Deli and grill offers great food at very reasonable prices. Ice cream is homemade and delicious

Adorable shoppe and store in a quaint area. The only reason for 4 stars is there was no vanilla ice cream, so not everyone in our party could get something. Oh, and the grille was closed, but that was due to staff call outs on a holiday weekend (according to signage). Excellent prices for the portions, and no extra for the waffle cone! There is a $0.50 upcharge for waffle bowls though, which is, again, very reasonable! Overall great experience and we will be back!

Went there by recommendation. The Ice Cream was extremely creative and good. It is a lovely place and the price for ice cream is very reasonable. The bathroom is very clean. Seating is abundant, indoor and outdoor. There is a candy and gift shop in the back. The staff is very friendly and the portions are huge. Single is a double.

Loved the ice cream. There is a great variety of flavors at a great price. There is also a section in the back of the ice cream shop that has candy, souvenirs, toys for little kids etc. It definitely gets pretty busy but it is worth the wait.

Stopped in while walking through Strausburg. We had the chicken salad sandwich and ice cream. Both were good. The place is really cool with an old school vibe. It's a creamery, deli, candy, and tchotchke store. The one thing we noticed was that service was slow, but it looked like they were understaffed so I wouldn't hold it against them. It's a worthwhile stop.

We had a great time eating ice cream and browsing around the candy shop. It's a beautiful building, and looks like it has deep history. The staff were friendly and the service was great! There was also a selection of sandwiches available. The location is very cool too, there are neat little shops all around. We will be back for sure!

I always look for opportunities to support small local businesses wherever I travel and this charming stop in Strasburg PA was well worth it. Locally made ice cream in a variety of flavors including several vegan options. Delightful local crafts, souvenirs and honey, old fashioned candies and nostalgic toys available to shop while you wait.

What a great little shop and creamery! The decor is nice, and takes you a little back in time. There are plenty of sweet options to purchase, from fudge. A wide selection of candies, as well as their home made ice cream. There are are other non sweet selections, from toys. Gifts, jams, and food for those without a sweet tooth.I ordered a chocolate banana milkshake, which was delicious. My wife ordered a sundae with vinella ice cream; also delicious.Definitely worth a stop!

Yummy ice cream and food! We stop here a few times a year when we're in the area. Check out the old soda fountain behind the counter - now modified with a modern soda machine, but still cool.In the Fall - pumpkin ice cream in a homemade waffle cone! Also, love the Reuben! It smells amazing in there when they are making the waffle cones. There's a small parking lot on the side of the building, with an outdoor seating area (in addition to about 6 booths inside). Only one bathroom, though.

Great old time restaurant and ice cream shop. The staff dress in white shirts with black bow ties. The ice cream is made on the premises and is very creamy. You know a ice cream store is good when you just open the door and there is that sweet smell of cream and ice cream that just hits you. This is that kind of place. The young man that made my hot fudge sundae is after my own heart, he put so much hot fudge into the ice cream sundae! He put it at the base of the cup. After he added the ice cream he put another layer of hot fudge over the top of that and then he put whipped cream on and he added even more hot fudge over the top of it oh yes just wonderful!!!!!!

Nice old fashioned ice cream place. The ice cream is in fact excellent. I had a peanut butter cone and it was legit. They have food too. The store environment is very kid friendly. There's seating within and immediately outside. Nice to walk around in the nice weather with a cone. The surrounding area has opportunities for antiquing and looking at historic houses.

Awesome Angus burgers, finished off with what they call a 'Piggyback', which is a milkshake with a sundae on top. Our choice was a teaberry milkshake with vanilla ice cream and sundae trimmings. . Fabulous!

Will always pay Strasburg Creamery a visit (or a few) when I take a trip to Lancaster. They have the most amazing and fresh ice cream flavors. Made two trips there this past weekend. Always has been a family favorite!

Great place to grab some delicious ice cream. It took me quite a few minutes to decide on a flavor. Feel free to ask for samples to help you decide. If you are questioning whether or not to get a waffle cone...get one! They are homemade and perfect! Can’t wait to go back and try some more flavors.

If you're looking for PA's famous teaberry ice cream, it can be found here! You either really like it, or don't, as it was so in our household. So give it a try when in PA, because you can't find it in many places!

Neat little ice cream parlor. They had a candy section as well. The ice cream was all hand made in house and delicious! Great variety of flavors. The cold brew coffee was good and the manager was very friendly. Will be returning here next time we are in the area for sure!

This was a bittersweet experience for our family. We came specifically to Strasburg, PA following the Arlington burial -- because we had heard so often about his wanting to take a road trip on a whim from North Carolina to get ice cream in downtown Strasburg. We had to come find this place that we are sure is the one he came to often through the years. When we walked up to the counter and the young man working behind it asked if we'd been there before, I told him we had not I continued that there was a story behind this and my husband would have to tell it, because I would not be able to without crying. After tasting the delicious ice cream, we enjoyed perusing the store and then visiting an antique shop down the street. Hopefully we will get to come back another time when we are less emotionally drained and have a little more time.

Despite the good reviews, friendly service, great location and restored building and soda fountain, the most important element - the ice cream - was entirely lacking.Specifically, it was icy throughout and unpleasantly dry.My wife liked her mint chocolate chip ice cream okay.Nothing worth a return visit and further funds.

Definitely a must visit place! Tons of ice cream flavours and dessert options, along with drinks and sandwiches. The location is perfect, with ample space for indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is really friendly and courteous, and the stuff is not too expensive.

Old school charm of a classic vintage ice cream parlor. The food is good! The store is alot of fun. Wheelchair accessible from side entrance. Check out the cool library book wallpaper in the public bathroom. Get the peanut butter ice cream.

DELICIOUS!!DELICIOUS!!The best ice cream I have eaten. I wanted to buy another one after eating the first. It's that good. If you visiting PA but it your GPS... you will not be disappointed. You can taste the creaminess and it was under $12 for 3 small ice cream ( you get two scoops) plus no charge for sugar cone.. it's free people!!!

Nostalgic old charm, meets incredible ice cream... And a nice little deli. We actually ate lunch and came back later for ice cream. They also have different kinds of old candy and homemade fudge. This has been added to our must stop list while in the Lancaster area.

**Edit - Manager followed up, very apologetic and provided gift cert for future visit. Not sure why everything signwise they have says they serve food until 7pm on Fri and Sat, as we got here at 630 on Sat evening to get dinner and girl at counter says "oh we're not serving food anymore tonight, just ice cream." Fine, just update all your signage to reflect that.

I grew up going to this place. The hand made waffle cones were the best! They have now stopped making their waffle cones and are purchasing them. Only great thing is they still have hand made waffle dishes. I strongly suggest you bring back the handmade waffle cones as well. This along with your ice cream is what set you apart from other ice cream shops in the area. I was disappointed you ran out of snickers ice cream.
