I travel all around Pennsylvania and stop at Rutters on a regular basis. This one is by far the worst deli!!! Everything is just thrown together. You can tell they didn’t care. I also ordered a side of the chicken corn soup. Absolutely worst I’ve ever had nothing compared to Wawa.

This place not only has everything you could need in one stop but is also off the beaten path & away from the hustle/bustle. Everything is always well stocked and restrooms are clean. It does get busy @ lunch tyme and that is why I removed a star. There is much to choose from including fresh hot/cold sandwiches and meals .If you plan it and avoid the lunch rush you will be happy and satisfied. Thanks 4 reading my review now stop time wasting and go get yourself a big gulp and meatball hero🥤🥪😃✌

Upon heading back home from a visit to Strasburg, I was looking for a place to gas up.I usually use the back way via Rte 741 to Strasburg Pike to Rte 462 to access Route 30/283 West to avoid all the traffic lights and congestion in the shopping district on Rte 30.I found this Rutters which was in a convenient location, was able to gas up ...the inside of the store was clean and organized. It was a short drive from this Rutters to reach 741 in downtown Strasburg to continue my trip toward home.To sum up, I will continue to use this Rutters on future visits to the area.

short old white lady manager very rude. should not be a manager. received an egg sandwich with a barely warm egg, 2 slices of completely cold cheese, completely solid too, on top of cold ham, not even room temperature. i’ve never heard of an egg ham and cheese sandwich with cold ham and cheese and the egg was not hot enough to even make the sandwich warm. so i asked for it to go in the microwave and she got an attitude about it, started aggressively throwing trash and whispering under her breath. thankfully got a new one made tho🙏🏼

Wow! I should've read the reviews before coming here! These are the worst shrimp tacos I ever got from Rutters! And I've ordered them from numerous different Rutters locations in different towns! And this is hands down the worst! I know quality can be hit or miss at some places, but this is terrible! By the looks of these reviews if the owner cares anything about this establishment he or she needs a major overhaul of employees! Get people in there who care and can do the job!

Spent $20 on food at the food counter. I got a BLT wrap, a personal pizza, 2 tornados and Mac and cheese bites. The BLT didn't even have bacon on it and was soggy/soupy with mayonnaise. The pizza was edible but the red sauce was gross!! The crust and the pieces of fried chicken because it was the only parts that tasted good. The cashier who ran me out was super rude.

this place never gets my order right and is the slowest convenience store food ive ever ordered from. every single time i go here i never leave with everything i ordered. this time i order a whole sub and was only given half. last time i ordered two fries and they completely forgot about the other one. if you’re looking for speed and accuracy, this is not the place.

wow. just wow. I ordered a small Mac and cheese with extra bacon, a small fried pickles, a cotton candy furreal milkshake, and 2 bags of krack corn and they charged me over 40 dollars. it should have been about 25$ if even that. and they did nothing about it.

The cashier's and friendly and helpful. Their food is always good! Honestly had the best hash brown wrap of my life there the other day. A step above other gas stations.

We live in the area and often go here for a bite to eat even though sometimes you do need to wait awhile. The people at the front desk are always super friendly. However, the people that work behind the food counter are obviously not trained very well. We went there on 7/21/20 and we were very upset when we got home to discover the Mac and cheese bites and the egg rolls were frozen! The taco was flat as a pancake with barely any toppings but filled with sauce. We will return here because we do love their food but next time we will just need to check the bag before we go home.

The place has good food, but The employees can get overwhelmed if there are like 15 orders which isnt their fault. Some people get mad at them byt don't realize that they have to do like 30 other things at the same time, and the fact that we the customers order whole meals sometimes and get mad when it takes a long time. I live near the area and when the employees aren't getting swamped the food is quick and nicely done

I have stopped here several times. It's okay for gas and to use the restroom ( which this time was not very clean) . I picked up a sandwich and chips... almost $8.00! It was also not very good, so next time I'll pass on something to eat.

This place wouldn't be so terrible if it wasn't for the fact that the employees are under qualified. Why most of them were even hired in the first place is beyond me. They most likely didn't get trained, and if they did, then that is very sad. They make no effort whatsoever to get customers orders correct. The food presentation is very sloppy and they don't add most of the toppings you requested on certain items. They even charged me money for toppings they didn't give me. What a complete waste of money! If you want made to order food, Go to Sheetz instead. At least there, they care about their job and do it well.

I live close by and have gone here for quite some time. The people at the front desk are really nice. The employees at the food counter always work on anything but your food order. If you order something that needs to be prepared, be ready to wait 15-20 minutes for it. I just waited 15 minutes for 2 corndogs and a sandwich.

I used to love this place but now I hate it the food is slow on top of that they don't wear masks all of them in the store have a tag that says they can't wear one will never be going here again! They could at least wear face shields that doesn't restrict breathing. I work in the medical field too so it's very important for me to feel safe by not having someone who could have the virus breathing all over my food! Food line should have a mask and gloves or at very least a face shield. I am very ashamed of you guys and expected better !!!!!!!

