Poconos Snake Farm and Animals is an amazing and enjoyable experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive. The farm hosts various snake species and diverse animals such as crocodiles, monkeys, goats, and pigs. What makes this place special is the opportunity to feed the animals; you can purchase a tray for $8 containing four different types of food, including fruits for monkeys, specific food for bears, milk for goats and pigs, and even a few worms. Alternatively, you can opt to buy individual types of food for $2 each. The farm is relatively small, allowing visitors to cover everything in about 45 minutes, but you're free to stay longer. Additionally, they have a souvenir shop near the ticket counter.Feeding the goats and monkeys was a highlight of our visit; the monkeys impressively catch grapes from a few feet away in their enclosure. This place comes highly recommended, especially for kids and toddlers. Moreover, for hygiene, the farm has installed soap water taps and provides sanitizers on-site for visitors' convenience.Operating hours are between 12 PM and 5 PM. Admission fees are $12 for adults, $8 for children aged 2-11, and free for children under 2. They don't allow outside food or drinks (except water) and prohibit flashes on cameras. Parking space is limited, and they provide a couple of portable washrooms for both men and women outside.

This is a definite must-see!!! Right off Rt 209, so pay attention, or you could drive right by it!! There is a small parking lot convenient to walking to the entrance. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly!! You have the opportunity to buy a tray of food for different animals and feed them!!! We had so much fun interacting with the animals. It's very small so the time you are there depends on how long you feed or watch the animals. There is a sign that some of the animals are older overall animals looked happy and healthy and definitely well loved.

This place is very charming. What is may lack in state of the art facilities, it makes up for with a knowledgeable and chatty staff, who will quickly fill you in on the who’s who of all the animals there. Most of the animals were either rescues or donated by people/facilities unable to take care of them. For a small operation, they have a pretty extensive collection of primates who are really cool to interact with. The wonderful lady at the front gave us a lot of background on the facility and it’s origins. We stopped here on our way back to New York after a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. This is a fun and inexpensive way to expand a trip there, especially if you’ve developed a little water park fatigue.

This place was so much fun! We just happened to drive by and decided to stop because our son loves snakes, and we’re so glad we did. Such a unique experience for a “zoo”. Really cool set up, perfect size for a pit stop and great price. Up close and personal experiences with the animals were amazing. My son got to feed the lizard, the pig, goats, monkeys, lemurs, and the bear. We had a blast and would definitely visit again if in the area. The staff was so friendly but you we’re definitely on your own along the way, which I liked. At the end they have some unique jams, knick knacks, and jewelry. Check it out, so cool!

You do not want to miss out on visiting the Pocono Snake & Animal Farm! We took our 15 month old daughter, unsure if it would hold her attention, and we could have stayed for hours just watching the pigs, goats, and monkeys! We went early in the day on a Saturday and there was no wait to buy our tickets and treats for the animals. We had a blast feeding the pig and goats milk from a bottle, as well as tossing the monkeys fruits & veggies. If we are ever back in the area, we will be visiting again!

Pocono Snake & Animal Farm is an absolute delight! From the moment you step foot onto the farm, you're greeted by a wonderful array of animals, each with its own charm and personality. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making the experience both educational and entertaining for visitors of all ages. The highlight, of course, is the diverse collection of snakes, which are fascinating to observe up close. The farm's commitment to animal welfare is evident in the well-maintained enclosures and the obvious care given to each creature. A visit to Pocono Snake & Animal Farm is a memorable and enriching experience that I highly recommend to anyone in the area!

When we got to the farm we had to wait a few minutes before we could get our tickets and enter. We also bought milk, fruits, and pellets to feed the animals. The tickets cost $12 per adult and the food cost $6.The layout was like a small zoo. The beginning had turtles, lizards and snakes. The next section had a couple of different monkeys and a sloth. The next part was the outdoor section that had goats and a pig you can feed with a bottle. There were monkeys that could catch the fruit if you threw it to them. You could toss pellets into a raccoon enclosure and use a funnel to feed pellets to the bear. In the center there is a large enclosure with turtles, koi fish, and alligators. Towards the end of the zoo there were a few big cats and a parrot.I enjoyed the monkeys and the goats the most. This was a great experience and I highly recommend stopping by!

