Where else can you find double-dip homemade ice cream on a waffle cone for less than six dollars? The sheer beauty of this place alone makes it worth visiting. This is a top-notch place to bring the kids! This is a working farm. I was particularly taken by the pack of German Shepherd puppies on the farm (who had plenty of room to run around). The ice cream has a stringy quality while being almost overly sweet. Only to find out that the producers use both artificial sweeteners and high-fructose corn syrup.I’m not sure why small-scale farmers would find this necessary. The ice cream would taste better if they eliminated these products while also providing a great selling point.

The ice cream and ambiance at Cremary were both delightful, with plenty of parking available and ample space to enjoy the delicious ice cream comfortably. I visited in early February during the evening and observed many locals, indicating its popularity in the area.My visit was part of a search for an authentic spot, and I felt fortunate to have stumbled upon this place. It was a hit with the entire family. The charm of Cremary isn’t confined to its delicious ice cream and cozy atmosphere alone. The surrounding area enhances the experience with its open green spaces that invite relaxation and leisure. The presence of a children’s playground adds a joyful note, suggesting it’s a place where families can linger and children can play. With an expansive grassy field and a rustic backdrop featuring farm buildings and grazing land, Cremary feels like a delightful escape to the countryside. Its pastoral setting, complete with chickens roaming freely, offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. It’s clear that this establishment is a gem for both locals and visitors, providing not just a treat for the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes with its serene landscape.

As always, the black raspberry two scoop, on a waffle cone was delicious... Just hits different on a hot day. Lots of stuff to choose from inside the store, including locally harvested stuffs and milk. Lots of snacks besides ice cream or shakes...Today was the first time I used their drive up window, and only did so because I was in a hurry. Service comes with a smile from a pleasant person behind the counter.I've had their cheeseburger soup before, and it was also very very good.

We loved this find while visiting Amish country last week! We were traveling all the back roads and viewing the beautiful Amish farms when we ran across this place. It is LOVELY! Beautiful views, tasty and rich ice cream and products in their store, and fun for the kids with the many animals and playground on site. This Amish owned business has a farmhouse on property and I enjoyed watching them and their children interact…many that came over to the playground to play around closing time. Darling kids. They have a calf, baby goats, chickens, and even two litters of puppies on the property as of last week. We visited twice while there for the week…love black raspberry and butter pecan.

Excellent ice cream spot! Super Amish establishment. Cute playground with animals to look at. They had baby goats when we were there which were so cute and let you pet them at the fence. Small play area for little kids. Staff is super friendly and kind. Can't wait to go back! Great customer service as well!

My daughter and I happened upon this place as I was traveling down the scenic country road looking for something to do as we were consigning some clothing items. As I turned down the long lane I had no idea what was in store for us. They had a beautiful playground with goats to feed which kept my daughter entertained. She rolled down the hills of the lush, green grass and played on the multiple playgrounds. When we went inside we were treated to some of the best ice cream I have ever had. That is saying a lot as I normally prefer soft serve over hard dipped ice cream. If you live in or are visiting Lancaster County, this place is a must try. When we were in the parlor we met a sweet couple from New Jersey who came to the place based on recommendations. I don’t blame them. Not only is it a good atmosphere outside with benches, farm animals and playground equipment; the ice cream is top notch. We live far away and will be heading into winter soon, but trust me when I say I’ll be back soon!

Its not just about the delicious locally-made ice cream...its about an experience…”down on the farm”Family owned, Amish operated creamy, established in 2018. Even the youngest little girl has a small task in the shop!A wide selection of ice cream is manufactured on the premises from their herd and is served in a beautiful new yet rustic store. Several other dairy products, including cheese, are displayed in large fridges. The creamery is located on a real working farm where children can play safely and even feed the goats and calves…all this while everyone can enjoy the most delicious ice cream around. Seating is available in the store, on the porch and outside under umbrellas. The word “peaceful” comes to mind, no matter where one finds a spot to relax and drink in the ambience on this beautiful property.Sadly, this place is no longer a secret kept by the locals...it’s a busy place, especially on weekends. However, there is plenty of parking for standard vehicles.

What an awesome little place! After riding the Strasburg Train, I was thinking, man I would love some milk straight from the farm... and some ice cream. We pulled this place up. Funny, it's a little bit off the main road and I thought, it seems like they would want to be on the main strip. Turns out I'm glad it wasn't... It was a beautiful little drive there. The grounds and little store are quaint, clean and so welcoming. There's a little play area for the kids and some goats you can feed. Even a couple insanely cute baby goats (kids). Oh, and the milk and ice cream were delicious!

Great atmosphere, a long farm driveway leading to a goat pen and drive thru ice cream stand, or go into the store for some milk, cheese, root beer (new offering) and gallons of dessert. About 20 flavors to choose from for your cone.Watch the labels though, only the natural vanilla was really natural.Kid-friendliness: Goat farm with coin-machines to feed the animals.

Down on the Farm Creamery is an Amish-owned family farm just south of Strasburg. They sell their own milk and yogurt. They have raw milk as well, which is what our family prefers. The ice cream is awesome. There are also farm animals penned nearby and a feed dispenser so the kids can feed the goats and calves. They sell pumpkins in the fall and have a drive up window for milkshakes.

The scenery is beautiful and peaceful.5. Great play area for the kids!

The fresh in season blueberry milkshake was awesome and the bacon horseradish spreadable cheese was so mouthwatering with pretzels. The service was impeccable. I asked where I could buy ice and the two girls quickly scooped me two bags up and said you can buy it here. Such a sweet place.

This Creamery is a wonderful place to visit. The gardens are beautiful, there are farm animals, a playground, and homemade ice cream created in delectable flavors right on the dairy farm. The value is terrific and the prices are reasonable. I am a New Yorker, and I was floored by the quality and excellent value of the products. It is well worth a visit.
