Most disgusting produce department of any local store. I constantly recieve moldy fruit. We purchased strawberries yesterday and I fully accepted there would be at least one with fuzz on it. What I did not expect was to have several so rotten they practically liquefied between the others.

It's a great store they offer a ton of variety and great prices but the deli... the deli is an issue? Would it kill them to put more people on? It took 30 minutes to serve one customer with 3 items. She asked for pastrami ham and Swiss and it took 30 minutes it shouldn't be that way I can go to any other store and get better service. Put someone else behind the counter or hire another employee. One who is a little faster?

I usually get my lunch meat and cheese at the local BJ’s. Prices are better but nothing aggravates me more than to go in there at 4pm and there is one person behind the counter. Don’t tell me you don’t have the help! More employees need to be scheduled around this time. Someone needs to learn how to write a schedule! It’s ridiculous to be 5 numbers behind. Not good customer service!

Seems to be a weekly shopping stop when I am in Stroudsburg. Sometimes I pick up a bunch of things on my list, sometimes just a few.I have noticed lately, less name brand products and more Wesley & James BJ's brands. Also seems to be out of items periodically. Not sure the reason, but what the heck, it seems everything is blamed on "Supply Shortages" now.

BJs as a business cannot be bothered to adequately staff its checkout lanes, so the shopper is made to pay for this by waiting in a line that stretches as far back as the customer service counter while the attendant at the front door scrutinizes every single item on every single receipt to prevent shrink. Never seen this happen at any Costco I have shopped. Otherwise it is a well stocked location and I have no complaints about my experience. Most employees are pleasant to deal with.

Completely disappointed in the checkout staffing. Women assisting doesn't notice or care 7th in line waiting 20min for the one and only cashier, who is slower than sin. Finally some one else notices and opens up. She responses to my frustrations with it is what it is. She also said if I don't like it don't shop here. Her cashier number was 377373 just in case someone from B.J's cares. It's a shame we're is the manager I ask and get no response out of her, nothing. Management should care more about there customer satisfaction! Sad to see the way things are going.

The place is filthy the check out lane usually has only one open the short haired old lady that checks your reciepts is nasty and slow. Been there twice and Sam's club beats this place hands down. You can only scan and go 20 items (probably because the low life client tell that shop here) the place isnt worth a membership at all.Drive 15 min and go to Sam's trust me its worth it.

Explain why I have to wait in line to pay and then to leave store. Ten deep to leave and when I say something an employee responds with however many lines it takes to make sure you didn't forget to scan nothing. Really??? Prices aren't that good.

Ray the assistant manager along with the GM Scott and the Eric are very understanding! Even thought there was a slight misunderstanding from bjs employees but Ray came to the bottom of it and resolved the issue. GOD BLESS!

It's a wholesale club, the only one here in the area. My mother inlaw has a Sam's Club membership so I've been in both. BJ's is closer, Sam's is too far, side by side? I prefer Costco... BJ's is best for me, been a member over ten years, no issues with them

I wish I didn’t have to put in one star because it isn’t worth it. Unfortunately I am disabled and use food stamps, but this is totally unacceptable. I had a friend go shopping for me because of the back pain I suffer with. I have worked hard since I was 14 and I am appalled that my friend had to go through what just happened! I kindly asked him to pick up a rossiter chicken and toliet paper. I know damn well I have to pay for the things that are not covered but Cashier number #472528 decided that he would tell the rest of the store that he was using food stamps. Listen you little worm if I could work I would have your job. You are probably a spoiled child who has had everything handed to you! Don’t ever make fun of someone because only with the grace of god go we!

Good selection of food. My only complaint is that they don’t provide carts for special needs children. If this store started doing that they would get 4 stars. Please start providing Caroline’s Carts.

Compare the items on your website to the items I purchase at the store. A double pack of cream cheese. You charge $11 for I pay $6 and I won't go on with the rest of the items that I compared. You are way too expensive.

Although the store in itself is good, the additional services of gas and propane are lacking greatly. Most anytime you come to get gas there is a significant line, mostly because people stop at the very entrance to wait instead of finding a pump and waiting. No BJ’s staff intervene and it takes forever to move. Especially seeing that the pumps are moving but no one can see which are empty. Extremely irritating. It takes 20-30 mins just to get gas.Propane, takes forever especially when the worker is nowhere to be found even after ringing the bell several times.Sometime you wait 15-20mins just to get someone to fill.They have to do better.

This is the second time I have had product damaged when using PICK UP at BJ’s educating staff on managing delicate products is needed to avoid situations like mineThe PICK Up service is great for customers that are unable to do their own shopping.The employee was sweet and I wish I would have noticed where the eggs had been placed prior to leaving BJ’s.

Love coming to this store, love shopping and the deals. When leaving got to observe a great sight. The lady checking receipts had a line and there were TWO managers there watching her do her job with a long line of customers. They failed to be good managers and help an emplot, instead they watched at talked. Mark, the meat manager, and the female regional manager standing there watching the line of customers. Not good management skills and not someone I would trust as a regional manager. BJ's please fix these two attitudes so I can come to your stores again!

Selection is great. Employees... not so much. I was talked down to by the self scan guy because I didn't put my chips in the cart after scanning them with the handheld. He even voided the item after that and ignored that I had heavier things in the cart after those chips in the 2 for $6.68 bag that never scans on the scale anyway. Like go back to chatting with your coworker and stop pretending to care.

Great store. I can find good deals in bulk on my organic items as well as many gifts and household items. I've been a member since they opened 17 years ago. Try it out if you haven't already.

Prices are very good when you have a coupon and fair when you do not. You must check the unit pricing to compare accurately and properly assess the value. The selection is very limited and if your are not going to use the quantity necessary to realize a savings, shopping here can be wasteful. We have the membership that pays 2% back. We manage to pay for our membership with the rebate. Bottom line: You can do well here if you pay attention. It takes some effort, but it is worth it.

Clean store. Friendly staff. But I just feel that its the BJs that gets the leftovers. You never see things like Poland Spring water, its always deer park. Never the best flavor of a brand always second best. Deli is awesome here. Bakery too. Produce is a little tired, I just think its the sizes are just too large, seems the store does not move enough product. In the dairy I'm always finding outdated yogurt. frozen offers a great selection. Seems like they removed anything auto-related. Also, what they offer in their electronics departments, sad to say, is probably the highest prices around the area. But I do like shopping there.
