My dog had been accused of being aggressive. I was concerned because I've never seen an aggressive side of her. So I took her to Sit, Stay, 'N Play. They tested her and found that she was a sweet dog. They suggested that she take a Canine Good Citizen class and a couple weeks later she past with flying colors and received her certificate.The staff and trainers at Sit, Stay, 'N Play were incredible and both my dog and I enjoyed every class. We learned so much from their knowledgeable staff and I was extremely impressed. If you're considering training of any kind, I highly recommend Sit, Stay, 'N Play!

Everyone takes the time to explain what the training is for.Every week the lesson is explained and I find that when you know the Why the How becomes easier.We do the lessons at home and because of how well they teach we can see the progress with Whiskey (our 6yr old JackRussell).As Whiskey continues with his lessons we continue to have a better relationship with him.Going to Sit, Stay & Play has exceeded our expectations.

This is our 3rd agility lesson with Sit Stay 'N Play & Maizy & I love it. We are learning so much in just 3 visits. Our teacher is great. I recommend it to everyone. We also did obedience classes here & it's so much easier for me now. Here is Maizy all excited to go & then all tuckered out from her lessons. Great place. I highly recommend.

I have 3 dogs, different breeds, and different personalities. The group classes are standard training classes from beginner and up, but the trainers focus on each personality trait of the dogs in the group and teach you how to train your dog the same commands as everyone else, but tailored to the dogs individual personality or specific behaviors that want to be addressed. Sit, Stay and Play taught me how to bring out the best in my dogs, and taught me how to be the best for my dogs!

My Boston Terrier Frankie was very timid and afraid of the outside world. She now has confidences and enjoys walks in the park with people and everything. I am so glad I decided to bring her to Sit, Stay, 'N Play. Kathy is a wonderful trainer and Frankie just loves her.

Our trainer, Kathy, did an amazing job instructing ME so my pup could have a calm, consistent leader. Pack your patience and don’t get discouraged…your pup will be mentally exhausted after the one hour lesson. Each week she would give us individualized pointers and tweak our technique, in a gentle encouraging way. Thank you!

I could not say enough great things about this place. Both my partner and I did two separate 6 week courses and we have a wonderfully behaved pup. We will prob go for additional courses as Shelby Jean grows! If you are not local to this area consider the commute. It will prove worth your time.Below is a pic where I got her to cross water and sit on this rock by using “place” and pointing. She then waited there while I got camera ready. We've been training at Sit, Stay 'n Play for almost 5 years now. My two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Bella and Charlie were a little older when we started, (4 and 6 at the time so we were beyond puppy training), but,. because of the wide range of activities and dog sports they offer (beyond obedience) we were able to find activities and sports that they both enjoyed doing.My Bella had played several sports through the years ..(agility, rally, obedience) .. but came ALIVE when we found Nosework ! This girl LIVES to play the game ! My Charlie came to me as a rescue at almost 4 years old. He was a ball of energy but lacked confidence so we began agility as a way for he and I to bond. We were able to find the best "fit" for two little dogs who couldn't have more opposite personalities.The last 5 years have been an incredible ride. My dogs and I have had the opportunity to do things I never imagined and none of it would have ever been possible without amazing trainers and our Sit, Stay 'n Play family.Lisa and the team are incredibly professional, supportive and only want the best for you and your dog. Their training methods are always positive and they train not only the dog, but the humans as well (which is sometimes more important lol !)My pups are now 9 and 10 1/2 and hold 22 competitive titles between them in Nosework and agility .. Our trainers have made us a team and while we work to be competitive and titles are nice and pretty, they never let us forget the MOST IMPORTANT thing about training... having the opportunity to play with the best dogs in the whole wide world !

