My husband ordered me a regular hoagie and I wanted the homemade mayo because I've heard good things about it. Wanted to get the full experience. The hoagie came with provolone cheese, which surprised me, I've never had a regular that didn't come with American cheese... The sweet mayo was alright but the hoagie had way, way too much on it, and I don't mind a little extra on my hoagies. I also wanted extra lettuce and that was lacking as well. Maybe it was because the toppings were on the bottom, which was also strange to me. Overall, the hoagie wasn't bad but also wasn't what I was expecting either.

I love this place with my heart, I’ve always enjoyed their food. But every time I order from them now the food is always wrong, no matter how many times I repeat the exact order. I’ve started ordering extra toppings on the side when I get there, just to guarantee I even get mayo, their best part of a sub. I just hope they get more consistent with their food

This was my first and last time ordering from here. It was 530 pm on a Monday. I call and after a few rings hear it pick up, but all I hear is someone clearly taking an order. Ok it's dinner time, you're busy, I get it, but don't say hello please hold or anything right, just let me listen to background noise for 5 minutes.I ordered a plain pizza, fries, a pizza roll, and a blt sub. The pizza was skimpy and discolored, the fries undercooked and soggy, the "pizza roll" was just a roll cut in half with cheese and sauce..not quite what I expected but not false advertisement either..would have been fine if it was good. It just wasn't. Poor quality. 2/10. Only because the suv was good, but as a sub shop, you would expect better.Do not recommend.

What happened to this once great sub shop??? Came in Mon. Aug 28th at 6pm Ordered two subs dry with regular mayo on the side without the sugar in it. Got the sugar mayo anyway and charged 50 cents extra for it. Roast beef sub was over cooked and dry, had hardly any meat on it, and missing the tomato that was ordered. How can you screw up a roast beef with lettuce and tomato sub???? BLT was no better. Worst sandwiches ever. No napkins or forks for the potato salad, yet they gave us 4 straws and we didn't even get drinks. Only people in the place at all. How do you go from fantastic to poor in two years????

I heard from quite a few people how good the subs were so I had to try for myself. I wasn't disappointed. They didn't skimp on meat or cheese and the sweet mayonnaise was incredible. Their large French Fries was a large to go container stuffed with fries. Overall Marlin's sub shop was worth every penny. I'll definitely be stopping here whenever I'm in Sunbury.

The place here at marlins its fantastic I don’t know how they do it but it is the the best I wold love to eat here every day but sadly I’m only 13 but wen I get a job it will be at marlins because it’s great here the waiters are the best and Evan the Boss is so kind here my favorite food is the chicken tenders, and fries and a can Pepsi it all cost less than 10$ it is the best here come try there food here it is the best.

Went in and was seated right away. Got order taken right away. Was almost like a fancy restaurant with out the dressing up. Great all the way through the service.Wheelchair accessibility: You should be able to get in with no problem.

Really not great. Good and classic, nothing special. Person who took my order wrote it down wrong. Cheese steaks are just one or 2 pieces of an unchopped steakem, with mozzarella cheese, onions aren’t carmelized, really just disappointing.

These guys actually know how to make a real sub. The lettuce is shredded. There is enough oil & vinegar. It was excellent.Also, the service was great! Women behind counter were friendly and professional. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to try this place. Next time I have to go into town, I'm eating here again.

My wife and I stopped in here for hoagies on memorial Day weekend. The lady at the counter asked if we were be dining in. We said yes. She said if you want to have a seat will come take your order five or so people came in after us. They proceeded to take all their orders and we sat there for 25 minutes. Finally got fed up. Went to the counter paid for my waters The lady behind the counter said didn't anybody take your order. I said obviously not. Thank you. Good day

I got the Turkey and cheese hoagie with mayo. I’m from out of the area and noticed two sub shops only a few hundred feet away. I was calling marlins but saw Sunbury subs. Anyway the sandwich was great! Bread was soft and very good, the worker said I picked the right spot! The homemade sweet mayo took the sub over the top. I’d recommend and be back if in area again 😊

I only rated this place a 1 because I couldn't rate it a 0. This place by far was the worst place I have ever eaten at. I recommend it to no one. Nasty, dirty, disgusting!!!! I would prefer to eat out of a dirty gas station toilet than to ever eat here!!! The worst Philly cheesesteak ever!! Never again 😒!!!!

We just went on a sub kick. We visited and tasted 9-10 different sub shops or places famous for their subs, and we have voted Marlin’s #1.1. Quality and freshness of meat and the unique way they put the sub together. Plus the delicious sweet mayo.2. The variety of other items on the menu.3. The dine-in option with efficient service at your table.4. The refillable fountain drinks and the fact they accepted created cards was a real plus also.

Delicious. I got a custom vegetarian sub with swiss cheese, a bunch of veggies, sweet and hot peppers, oil and vinegar, mayo, and pickles. It was awesome!
