My opinion probably one of the best liquidation chains. Layout is the same, they have everything from dish soap to chocolate to car wiper blades, all with a big discount, and they are known brands too! Which is amazing!

I had to give a one star review, otherwise it would have been a big ZERO.Somewhat rude customer service. Tried to purchase an item because I was shocked how cheap it was. Turns out they ticketed them wrong and wouldn't sell the item to me for the price that was on the box.Ridiculous because it's not my fault something I wanted was ticketed wrong. I saw how good of a deal it was and I was excited to get the item for a very low price.Probably won't be back again because that really pissed me off.

1. No electric carts for the elderly and physically disabled. 2. Today, cashier would not place any of my purchases in bags. I had to carry them, and I’m disabled. I had my 80-year-old neighbor who came shopping with me. After she completed her shopping Trudy came to my car using profanity because the same cashier would not put her purchases in bags as well. She also didn’t ask if we had a rewards card too. This cashier was more concerned about placing price stickers on Dawn liquid detergent. I’ve shopped here ever since the store opened. I never knew of a cashier who thought customers should carry their purchases without bags. Are customers expected to bring their own bags now?

Good selection of rugs. But I had no one to help me with getting the one my mom wanted. Which happened to be on the bottom, (Or close to it) so I had to move each carpet one by one. Until got the one I wanted and had to put them all back. My self. I wasn't even supposed to leave the house that day. But I guess I got a work put instead.

I like the low prices and the unusual products that you can't find anywhere, especially their juices and drinks and energy drinks that cost much more elsewhere. There's also a good range of coffee and cereals and a surprising amount of good electronic gear for mobile systems and connecting things including earbuds and long connectors from chargers to different electronic items from phones to antennas. There are cat toys and dog toys and leads and paint and grooming care items, both electrical and in squeeze tubes and jars. There's a surprising amount of unique hemp laden shampoos and other cosmetics, dog and cat food and play toys too.

I usually don’t have a problem at this Ollie’s but I had one today. For some reason my credit card wasn’t being accepted so the cashier called for help, he was great but the male employee that came to help was not. I was confused as to why this was happening and he became extremely rude with me. Another employee tried to help and was very nice. I paid for the purchase another way but there was no reason for me to be treated like I was.

This is a nice place to go if you need something at a great price. It’s hit or miss if they are gonna have what you are looking for but it’s worth a trip to check it out.

I love this place. Sometimes you have two check and make sure everything is there, for example, I bought a hair kit that was supposed to come with shampoo, conditioner, and a hair serum but the serum was missing. It was still a bargain for the price though and I knew it was missing before I bought it because I checked so I didn't mind. My only real complaint is that I always end up spending way too much money .

Definitely worth a visit if anything. Sort of fun to walk around to see what they have. They are always getting new stuff, and once it's gone, it's gone, so all the stuff rotates in a way. It's got a lot of things that are on sale (sometimes really low prices compared to the original price, sometimes just a bit lower) that is sometimes name-brand, so it's not just off-brand cheap junk. Cool place! Again a warning, if you see something you like, get it, it might not be there next time!

I visited this Ollies on Oct. 22, 2021. I was very pleased! Two different men stocking shelves said hello and asked if I needed help finding anything specific. Back where the rugs are yet another young man was helping a woman with carpet selection. At check out, the young lady was also very polite and friendly. So refreshing! Keep up the good work Ollie's crew here in State College, PA.

The employees here are always very helpful and friendly. By Ollie's standards, this is one of the best organized stores I've been to. They always have great deals on coffee K-Cups and cleaning supplies.

I cannot say enough good things about Blake at the south Atherton store. You can tell that he is way more intelligent than the cashier position requires, yet he never ask like he is bored or too good for the job. He is always pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. If his work performance is any indication of what we swill see from him in the future, expect big things!

Be careful if you want a good deal.I purchased 5 16" hanging baskets that were on the discount summer display. When they were rung up they came up at full price. The lady told me that these ones don't count with the summer discount. I explained to her where I got them and she still continued to argue with me and told me the discount only applied to the ceramic pots.

Their slogan runs true: "Good Stuff Cheap". They have expanded certain lines of items they carry, such as chips and snacks and paints and stains. Don't go there specifically looking to buy something but while you are there you'll find a bunch of stuff you weren't even looking for. Plus they always have free coffee.

Sometimes deals can be had here, but a lot of the time the prices are not that good for what the quality of the items are. There is a lot of off-brand stuff here that no one else wanted, and they are priced at what you would expect off-brand items to be priced at; which is not really a savings at all. I was shocked to find a Dewalt brand air compressor here for a price that I thought was right on the edge of being a good deal. It had some damage on it but it didn't look too bad. I bought it but ended up returning it after I found that the cost of parts to repair it put it close to the cost of a brand new one. It also turned out that the unit was used and the inside of the tank was already rusted. The unit retails for $400 new, and this was sold for $250. This would have been a good deal if it didn't need $100+ worth of repairs and was in new condition. Being used was the deal breaker. I have a feeling that Ollies got this compressor for scrap value, and trying to sell it for $250 would have been a killing on their part. Even though they are a discount store, their margins seem to be enormous. The manager also told me that he didn't have the authority to reduce the price.

Walk into Ollie's and you are guaranteed to find a bargain or two. You do need to watch your prices, because everything is NOT a bargain. I picked up a book I had been wanting and paid 10 dollars less than the sale price on Amazon.The staff was very helpful and courteous. The store itself could use some housekeeping with products jumbled on the shelves in different places. But I have found enough bargains there not to care about a little bit of disorganization.
