I wanted to try a chicken oyster. It was delicious and served with mustard sauce. The cinnamon pancakes were also mouth watering. They were sweet but not too sweet. Macchiato was miniature. Not what I'm used to. The waitress warned me when I ordered. I ended up getting a regular coffee as well. Service was 5 stars. My waitress was warm and friendly. The place was busy and was getting busier before I left. I would definitely eat there again.

I love this little cafe, I would say the food here is an absolute 10/10. Everything arrives to the table in a timely manner and it is fresh and delicious. The hot chocolate we ordered even was decorated like a cute little bear. However, this is a very popular cafe and is always busy and you are going to wait. We had to wait outside for about 45 minutes and our server wasn’t the nicest and I felt a little rushed. But overall I still love this place and will be back again!Parking: There is parking around the building but that ends up filling pretty quickly and people end up parking along the road across.

Lots of variety on the menu, which is neat.Execution of crab cake Benedict was mixed. A little dry, but had ranchero style seasoning which was interesting. I think the muffin underneath should have been toasted more.Pancakes were a little dry, but I enjoyed them.Corned beef hash is a major draw and I highly recommend it -- thin shred on the beef and potatoes, nice crust, and had some green onions or something similar in the mix. Very tasty.Service was bad. Waited nearly ten minutes for first contact with waiter; drink order didn't come until the food. Never offered a coffee refill, and never received the requested hot sauce or syrup. I had to get up and find some myself. (Come to think of it, never saw the waiter again until the check came.)Overall, charming location, a bit expensive for the quality, but you can at least save on the tip.Probably won't go again soon, but probably will go again, particularly once the patio is open.

Perfect little cafe away from campus and downtown! The delicious food always comes out quickly and very fresh. Prices are awesome too. However, parking is not ideal and be prepared to have a decent wait time - the building is small and can only accommodate so many people. Parking across the street is common, so just be mindful of those two things. Overall, great spot for brunch!

Wonderful place for breakfast. I was worried with all the bad reviews claiming false things. But after getting my food, I have to say it was a great experience. I came on the Sunday at 10 and there was about a 10 minute wait which isn’t bad. The restaurant is located on the outskirts of State College. The parking lot fills quick so people usually park on the other side of the road.Hash bowl (10/10): amazing breakfast combo. For only $10 too… such a great price and a great dish. I loved the spicy sauce and everything inside. It all worked together. Probably one of my favorite breakfast dishes I’ve ever had.Waffle (9/10): great waffle, not as good as the waffle shop though but still good.Banana bread (9/10): great. The bread was moist on the inside and had good flavors. Came out warmHome fries (7/10): average home fries, nothing special. Kinda lacked seasoningOverall, great experience. Everything came out to $30 which I thought was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back! Probably my favorite place for breakfast now in the area.

This is a cute little place for quality breakfast. The location is a bit far from State college, almost on the outskirts. The place was fairly busy when we visited them but managed to get a seat without any waiting.I tried their waffle with fruits plus a Cafe latte. The waffle was fine and the fruits (banana, strawberry and blueberries) were fresh. The service was quick and staff were very helpful.A great location for quality breakfast.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here! The menu has a lot of interesting food options. I really enjoyed my "hash bowl", and my girlfriend enjoyed her waffle and sides. The coffee and tea options available are a huge perk over, say, the waffle shop, because they offer lattes/cappuccinos along with milk substitutes (oat, almond).Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly. We plan on coming again to try their homemade corn beef hash as well as some of their dishes involving smoked salmon/crab which piqued our interest.

Worth the small trip away from Penn State campus! My wife I loved the quality of the freshness and quality of the food. My wife had a vegetable omelette and I had the Florentino Eggs Benedict. We mutually agreed best tasting breakfast around!

We've always wanted to try this place, but since we're normally up in State College on football weekends, the waits are usually too long. However, we happened to be up in April on a random weekend so we stopped for breakfast on Sunday. It was mid morning on an overcast day, and it was still an hour wait. The place is not very big, and with the parking lot full we had to park along the main road (PA 26).Once we were seated though, we ordered and the food came out pretty quickly. We had the Crab Benedict, Huevos Rancheros, Biscuit and Gravy, and a side of loaded tots. Loaded tots were basic, but everything else was delicious. My only complaint was the amount of salsa on the Huevos Rancheros was a big temperature contrast to the rest of the plate, so it caused the food to come out only lukewarm.

Horrible table placed right next to a pillar with a foot between it and the table and everyone wants to try to squeeze on through like it's normal to get that close to strangers, don't touch me I'm trying to eat. Waited a hour to get our order with a nearly empty OJ and empty coffee mug on the table (OJ WAS FIRE) had to flag down a different person to take care of anything and then they messed up my girls order and somehow made English muffins more bland pretty consistent service for central PA the worst in the country

Loved the place and found many fans around me after sharing on Facebook. Great atmosphere and service. Food tastes good, and the fresh orange juice was reviving. Great experience and much recommend

Usually when I come here it is great. The food is fantastic and the people are usually very nice. The female servers are god sends but there’s a male server, I think his name is Nelson, who was very rude to me. When he brought food to the table he asked if all of it was for me, instead of for me and my boyfriend. I also paid and he did not address me, he addressed my boyfriend when talking even though I was paying with my card. When he did start talking to me he talked to me like I was stupid. It put me in a terrible mood and is making me want to stay away from the place. Go suck a naked egg Nelson.

Pros: you can find egg Benedict. Coffee is quite good. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Kind staffs.Cons: a bit slow service. Once we got foods on paper plates. Not many tables.Menu: egg benedicts are great. Home fries are kinda signature menu, but they are available only before 11am.Conclusion: this is less heavier than Waffle Shop. I will come for egg benedicts.

Naked Egg is a casual restaurant that serves breakfast all day. They also have lunch options such as salads, sandwichs, soups, etc. The mornings of the weekends is congested. I used to go hiking with my Latino community and end up having consumed all the calories we had burnt in one dish: steak an eggs.In this opportunity, my friend got for lunch an omelette and fruits and she got to choose the veggies inside the omelette.I got a salad without onions.Btw, i heard their tomato soup and grilled cheese is a must. So, that’s what I will get next time.If you can take a look on the menu before you get there, it would be great as they want to take your order as soon as you go in. Not bad, just efficient 😬.

Just amazing. My favorite brunch spot in state college. I'm particularly partial to the bacon and tots, but the egg sandwiches and pancakes are also delicious.

Such a popular place that it's crowded to navigate on two feet, let alone in a wheelchair or with a walker/cane. Accessible parking but during peak hours I would not bring someone with accessibility concerns here. Coffee menu is good, staff is great, really friendly and accommodating. Omelettes are FILLING.

Loved the food here. I can’t stop thinking about the apple pie latte or tea I got. I’m so tempted to call and ask for the recipe!

The food was very good. The one thing that stuck out to me was how good their white bread was?!? It can be difficult to get into on a weekend because it's busy, yet food came out in no time.I recommend the 'Hot Mess' and 'Eggs and Hash'. We also got the Hash Bowl, but that was more of a jumbled mess of Hispanic oriented food.A little pricey, ~$20 a person, for breakfast.Had to park on the side of the road. It's not a problem. Just know you're wasting time trying to find parking in their lot.

The espresso drinks are great! They don't leave a bitter taste. The food menu also doesn't disappoint. I've tried many dishes and they all were good. That's why I keep coming back.