I cannot say enough good things about sit stay n' play! They welcomed my border collie, Nero who had people and dog reactivity issues. Our trainer has been so patient and so kind to work with us, I think it was Cathy that we worked with. She really knew what she was talking about and is a miracle worker. We have implemented a lot of things in our daily routine. Nero has done phenomenally at obedience, he is very eager to learn and I will be teaching him a lot more at home. She even taught us more intermediate things at our last day.Nero has come a long way with his reactivity and I cannot thank our trainer enough for it. I will hopefully get him into rodeo dog soon and will be taking my other dog, a 9 month old german shepherd puppy here for basic obedience and hope to get him in higher classes.I will be buying an agility set to start Nero on agility as well. I am so happy that our first training experience with me and my husband's first dog was a very positive one.They were so kind as to put up a barrier thinking about Nero and the other dogs wellbeing in this obedience training. Nero really had a lot of fun here! The trainer made sure to have a lot of one on one meetings with each dog and their person if they were having issues with any training. It was very nice that she took the time for each dog that came in.They do not use any aversive training methods. Purely force free, positive reinforcement which is what I truly believe in dog training. I cannot thank this wonderful establishment enough for giving Nero a fair shot in working with him and being mindful of his reactivity. He has come leaps and bounds since the first week. Keep up the amazing work you guys do here!

I'm currently in the intermediate obedience class with my Irish doodle Archie. Our trainer is Kathy, and she does a wonderful job. I appreciate how encouraging the trainers and other staff are at Sit, Stay, 'N Play. When I started at the intermediate level, I was concerned that Archie and I were going to be kicked out because Archie was wild and I was overwhelmed. (He's very different from my other dogs, though I love him to pieces.) Instead of getting kicked out, I was constantly encouraged by all of the staff. Archie's behavior and his confidence have improved in leaps and bounds, and he has a much better sense of what I expect from him. To be honest, my confidence in training my dog has also greatly improved! I also like how I'm never rushed out of class; Kathy and the other staff always take the time to answer my questions. In addition, I like how the class is on-going. I can sign up for as many sessions as I like. This is so helpful because it keeps me accountable to consistently train and work with Archie. A well-trained dog is always worth the time and effort.

Kathy is an excellent and thorough instructor. She is very patient with the pups and the parents. My dog has only been to two classes and i can already see the difference in his obedience. I was a little nervous bringing him because he is 3 and a little (ok, a lot) reactive to other dogs, but the instructors make you and the dogs feel so good about what you’re doing and you don’t ever feel rushed out of the class when it’s over. We are looking forward to continuing through the classes and can’t say enough good things about it here!

I registered my 3 year old dog for beginner obedience training. The class and instructor was great. I liked that they gave us a paper with everything we reviewed in class to practice at home. They always checked in via email on how the class went and if I had any questions. My dog has improved greatly with his confidence and his obedience skills. I would recommend this place for your training needs!

I have seen massive improvements in my dogs temperament since attending their school. Kathy has been an amazing teacher. She’s so patient, understanding and extremely helpful. My puppy is almost 8 months old and we have been attending training at Sit, Stay and Play since he was 3 months old. I cannot imagine raising a pup without the support and guidance of the experienced, knowledgeable and awesome people there. We have learned so much, come so far and I have no intention of stopping our training any time soon. I am a better, more responsible dog owner for what they have taught me. I would recommend anyone who has a puppy, a new dog of any age or a dog with behavioral issues to visit Sit, Stay and Play. It is worth every penny.

My vet recommended this Dog Training facility after bringing a puppy into our home with 2 older dogs. The trainer was very friendly, kind and encouraging that she could help. We started Training our puppy who is doing very well. We had our older dog evaluated to find out what we needed to work on to help her acclimated to the new puppy. Our dogs have shown substantial improvement in their behavior and I would highly recommend Sit, Stay 'N Play to anyone that needs any kind of behavioral help with their dog. This place is fantastic and they're very reasonably priced. Less than $200 for 6 weeks of training. You can tell this business is really about helping families enjoy their trained dog and not about making a ton of money. They're in this for the long haul and they even make themselves available in between the classes to answer any questions you may have. Excellent experience!!!

I enrolled my puppy in their puppy manners class and am very pleased with the outcome. The staff is very friendly and professional and knowledgeable in training dogs. I highly recommend bringing your dog to their classes as you will not be disappointed! It is amazing what a few weeks of training can do for you and your puppy! I am extremely impressed in their skills.

My 3 month old Lab and I took the Puppy Obedience Class for 6 weeks. Awesome teaching and training. I saw outstanding results with my pup with the tracing that was taught. Gentle and relaxed atmosphere for a puppy. Love and highly recommend this facility for your training. We are signed up for Intermediate Puppy obedience now.
