favorite things, Gobs and they make 80 (THAT'S RIGHT, 80 DIFFERENT KINDS OF GOBS). I also met one of the Owners and his Daughter who is the baker and she said, what ever flavor I can come up with for a gob she can make it! I'm head over heels my wife and I found Country Custard!! I don't care how far away you are, GET THERE,You'll Thank Me!!

Definitely one of the most unique places I’ve visited for ice cream! It was absolutely delicious and they have soo much more then just ice cream! They make different types of gourmet breads like the Jalapeño Cheese bread which my wife and I got last night and it was amazing! The whole front porch gives you a warm cozy southern front porch porch. Type feel! Reminds me of my home in GA! We will definitely be back! Love this place! OH AND THE OWNERS/workers are soooooooo nice!

We just found out about this place from a friend. We have been there twice. We love the custard! It's delicious and there's so many flavor options it's hard to choose! The second time we were there the owner stopped and talked to us as we sat outside eating our pumpkin cheesecake clusters. She was so friendly and kind. She seemed to recognize that we were new customers and welcomed us to her establishment. I asked her about the pies they sell, and she gave me an order form in case I would like to order any pies for Thanksgiving. The pies looked delicious, and it looks like they have quite a variety. We will definitely be visiting here again!

Great ice cream. We asked to have pecans mixed in with the soft ice cream... heaven. It was rum ice cream. Molasses cookies are out of this world.

Great local place to stop and get a treat. Not just all kinds of frozen custard. Also lots of yummy cookies, gobs, pies and other treats. Plus Xl pepperoni rolls. The store also has local crafts and such (honey and candles)

Found this place just traveling through. Live it! Local honey, frozen custard in soo many flavors. They even have a baby banana split. There is also some great pie, I recommend the blueberry. If you have a chance stop by.

Large servings, but in the 3 or 4 times I've been here it was from ok to good, not great. My husband likes it, likes the large portions. Last time he got a flavored ice cream and it was practically soup. If you're looking for something besides DQ, try it. There's a really large selection of flavors. I would just say don't assume what you're getting is hard/ homemade ice cream. I thought a German chocolate dish I ordered was. Turned out to be a blizzard style mix of chocolate ice cream, caramel & coconut.Cute shop with appealing design & theme. Lots of candles, some seem to be from Amish country. Plenty of gravel parking, not paved, so not really wheelchair friendly. There is outdoor seating only.

This is one of those hidden country gems you hear about. I've been going to this establishment since it was opened. The aesthic is country/cottage, as the name implies. If you like ice cream though, this place is magical. I've been to various places and not very many compare. This isn't ice crystals Hersheys/ Blue Bunny, but REAL ice cream that's amazingly smooth. I've never been disappointed by the topping selection. Ownership has changed hands over the years, but the the quality of the product delivered is unchanged. They also have a small bakery type thing that offers some tasty treats ( looking at you Chocolate Chip Gobs😉). The environment is very relaxing and the covered front porch is inviting and peaceful. I would highly recommend this to anyone without a dairy aversion or gluten allergy!

Great place but way too crowded ever since they were featured on tv. They’re not set up for efficiency so you end up standing in a crowd of miserable, undecided people for 30 minutes.Please rethink operations now that you’re super popular.

Such a cute place! They not only have amazing desserts, pies, and soft serve ice cream, this little shop has cute crafty decor as well! You can stop in and get some goodies and sit on their little porch at one of their tables. Very friendly atmosphere.

5* The best custard ice cream! A great place to go for a cool dessert in summer. It has a cute cottage covered porch area to sit and relax, eat your cool treat, and watch the kids talk to the goats and kitties. The kids like the goats and kitten’s. The adults like the eclectic gift shop and great little bakery. I’m glad we live just a hop skip and a jump away!

When the Country Custard opens for the season, my family gains 10 pounds on the delectable custards, pies, and other assortments of wonderful treats they have here. The custard varieties are vast, the staff friendly, and the store itself warm and inviting to be in. Especially love the outside sitting areas there, and the occasional escaped goat or random cat that saunters across the parking lot to say hi. Happy to see them open for another season

Trying a new ice cream shop was on our summer bucket list. We took our kiddos to the cottage and everyone loved their treats. The baby banana splits were huge and the homemade strawberry shortcake was delicious. We can’t wait to go back and try all the other yummy items on the lengthy menu. The staff could not have been kinder or friendlier to our family.

Tasty custard but a little portion goes a long way. That's not to say that the portions were little, but they were very sweet and filling. We had Oreo, English Toffee, and Pineapple, and everyone was happy with their choices. Also, perfect summer afternoon sitting on the porch on rocking chairs with views of the surrounding farms.