My family and I have been going to this Rutters for a few years now and it was great, but tonight, they have just lost three customers. Not only did we have to wait FOREVER for our food, the portions were way too minimal and barely enjoyable. It was not fresh at all or warm. For a “regular” size onion ring order, I only got FOUR! Not to mention the terrible and untrained staff.Our time of going to this Rutters has come to an end. Do not go here!!

went in today around 10:30am. Ordered myself a breakfast croissant and submitted the order by 10:33. I waited over 25 minutes for the sandwhich. To top it off, i was eating the sandwhich in my car... i ate the first half and it was okay. I took one bite out of the second half and found a white hair in the sandwhich....... never coming here for food again. 🙄

Always clean, management is friendly and cares what the customer thinks. Ice cream is a little messy and bare but love their food service. Fried chicken sandwich, cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce is the best!

I would give a zero star rating if I could. There workers are high and half drunk Saturday nights. They messed our food up. Got frozen fish. Would not recommend getting food here over the wkn.

ONLY ONE percent of these cashiers will smile at you! And they don't card their friends and family for beer as they should. They Eat food at register while on the clock and cough and spit crumbs on you while demanding you wear a mask. Good thing this is a gas station your employees are at their full potential! Yuck !

I'm a regular at this rutters but now I dont think I will be. I ordered food and while I was waiting i saw that the person making my salad was coughing. She wasnt wearing a mask even though her cough was really bad. Also they didnt have enough supplies to the point my single salad was placed into 2 different containers. I asked for fries, salad and boneless chicken and was the only person there and it took about half an hour because the employee making the food would go into coughing fits.I got my order but I threw away my food, I did not feel comfortable eating it or sharing it with my husband.In the last few months my orders have been wrong or incomplete but I understood that they were busy but there is no excuse for what happened now.

This was a great place for us to get gas and some quick MTO food as we got to our nearby motel late and wanted a quick bite to take back to our room. The MTO food was surprisingly good, especially the Anzac style meat pies. The place also sells some alcoholic beverages as well. Some interesting people come in there, looking like the same type of people you would see at Walmart but they are generally harmless.

Most times I have no issues at this store, the product selection is good, food is what I'd expect for a gas station quality, and no concerns with employee attitudes... like I dont care if you smile or not, just dont be rude, but a neutral expression is fine by me. However this evening I went to purchase gasoline and a tin of nicotine pouches. As I mentioned the brand and flavor, I could tell she was gonna ask for ID and said "ah your gonna ask for ID, I can tell by the way you're looking at me." As a 26 year old, I'm just used to not having my ID ready because some people dont ask at other stores, some do if they question my age. No problem I am of age.. I proceeded to hand my ID to the lady and she scanned it, and then said she didnt feel comfortable selling me the pouches and denied the sale. She stated that the ID "felt too thick." I said "but it scanned right?" She said " it scanned but feels thick." Being confused, I accepted my fate and left to pump gas. I didn't realize my DMV issued license was too thick for her liking. She never had an issue with the exact same ID when she sold me alcoholic beverages in past visits. Also as a 26 year old, making a fake ID for myself is pointless. Perhaps she didnt like my initial comment, but I digress.

I came into the store on 8/3. I stopped in during my break at work, which was about 10:45am. I had ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. My ticket time was approaching 15 minutes, so I asked someone behind the counter if they were working on it, only for them to discover that they didn't see the order on their screen due to an employee error. They prepared my order and handed it to me and politely apologized. I walked from the counter and opened the bag to check my order because it seemed light, and they only put 1 sandwich in and didn't finish the rest of the order. I waited another 10 minutes to get the rest. By the time I left it was 11:10, so it exhausted my entire break and i didn't get a chance to eat anyhow. The one girl behind the counter was pretty much clueless as to what she was doing, and the other woman working with her stepped in to help identify her mistakes but didn't step in to help get my order to me faster. This is the worst experience I have had at one of these stores, and I can stay that I won't be going back for some time.

Overall I just like this area so Rutter's belongs there and it is a Gas ⛽. Both open 24/7. Color magazines right at the exit or entrance so you can grab one if you bored and passing by the area.Wide selection of alcoholic beverages that ends at 2 Am. Also if you want to spruce up your slushes with some % is available. But I think they have different hours for vine so please ✔️ on their website. Look for Strasburg Pa location. Variety of products they sell like groceries fresh and frozen, auto, health, few beauty, office, phone, glasses, cigarettes, toys, gift cards and others. Get fresh made food, hot and cold.ATM 🏧 at your service. From Lincoln Hwy E it's a 10 min drive depends on the day and time. I use to stay in this area and now I like to go there whenever I want to feel good.

Very slow. I always wait more then 15 minutes for my food. Today crossed the line. The guy behind the counter preparing my food had half of his underwear hanging out. When I went to the front counter to cancel my order and gave my reason why, seemed like no one cared. I will never get anything at rutters anymore. They don’t care about there customers.

Ordered mozzarella sticks and a vanilla shake. The wait time wasn't to bad. The guy mumbled the order numbers when he was done and I could make much better milkshakes at home.
