This store, in my opinion, is one of the top Penn State stores in downtown and here is why. It has the largest name brand “Penn State” clothing lines that include Nike, Under Armor and LuLu Lemon. The prices are not as discounted for the name brands but they are official items that are hard to find anywhere else. They also have unique items for sale here that include a rotating Penn State bar sign light and really nice corn hole sets. If you are looking for quality Penn State items this is the place.

This is such a great store to find all of your PSU merchandise. It is conveniently located and the store is spacious. We were looking for sweatshirts and sweatpants, we found everything we needed within a matter of few minutes. Highly recommend this place for all of your PSU gears!

One of the best stores to get anything PSU related. Mostly order online. Shipping is fast. Had to make a return once and the day the package got back to them, the credit was issued back to my card.They get most all my orders for everything. Will continue to use them !

This is clearly a tourist shop, and it's not even a good tourist shop. Everything is so stupidly overpriced, like there was a hoodie for 80$, and a PSU watch for 300$. Not even the most rich and gullible tourists should come and waste their money here.

I've been ordering from here via on-line sales for a while. My sister lives nearby, and on a recent trip, I finally got the opportunity to visit the store in person. Lots of great PSU merchandise. I wish I had taken more time to look around, but I needed to get back on the road for a long trip home! The staff was friendly and very professional. The prices are what you would expect for college merchandise although there are probably a few finds that are an exception. I'll be back soon I hope! Certainly recommend this if you are a Nittany Lions fan!

I grew up in the State College area and went to Penn State years ago, and my husband and I occasionally stop by this store when we’re back in town visiting family to restock on gear from our alma mater. But never again after our most recent visit. We took a number of items to the checkout, including a sweatshirt I had found on a 40% off rack. I even checked that there were multiple of the same shirt on the rack (which there were), because a few other single shirts looked like they had been randomly hung there by a customer. At the checkout, I asked if the shirt rang up on sale, and they said it didn’t. I told them it was on a 40% off rack and there were several of them there. The guy went over to look, found them, pulled the others off the rack and came back to tell me, “It’s not on sale, I don’t know why they were there, I can take it (meaning the shirt) off your purchase.” Remember the days when stores with good customer service would honor the discount or at least offer SOME sort of discount when an item was misplaced? I am very obviously not a struggling college student trying to screw you, not just because of my age but because we were purchasing $200 worth of merchandise (plus it was Christmas break). And on top of all that, a week later when I was wearing the sweatpants I bought there, I noticed the fuzzy lining was messed up, kind of splotchy on one leg. We will find another source for our Penn State gear, one with better quality control and customer service.

ur workers need to fix their attitude. (the girl w glasses and auburn hair near the fitting room) all i asked was a simple question. and she came out nasty. i dropped all my stuff and left. congrats u j lost a customer for life.

DON’T waste your time or money at this store. There are plenty of other Penn State merch shops that sell lululemon in State College with much better service. I shopped at this place on May 8, 2023 and there was a blonde older lady in her 70s-80s, if I were to guess, I who I’m pretty sure is racist.I wanted to try some thing on, so I went to find someone who worked at the store so I could use the dressing room. I politely asked and she responded with “sure I guess”. As we walked towards the dressing room, she asked if I had a backpack on me, insinuating that I would steal product from the store. Clearly I didn’t, I was carrying my wallet. I’m willing to bet money that if I were white and blonde, she would not have been so rude.As my luck would have it, she also stepped in to ring up my purchases. As to why I even bought something from this place, I don’t know. Anyway, she was standing next to this other cashier. He and I were briefly talking about something and when she asked me about what I was talking about, she was dismissive. Why would you even ask me if you didn’t want a response? The cashier standing next to her didn’t have the same attitude, but I have to wonder who in the world trained this woman, satan?I don’t care what the store policies are or what has happened in the past, you’re not selling gold at that place. You do not treat PAYING customers that way. If you don’t like the color of the skin, age or whatever your problem is with a customer, then don’t talk to me. Get another employee to help me. Racists should not work retail. Period.

The BEST prices and BEST selection of PSU apparel and home decor. I have been shopping here for 17 years and this place fails to impress. From their $10 t-shirts to the decently priced accessories has them hard to compete against. I do wish they still had the $7 T-shirts they used to offer, but such is inflation.

Love this store. The Best State merch online. Great and friendly staff. The only draw back I have, has nothing to do with them. If you want don't want to pay the shipping be prepaired to wait 15-17 days.I my case I live in AZ.. Might be quicker in your state. So all I can say is, pay a little moree to get the State merch quicker.

Great place to pick up some Penn State gear without breaking the bank. They have Penn State tee shirts for $10 as well as more expensive performance fabric gear and name brand gear. The staff are very helpful.

Wow! What a great selection of great Penn State merchandise! They literally have everything with a Penn State logo on it! It is even relatively cheap! One of the better places I go to to get Penn State clothing or things for around the house.

One of the best places downtown for Penn State gear. They always have a wide selection of designs and styles for shirts, jackets, etc.Their t-shirt section is of particular note as they have a great number of cheap t-shirts in every size and color.Their selections turn over pretty regularly as well, making it a good place to periodically pop in.

So many great things to choose from at The Family Clothesline! We recently stopped in to pick up an online order and it was mobbed because it was the first game of the season but the staff was super friendly and even offered their assistance as personal shoppers for patrons entering the store. I didn't have to wait in line because there were plenty of open registers - great planning on their part! You will find really unique Penn State merchandise and gifts here; from housewares to game day swag, you'll find it and more at the Family Clothesline!
