The Stevens ville dollar general has always been a clean pleasant experience.. they almost always have the items I'm looking. Always have had good interactions with the employees... just wish there was cell service in the area so when I forgot my list or can't find it I could call home on my cellphone and find out what I needed.. but there's no cell service in the area.. I'd go to the Stevens ville store before I would go to the dollar general in wyalusing.. wyalusing dollar general.. has dirty floors.. Isles blocked off with carts of mertiondise needed to be stocked.. never has the stuff I need in stock.. and the wyalusing store also has young school.kid aged employees who finds it appropriate to have the radio in the store turned up. And yelling across the store to each other.. so say what you want but I'd go to the Stevens ville dollar general. Before I'd go to the wyalusing one..

Started out to be a wonderful store. Now they close whenever (today I called at 5pm) and was told they are closed due to lack of staff--the employee who answered said she is the only one there. Some staff are helpful, but others are unconcerned. The last time I was in there one employee was moving items from one freezer to another freezer and was incredibly busy. Since I saw no one upon entering store I asked if she was the only one working as I was ready to check out. She said the other employee was up front. Went to check out (I could hear someone talking in the office), waited, not quietly, while putting my items on area to be checked out, rang bell. Waited a decent amount of time--all the while hearing talking, then rang bell louder. An employee came out, with a phone to her ear, and started checking me out. The entire time she kept her conversation going, & never spoke to me. The least she could have done was explain that her call was important or smile?

Curious as to why your doors are locked just after 9 pm Sunday, when your sign says you are open 8 am to 10 pm? All the lights are on but the doors are locked. No sign saying closed or why and this is not the first time this has happened....
