Words can’t explain how grateful I am to have ended up here. My puppy unexpectedly went into kidney failure, and not only did he receive excellent care, but the staff was there to comfort me as well. They got me in as soon as I called them to say he wasn’t eating, literally immediately. Their hugs and reassurance that it wasn’t my fault got me through what was perhaps the worst day of my life. They’ve also called to see how he’s doing, and got almost as emotional as me when they got to see him again doing better. These ladies provide excellent care and genuinely care about your pet. The staff were personable, they treated my puppy very kindly and even got down on the ground to play with him. They made his appointment quick and easy and answered all of our questions and concerns. The check in and out process was a little bit glitchy and took a bit of time, but the receptionist tried her best to make it quick!

Easy same day scheduling for urgent care for my cat. Facility was very clean. Staff was friendly and took great care of my cat. The vet was also wonderful with him and the information and instructions she gave us was conveyed to us so that we had a solid understanding of how to care for him at home. They also texted me a few days later to check on him. Very happy with the service!

Absolutely LOVE all of the staff here. Everyone is so kind and caring. They handle your fur babies just as if they are their fur babies. Upfront and honest all together. It’s a great feeling to know whoever is examining your fur baby is taking everything serious. I always tell friends /acquaintances to contact Vetco when needed.Dr. Goldstein is amazing, sweet, down to earth and smart. She knows exactly what she’s talking about! She is extremely smart and is great at what she does. (Dr. Schulz definitely found the right one to take her place.) So blessed to have found the perfect vet office and staff. Thank you for all that you do!

This office is top notch! Professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient, (plus 100 more great attributes). I used another vet for 15 years and switched to VETCO and can not be happier. They are a perfect fit for me and my dog. Dr. Sydney always goes the extra mile for my rescued Rottweiler. She is always exceptionally kind and compassionate towards him (and me). She is knowledgeable, thorough, gives excellent advice on how to help him live his best life, takes that time to talk through pros and cons of every option (whether it be regarding his medications or treatment plans), always follows up and is, without a doubt, the best DVMD I have ever had for any of my furry family members! Her staff is absolutely exceptional as well! They know what they are doing, are all extremely kind and my dog loves them all!

Great service for a very difficult dog! Dr. Goldstein is the best vet we have had experience with so far— extremely patient and friendly, and eager to help with overall advice related to my dog’s diet. I hope she will stay for good at Vetco.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this veterinary office. The doctors and entire staff are gentle, compassionate, responsive, caring and knowledgeable. The quality of care is excellent. They are thorough, skilled, patient and take the time to explain everything that they suggest doing, what they are doing and options for what can be done. Most of all...they treat the animals with love...as if they were their own. I would and do recommend them to everyone and anyone

Vet lacks professionalism. Had a SPAY scheduled and they called the day before and canceled due to lack of medication. Never called to reschedule. I finally called after weeks waiting and the cost estimation increased due to our puppy getting bigger (no shocker) but this was a cancellation ON THEM. Decided to spay at a different vet and the cost was HALF the price they quoted me at Vetco.I also received medical notes and the notes taken by the vet were very unprofessional, noted that my husband was "creepy" and was never at any appointments!Needless to say we will never be going back and I discourage anyone else to attend...there are better vets in State College and surrounding areas.

They lost their ferret vet, which sucked. I really liked her. Also, they don't take on any actual issued with my ferrets. Wouldn't see my ferret for an infected tooth. I had to go to a different vet.

We took our cat there for the first time today, and the experience was extraordinary!! They were so considerate and very professional. You can tell they very much value and care for animals. Definitely recommending them to anybody I know that has pets. Will definitely be our permanent Vet!!

Cooper always enjoys coming to see his friends. I love the individual attention he receives and the staff is always, always so kind to us both. They explain things well and allow many questions without making me feel stupid

This is an excellent practice that provides thorough and friendly care for all animals, even my super-scared dog that can bite (he never does with them). They are also connected to an ER that doesn't make you make an appointment for emergency care- ridiculous! I can't recommend them more highly.

I was interested in a ballpark cost for a surgical procedure for my pet - so I asked the vet techs.They were very nice, helpful, but recommended that I talk with the Vet who wasn't there just then.
