The Rite Aid Pharmacy specifically!They are near impossible to reach over the phone. When you do arrive in person because they forget to text you, and the prescriptions are complete there is always someone with a horrible attitude who takes it out on customers. They constantly pass the work to their junior associates who do a great job. But the pharmacists and senior employees are rude and make work harder on the junior employees

The pharmacy in this location is the worst ever. What a shame that you choose them so because its convenient yet the people that work here are unhinged. They don’t care about you nor your pain and whatever help you need urgently to ease your pain or make you better. A bunch of lazy, unprofessional, racist people who lack proper training work here. And yet they are wondering why people hate them so much. Just look at the rating!!! Can’t wait for this brick and mortar to be replaced by a better pharmacy that the people in the area deserve.

This Rite Aid in East Stroudsburg PA made me feel like I was part of their family. I cannot say enough about the pharmacist, or the staff. There are other pharmacies close to this location, but this one is the Gold Standard for pharmacies as far as I'm concerned.

The Rite Aid in Marshalls Creek PA. is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They never have medicine! How can a pharmacy never have meds in stock? My husband has a cancer diagnosis and this place is close to home, but I can never get his meds. Their usual response is they "have to order it, or there are problems with the warehouse." Yet the Rite Aid in Brodheadsville always seems to have what I need. I just have to drive 45 minutes out of my way to get it. And the pharmacy at Lehigh Valley Pocono has the meds he needs too. It seems to be an inventory/ordering problem. And its all types of meds. Pain medication, Vitamin B1, and Amoxicllin. They don't have any of it. The B1 takes the cake. They were "out of stock" for 3 weeks. And were supposed to order it and get it the next day 3 seperate times. But each time I followed up it wasn't in stock. I was told to buy it off the shelf once. Another time I went to check she said it was out of stock but they will order it and I can get it the next day. I told her that it was supposed to ordered 3 days ago. She literally told me she didn't know what to tell me, that she just worked there! I did end up buying it off the shelf, its just the point. One girl said it was the MG of the pill, that it was a weird strength, and that's why they didn't have it. Then I found out the strentgh was not weird.They just didn't have it in stock. When I call to see if a med came in I can't ever get anyone on the phone and when I do they're rude. When I have been able to pick up meds, if there is more than one person ahead of me I can count on waiting at least 20-30 minutes. If I get a response to this review I'm sure it will be the standard, "call our customer service department." It would be more helpful if the store/ pharmacy manager actually read what people are saying and try to make changes in the store and their processes. People rely on their medications and when they have to wait for days before they can get them it seems some changes need to be made.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would... this location is NOW THE WORST pharmacy ever!... JUST TODAY, I have spent 4 HOURS on the phone TRYING to speak with ANYONE that works here without any luck...I have had 2 surgeries in the past 6 months and trying to get a hold of someone to ENSURE that my Rx's are there is IMPOSSIBLE... so this is the 2nd time in 6 months that I have been UNABLE TO GET MY MEDS POST SURGERY THAT ARE VITAL TO A SAFE AND SPEEDY RECOVERY.THE ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY EVER.

I've had nothing but problems with this Pharmacy. There are always like 4-6 people working but only 1 ever helping to grab medications. This leads to an excessive wait time whether you do drive thru or go into the store. You can almost never get anyone to answer the phone too. I just waited for 25+mins to ask a question regarding my refill. This is truly frustrating and I may need to switch pharmacies. On top of all of this, the employees act like they REALLY hate their job. As if its an inconvenience for them to do their job. I work in customer service as well and understand it can be very draining...but to go in and try to get your meds and make it as easy as possible on the employees (which they should be doing that for their customers) and get nothing but attitude and nasty looks is very discouraging. Very disappointing and bad location.

I used this store as an Amazon hub as UPS would not deliver to my home in Saw Creek. When I went to pick up my packages two were missing. The person at the counter was incredibly rude. I took what I had - they did not ask me for ID, they did not ask me for a pick up code, and they did not scan the packages. I went home - printed the pick up code and brought the documentation (which showed that Joe had received it at 9:30) back the next day. They basically told me tough- they never got it. I called the third day and they said nope - and that they could do nothing to look up the pick up code or tracking number to see if it was picked up. I told them they never asked me for ID -so perhaps they gave it to someone else. They said they would not do that. Finally I called Amazon for help. The woman on the phone called the Rite Aid. I was on hold for about 5 minutes and the Amazon rep, Angela, came back on flabbergasted! SHe said she had never had a response to an inquiry like that! The person (Joe I assume) basically blew her off as he did me and said that they didn't have the items. She explained that she had the pick up code for those items - and therefore the item had been received by the store but was never picked up. Moreover she said that she had the codes for ALL THE ITEMS THAT I PICKED UP ALREADY - meaning that the system said they were never picked up! She said they were rude and obviously were not following any protocols. SHe was filing a complaint with the Amazon Hub unit. Do not have items shipped to this store! I am hoping Amazon removes them as a hub.