Our visit to the Pocono snake & animal farm was a pleasant one. You can experience feeding pigs, goats, raccoon, turtles, crocodiles, monkeys, put food down a feeding tube to a bear, as well as see a few snakes, turtles, sloths, and a chinchilla. It's great and adventurous for the little ones. However, for a small farm, entry cost is a bit pricey. We paid in all $40. That was for 2 adults, 1 child and a food tray for different animals to feed. I understand the cost is, probably, the upkeep but just make sure if you go, you got the bucks. If they are busy, expect to be told to wait outside as they try to control the amount of people inside. We waited for about 5 minutes before entering and paying. The reason for 3 stars is the price. For a small farm I would expect it to be a little more affordable. Otherwise, 4 stars for fun and enjoyment for the family.

This is a really cute little intimate farm. My babies had fun and given the fact that its not a overly huge place it leaves plenty of room for children to better take in the animals and really learn about them (I'm not sure how great that is or isn't for the animals though?) Being able to feed the animals was their favorite part. A lil pricey but they had fun

The kids loved it! It’s worth it! The kids loved feeding the animals even us adults enjoyed it! Throwing the food to the moneys was fun and bottle feeding the pigs. Seeing and learning about the two moneys over 50+ years was awesome. Definitely enjoyed the experience and got to feed animals we’ve never fed before. Highly recommend and would go again !

We had so much fun with the animals... Just one recommendation..can you wake some animals up so we can see them or pull them out of the shelter so we can take a look if possible..Prehaps a little more milk in bottles to feed animals and other foods for feeding..$2.00 isn't a lot, but there should be some type of combination combo with a discount....

This actually turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. I¹ll be honest, I have probably driven right past this place at least 2 or 3 times a week for over a quarter of a century and never stopped. My wife and I had some of our grandchildren with us. The weather was uncooperative for outdoor events, and as we were passing by my wife suggested we take them here. It was GREAT. The kids had a ball feeding the animals in the petting area. It was way more than just snakes. There were monkeys, sloths, raccoons, lemurs, parrots, Bob cats, pigs, even a bear. The list goes on. Not overly crowded, you get to go at your own pace. Reasonable, family friendly, clean, all in all, a great little place to take the kids for a few hours.

Such a cute and small place to visit. 1 tray of a variety of food to feed different animals.....they have sloths...enough said! Feed the Goats, Turtles, monkeys, Alligators, bears and LEMURS!!! A baby lemur on top of it's mother made my day. Inside you MUST meet 2 50+year old monkeys. They are energetic! The staff are SO courteous and helpful. Not ONE rude bone in their bodies. Overall a pleasant place to visit. I was told that after memorial day you can purchase as much food as you want but this is their busy season hence they are being fair to make sure everyone has the opportunity to feed the animals. Worth passing by.

Very nice farm! The place is small but it allows you to see the animals closer than you would see in a zoo. Ticket is $8.5 for adult. You can pay extra for bear/monkey food/goat+ pig bottle. We also got to pet a bunny. There were some unique animals that we never got to see in the zoos we have visited, such as alligator snapping turtle and sloth.

Not impressed. My kids had fun so that was good. The animals seem sad and cramped. It was very crowded and unenjoyable.

We have been here twice and loved it both times. The kids have a blast feeding the animals and watching them. It's clear the animals are very well cared for and loved. Staff is friendly, the place is clean, and getting to feed all the animals is such a treat for the kids.Unfortunately this time is was quite busy so good was limited to ensure all guests get a chance, but it's understandable and the kids shared the food we had well. It's rather small, so you can enjoy the whole farm in about an hour or so. Perfect for young children and toddlers, and although it's all outside the pathway is covered so you are shaded most of the time. We will absolutely be back next time we visit the Poconos!

Very cool and affordable little zoo staffed by super friendly and knowledgeable folks, I wasn't disappointed. Price point is great and includes a tray of fruit, dry pellets and a baby bottle filled with milk to hand feed the piggies. Great for any animal lover looking to interact with some critters and especially great for kids!

Very friendly and informative employees. Animals are cute and reactive around visitors and seem well taken care of. They use quality food to feed their animals and it was a very fun pit stop for our trip to the Poconos. I fell in love with the pigs. They were so cuddly and loved interacting with people.
