Absolutely horrible reptile enclosures. The animals basic needs are not even provided. Obviously there is no knowledge of reptiles here and these people should be turned in for animal abuse!

While this place is convenient for quick supplies and live feeders. They do not have any knowledge as to when it comes to Reptile care. Ball pythons are being housed together, stuck shed, severely dehydrated. Tegus, I repeat tegus, are being housed in 18x18x24s along with any other reptile (leopard geckos, beardies etc) because it’s convenient for the rack. It is really unfortunate to see these animals suffer every time I come in here. I must stress that if you come here to buy any reptiles, be prepared for it to either be very sick or even die within the first few months of owning it. Especially the snakes.

just went in here to get dog treats with my kids I’m Mexican and have tattoos worker followed my family around staring us down the entire time which i can only believe because of how i a 8 month pregnant women look because there were two other white families in the store as well. 10/10 don’t recommend.

Walked in and got punched in the face with a strong smell of urine, I understand it's a pet store but this was bad, like made my eyes water. Foolishly went to take a picture of a hamster to send to my sister for my neice (my bad, there are signs posted which I did not see) and was immediately snapped at "NO pictures". Like they were watching me hardcore. I wonder why that is... what are you hiding petworld?I used to come here as a kid with my grandpa and always loved it but it has since then been ran very dirty and rude.

They are always friendly here. We buy mice biweekly and they are always helpful. Even when my snake wouldn't eat and we had to take her their to assist feed

Found this hidden gem while out on a random drive. "Toucan for sale" grabbed our attention(spoiler alert: no toucan). Store was clean, well laid out. Animals all looked healthy, clean, and well fed. Can't say anything about prices, since we weren't there to shop and compare to our local store. But, we will be back.

Bought home Hermit crabs last yr from Ocean city MD and finally needed to buy more food for thw crab.I found they had a good selection of foods, shells, tank needs.I was happy to be able to give the crab a few bew shells to switch to

I like pet world a lot. Fair prices for the love animals. They do mark up the supplies a bit compared to Amazon(can't blame em, gotta make a profit) but I still think it's better than pet smart. The people there are pretty helpful and very nice.

I don’t know what people are saying when they are saying the animals all look healthy. This place has never been a good pet store and they are WORSE THAN EVER! That cockatoo they want to sell for 2000 dollars is stressed out, plucked half its feathers out. And their lovebirds beak is WAYY too long, needing a trim for several months. The staff have no idea what talking about when asked about tank mates for fish. The ferrets are in way too small a container, constrained to a 1/4th of the container they’re in, when the whole is still not big enough. Also they falsely advertise exotic birds long after they’re sold just to draw people in.

i recently got 2 ball pyhtons and a 4 goldfish from this place and full kits for them both, heatmat aquarium etc. both died within 2 weeks i would not reccomend anyone to buy an animals from here cages are filthy animals that should not be housed together like veiled chameleons are housed together baby ball pythons 10 plus to a 2x2 enclosure not safe for them animals at all i will never be buying anything from here ever again

Pet World! This place is one of those businesses where honest hard working guys are doing what they love! They have Rabbits, ferrets, birds.. sign said Puppies, but I didn't see any.This type of business is very quickly becoming a thing of the past, sadly.A Mom &Pop type pet store, with prices that are so much better than the big box stores which have single handedly cause the shutting down of these types of businesses. These guys at Pet World, not only care about their critters, they also care about their customers! It shows in their prices and the way they pass the savings on. I hope they have the opportunity to keep this business going for many more years! It's a real gem!

I just recently started coming here and while some stuff are cheaper others are a bit on the more pricey side. It’s a small cluttered place kinda feels like your in the way whenever you walk in and the lady who works there makes me uncomfortable and I feel unwelcome she doesn’t smile makes me feel bad even asking a question. The guys who work there are ok but when she comes around I can’t get out fast enough!

They are way over priced for their fish plus when I got home, I checked the ph and it was so acidic it was unbelievable; 6.2 on the test strip. Besides that, one of my neon tetras died within 2 hours of introducing it to my tank. It's ashamed there are no good pet stores in this area. Guess I'll have to go out of this area. Do not intend on going back here.

Nice store for pets and supplies. Great friendly customer service. It was interesting just to walk through just to see the different pets that are for sale. We just bought a few fish there. I will definitely go back to them when I’m ready to add a few more to my aquarium. I would highly recommend dealing with them. They are the best pet store I am aware of in the Selinsgrove / Sunbury area.Years ago I had an aquarium and it wasn’t uncommon to have a fish or two die after buying and transporting them home. But I was impressed with the fish bought at Pet World. I didn’t have a single one die from the transport shock.

Not a whole lot in the way of animals. A good amount of fish, some reptiles and spiders but dogs and cats are always on short supply.Prices are on the high end and the owner is about the most impersonable fellow I've ever met. The rest of the staff is quite friendly though.If you're looking for a great pet store this wouldn't be my first choice but if you just need to pick up some crickets or feeder mice quick this place is not a terrible option.

I have been doing biz with them for years. When I was there last i mentioned the corner unit aquarium I bought. The owner looked up and I said "those kids working here that night were a huge help!" I bought it as a gift for my wife. I told those 2 I need every thing it takes to make it my wife's fav thing...A Snow Globe!!!!They were the best most knowledgeable people for the job. She even figured out the the ratios for me so the fish won't get "fin bubbles or bubble fin" something like that.They truly know everything you could possibly need at Pet World then and now. I hope it gets passed on in the family cuz it's well worth it.

I get all my feeder mice and rats here because they’re clean and well-cared for and are cheaper than all other pet stores in the area. Sometimes the medium rats are very small and are still priced for a medium, so I wish there was an in between size/pricing since I have to get 2 of them at a time for my snake

Great selection of pet supplies for all type of animals. We were able to get the size of aquarium for our toutise that other pet stores were of stock. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very knowledgeable
