Thank you dollar general for the boxes. I went to UPS to buy boxes and the size I wanted cost almost $10 as I was leaving their store because I can't afford that amount for one box and I need like 6-8 boxes the lady that works there asked me what I needed the boxes for, I told her, and she advised me to go to the next store, which is dollar general, ask for their manager, and let her know that you need some boxes before they trash them. I did exactly as she told me and the assistant manager who I met was kind to direct me where to pack as many boxes as I want. Thank you Dollar General for saving me $80 bucks.

Friendly place to shop and much larger selection and clean now that they have upgraded their store. Most prices are way below weis/giant, and Vinny/Dennis and 'Mama' are so helpful all the time.I had a five star rating a couple months back, but now that those two lovely representatives have left, the store is dirty, items moved around all the time, enough said...As a followup @ March 8' 22, the Associates are pleasant but the store is extremely filthy; racks & racks of new inventory and box garbage on wheeled carts in the aisles; no one answers the phone (I believe I left my small purchase there, wanted to see if someone turned it in before venturing out in the bad weather). What's up with the extreme deterioration of this store that we enjoyed shopping in???

In general, customers are greeted upon entering, by the cashier. Only a few times have they not had what I wanted to buy. Since the renovations, the aisles are more spacious and the shelves are more fully stocked. Parking is never an issue.

I have never been a fan of Dollar General. They should change their name to Money General. 80% of their items are well over a dollar. I went in this one because it was convenient. But I'm sorry I did. There was hardly anyone in the store. One register open with a cashier moving like sap leaking from a tree. I finally get to the register. No greeting or even a smile. I had one item that I asked her to price check. She proceeds to guess a price that she thinks is right. I asked could she make sure. Instead of checking the price on the register on front of her she leaves to go ask someone. Finally she comes back and I decided to take the item. But what I really went in there for was a couple things for a birthday party. When I get home to bag up the present I see she charged me for one of the items but it never made it in my bag. Thanks Dollar General for messing my day up and my friends birthday present. I'll stick to Dollar Tree (a real $1 store)

We come here for quick items, seasonal items and phone cards. They are always friendly and will show you where items are, if you can't locate them. The public bathrooms are always clean and sanitary. They recently started carrying milk,creamers, some ice cream and breakfast products if your camping out or need ice for your coolers for taking your food or beverages home. Visit them today.

Great place, if you've been to a Dollar General , well ....then from my personal view its safe to say that this place is a "Dime a Dozen"....in terms of what options are available to you typically at a Dollar General.Otherwise it's clean place ,friendly staff . Although sometimes it may seem like there's nobody in the store but there is someone always working in one of the aisle.

Waited on line over 5mins. With only 1 customer ahead. Gentleman stepped in front of us to register to be waited on, waited on immediately. We asked why we were not waited on. NO RESPONSE.. RACIAL BIAS IN FULL EFFECT...We left our merchandise & walked out. Very disappointed with treatment towards us.You need to do better.#RaceMatters

This place is never open during work hours because no one wants to work there, prices have skyrocketed and every month there are new people. Their phone doesn’t work either because workers say they don’t have a phone but other stores do.

I go here often, staff isn't usually very friendly and store is very crowded. I frequent here because it's close to my house and convenient. They always have what I need.

Good, I just wish the staff was treated better. Easy to see the corporate landslide in action here. The people working inside get little to no respect from the higher-ups and it sucks to see that.

Had to stop by my job to pick up my tool belt and decided to hit up this Dollar General in East Stroudsburg. Although it's bigger than the one in Mt. Bethel, bigger is definitely not better. I needed a cheap coffee maker for today, but they don't carry them, so, I ended up at the Mt. Bethel Dollar General anyway, which is a smaller store, but they always have what I need. I did however pick up a few odds and ends at this East Stroudsburg location and still got the same savings I'd get at Mt. Bethel and the staff at East Stroudsburg were very helpful and courteous.

The store is a mess.. you can't find anything!! Rude managers and no haircare products for my wife. I'm sure they get the shipment they just don't put it out their storage room is probably too junky

We go there all the time you down load the app and click on what you want to buy and when you go up to pay for it you put your phone number in and save we save on clothes soap we payed only $215 for a bag of soap when you buy the other 2 things so that's a really good deal and you have on them to its a lot cheeper there to buy some of those things every time we go we save a lot of money you just save to down load that app you save
