Disgusted and had a horrible anxiety attack after the experience I just had with Painted Pooch[Everyone has different experiences, this however is my own]My own fault for taking my dogs to a groomer I didn't research, bc dbl coated dogs, and huskys, are not for every groomer. I took them there on a whim out of convenience.Called to check in on them bc it was taking way longer than our usual groomer and while asking 1 girl on the phone their status, I could hear the lady in the background saying she was still working on them while in the same breath insulting me for my dogs coats saying they're massively matted and there's no way i brush them, and they won't be done for hours bc of how bad their coats are (which they were in the midst of struggling with coat bloating and have been swimming A lot)I said um okay.. hung up and called back 30 sec later (6x until someone answered again) bc my body went into instant panic for my dogs bc the way she was talking sounded like she was not frequent with dbl coated dogs. Finally got someone and asked them to stop working on my dogs and I'd be right there for them. Somehow hours turned into 'okay they're basically ready'. I didn't care if they were or not bc I was no longer comfortable with them being there by the way this lady was talking and the tone in her voice.Then this woman told me she used a razor on my dogs bc their tufts were 'too impacted' (I brush and pull their tufts out daily with a rake🙄 and i had told her no cutting/shaving) and from her trying to tell me details of who had what I could tell she had the dogs completely mixed up and didn't actually know which was which and she didn't listen to any details I told her regarding them when I originally dropped them off because she repeated the same details to me when I picked them up (ex- alouras in heat).Asked for an itemized receipt so I can see exactly what was done specifically on which dog for the price they were asking, and the receipt had their name and the word groom without any details like I specifically asked for.Never. Again.Research groomers to make sure they're accustomed with your breed.I know better.

I wouldn't know how they were because they couldn't return my call. I needed a daycare to keep my dogs while we attended a memorial service. Only 4-5 hours. They were recommended to us by Sunbury Animal Hospital but we ended up going to another facility.

Rex was dropped off by person and I didn't know where he went was taken out of my custody and taken their that I never knew. Had to go thru psp to get him back. When he left me he weighed 8.3lb and when I got him back he weighed 3.5lb when the next day he was at lewisburg vet for shots . PP starved him while boarded their.

When I took my dog there, he threw himself on the ground trying to get away from the place. He was shaking and whining as though he knew something bad was gonna happen. I have found a decent amount of cuts on my dog that were not there. I will not be bringing my dog back.