Kinda under staffed. The pharmacy USED TO BE good getting prescriptions done in a timely manner. The last couple of the times I’ve used the bathroom, it smelled terrible as it didn’t seem like got cleaned everyday or often as it should, cause like it’s unsanitary.

This complaint is mostly directed to the corporate RiteAid office. Each time that I try to call the pharmacy, I have to listen to a 2 minute recording regarding Covid prior to the stores own recording. Covid issues should be routed by pressing a number and not having to listen to a long winded message. The store staff is pleasant and helpful however there’s a problem with getting them to answer the phone. After listening to all the recordings, the call is finally transferred and then it rings and rings until it loops back to the initial Covid recording, followed by the store recording and then the call is transferred where it rings and rings and back to the recording. This is almost like the definition of insanity, until after 25 minutes of this painful cycle, someone actually picks up the phone and you can’t believe your ears.

My husband went into this store 2 days ago and stood there for several minutes until they actually acknowledged them. I went to pick up the prescriptions today and there were 2 customers in front of me. The pharmacist who I did not get his name was Caucasian with a bald head a d glasses. Well he waited on the 2 customers and then just walked away. There was a black lady with short hair waiting on the drive thru. After she was finished she walked up to the pharmacist. The proceeded to walk right past me. She then turned around and said, do you need help? It was obvious I did or else I doubt be standing there. Every time I have been in that pharmacy I have gotten the same treatment except for once and that was when I was dressed nicely. The other times I was sick

I brought my son in for his covid shot at 6:30 pm for his appointment and after eating an hour and 20 minutes for the shot I finally had to say something. They have these 2 poor women working both the prescription side and the shot. Now it’s the busiest time of the day since everyone is out of work and picking up their prescriptions. But you don’t have enough people to work both the covid shots and the window and drive through. Honestly for the amount of money you make could you hire some people and help them out ! I will never use rite-aid for anything. I will use CVS.

I would have to say Robin And Gerd are the only good people at this location. There is another women at the front end who is just the rudest person . The pharmacy is horrible while the pharmacist is good the others who work in the pharmacy are some of the worst tried to use Good Rx and was treated like I was trash.

My husband and I got our first Moderna vaccine at Store #1800 in East Stroudsburg. The staff was friendly and efficient and made the whole process very easy. The pharmacist, John Hohmann, was friendly, knowledgeable, and affable. All in all an excellent experience.

Using the “drive thru” for drop off or pick up meds is a joke. I get a lot of meds filled and because of mobility issues it’s easier to drive to the window. This Rite Aid is horribly understaffed at probably its most busiest part of the store. I’m sure I’m not the only one complaining. Come on Rite aid, step it up or close it down.

Pharmacy has gone downhill since the last pharmacist change...drive thru closed during normal business hours, when it is open, waiting 20+ minutes is typical. Going inside to deal with the gentleman behind the counter is painful, so painful I'm considering switching pharmacies.

Bright Spot. Yasmine. Dark spot -the woman who I asked about the COVID shot because I was still a little Leary about getting it. Her response was doesn’t matter if she got the shot or not. Rude response. The Job is to educate and encourage people. Not to be rude or sound viscous to others when asking a very important health question. She should be fired and I will call corporate to make sure.

Terrible pharmacy service. I waited for 25 minutes to get my son’s medication refilled and there was NO ONE in line except me! Ridiculous, and when I asked if someone was helping customers at the counter I got a nasty “YES they are” worst experience ever! They didn’t even acknowledge me!

Pharmacy service is a joke. Drive thru supposed to be a quick service nothing to sit there for 25 minutes because instead of telling the customer with 100 questions or their order isnt ready to go back around or come inside everyone else waits. Sounds childish but its aggervating

I only use this pharmacy because of my insurance, always waiting never have the medication, understaffed, more than once open late and closed too early, have to call multiple times just to get through and just too far of a commute for such below average service

Impossible to get anyone on the phone. Had a covid test done and waited more than 5 days for the results and every single time I attempted to call and ask what the delay may be, their automated system kept bringing me in circles. Horrible
