They had no "healthy" chips, no chip straws, and no bags of bubble gum. The people are NOT friendly at all. The only one that even smiled was the young man who checked me out. He was very nice. It's a clean store.

Convenient to my apartment. Not the best prices - BUT - This store has THE BEST STAFF I've dealt with in a LONG time. Courteous, patient, helpful. One lovely young lady chased me half way home to return a can of ham spread that I'd dropped!

Store is very small, they don't have as big of a selection as some of the bigger stores; historically this is the first Weis which is why it is largely unchanged and I don't believe even though the new Weis on 4th street is much larger I don't think they will ever close this small Weis. The employees there are top notch and all very sweet.

Good quality and variety. Generally good service. Never had a compare. Weis was founded in Sunbury, so pretty much a big part of the town. Good bakery, kept clean. No complaints.

Expensive, how do you save when Weis is one of the most expensive grocery stores in the area. They changed their policy on doing the surveys to get 100 extra points to help with gas. It was 1 survey per 7 days. Now it's 14 days!I'm not a fan of this store lately.

I like going to Weis (in general, doesn't have to be the Market St location). I was disappointed this evening (Friday) when I called their phone number and chose the selection to hear store hours only to find that the automated system was wrong. I did update some of the hours on Google, so hopefully that change will go live as they are incorrect as well. I find that pricing at Weis tends to be cheaper than Giant overall. I enjoy their seasonal ice cream flavors and do prefer their ice cream over Turkey Hill. Smaller store than others as this is the first of its kind, but still a decent selection.

Do not shop there. They sell expired stuff. I have bought a tuna fish sandwich from there and it was expired. I have also bought Hershey chocolate pudding and it was expired from last year. Not a good look on them at all. I suggest you not grocery shop there and if you do CHECK THE DATES!!!!!!

Poor Healthy soup selection. Tight isles. Floors look dirty. Employees standing around chatting with each other while customers are asking for help. Not enough lanes open for the overflow of customers. I actually had to ask to have another lane opened and was ignored. Its the same old Weis. Nothing special or out of the ordinary such as what Wegmans has.

My wife and I needed a few things for a picnic we were going to, we stopped into what a lot of people call the lower Weis in Sunbury. This is a very small Weis compared to what we are used to but it definitely had everything we needed they just don't stock as much of it and at check out we noticed that the prices were actually a little lower than even the Weis is in the same town but on another street. It's just a really nice quaint grocery store which I believe is actually the original Weis Markets of Sunbury where it all started. This location has a very small parking lot so it is not as busy as the other locations and it appears to be century located in town so it is easily accessible to those who live around the immediate area.

Went to Weis Market on Market Street in Sunbury. Had a nice shopping experience. Clerks stocking shelves were helpful in getting items I couldn't reach. Checkout clerk saw I had a big walking cart and bagged my things so the heavy stuff was on the bottom. Staff was very pleasant. Store was clean.

I had got a Turkey today and the young man Dan that took care of me at the cash register was so patient and kind and helpful as the person in the pricing department didn't have a price on the turkey. So he asked his manager how to do the process of finding out the price and totally following her every word and never once getting frustrated. He was such a breathe of fresh air . Thznk you Dan for a job done with kindness & excellence.

The very last thing I would ever do is work at Weis, particularly the ones in Sunbury. They are chock full of some of the most disrespectul, disruptive, unintelligent, deceitful and ignorant people Sunbury has to offer, which is saying quite a lot, people from Sunbury tend not to be like that. It's almost as if they're trying to be problematic. I would suggest strongly that not a single soul on the planet shop at Weis or attempt to get a job there.

Great experience. Lots of good deals. Friendly staff. Carts are being cleaned by the guys on the porch. Love the sale stickers on the meats and seafood if its nearing the end date .

Nice that this store focuses on hiring elderly and others in need. I REALLY like that. But, selection is very limited, and some folks there were not very friendly. Prices were just ok.

Good spot if you're traveling by foot. If you're driving, go to the larger Weis in town. They have a much bigger selection. I think this is the original Weis markets.
