The people were so nice. They really cared about Peanut. I wish vets were not so expensive though. They gave Peanut the care she needed and called the next day to check on her. They said they would call again to recheck. She is still sick but hopefully will get better with the meds.

Recently switched to MNVH after our dog needed surgery and wasn’t able to get in with our usual vet. Ended up transferring here entirely because we had such a great experience. The entire staff was wonderful from the front desk, to the techs to Dr. Pelensky. Our dog is a little hard to handle but they managed him with ease. Would recommend to anyone looking for veterinary care in the area!

Today was our first visit Dr Abby is absolutely amazing. My dog is a very nervous dog and she was very gentle and let him come to her. She by far is the best vet I have ever dealt with and I will never take my basset hound Bentley anywhere but this facility, the whole staff is pleasant and very compassionate they truly care about your pet and they don’t try to push unnecessary expenses on you, they are very forthcoming.

I always have a great experience taking my pets here when they dont feel good. Staff is very helpful and take excellent care of my babies. I will be using them for all my pets. Vets in my area didn't have any appointments for a month. Mt Nittany got my sick pup in the next day.

I like that I can get appointments around my work schedule. They are efficient and informative. Prices for possible treatment is always discussed so you can plan according to your budget. I always have a good feeling when interacting with their staff.

Appointment was at 10am. Seemed to be many employees standing around. I was the only “patient” in the lobby. I guess all the rooms were full. I was not put in an exam room until 10:20. Vet was very knowledgeable and kind to me and my pet. My only complaint is that I had to wait. Glad I had a morning appointment because it probably got worse as the day progressed.

As a first time client I had one of the best vet experiences. My dog had a serious medical issue and Dr. Kinly was not only professional but also very kind and compassionate.Unfortunately, my dog was not well enough to make it through surgery and needed to be euthanized. The staff was very helpful and considerate during that process as well.i would give them six star if that was possible.

Always available, always friendly, always a positive experience. I’ve had many great experiences at Mt. Nittany. Just this week, I booked an appointment online on Monday night for Tuesday morning for a possible infection on my dog’s foot. I was in and out in maybe half an hour with no upcharge for the last-minute appointment and very reasonable in-house prescription costs.

My experience with Mt. Nittany Vet hospital has been a very positive one. As a brand new pet owner at 37 years old, it can be very daunting. Mt. Nittany vet hospital has been very helpful and put me at ease once I had her first vet visit. My cat just got dental surgery and the info they provided was very concise and thorough. They also checked in on her the next day. I was very nervous about this surgery but they’ve put me at ease. I’m so grateful!! Thank you for taking care of my baby!

Dr. Sath provided good care to the 10-year-old cat that I inherited from my parents. The technician, Valerie, also was very sympathetic and provided first aid to my right hand after the cat scratched and bit me trying to get her into the carrier. I am grateful for their compassion for the cat and for me. They definitely are professional.

We took our cat here to get her established since we’re new to State College. Everything went well from the time of booking the appointment to when we left.We went in thinking we were going to get bloodwork done but were told it’s not necessary at the moment. We appreciated the forwardness and the fact that no unnecessary things were being pushed.We are very happy and will return whenever needed!

This has been the only vet in my family for 25+ years! From my first dog to my baby kitten, they have seen everyone. Staff are always super helpful and personable, never dismissive of concerns. Cat friendly place, nice quiet waiting area (that has been further developed recently!) and visit rooms.Most importantly for me they also almost always have an appointment available for me within like 3 days- some other places around town give me 3+ month out estimates and with a parvo scare I could not do that- Mt. Nittany was able to get me in the next morning!3 year edit!: Still going here, still 100% trust them with all my cats- especially the problem child. Doctors and techs alike are helpful and caring, and can explain things for people who don’t have a bajillion years experience like they do. (And price-wise; I know everything has gone up and it may be sticker shock to some. The vetmed field is very understaffed right now everywhere, yet I have never felt like I’m being underserved or overcharged here. You pay for what you get, and this clinic is a great service!)

The staff are ALWAYS understanding and accommodating when I call to schedule, which always seems to be after I call VCA Metzger over the weekend. Dr. Keenly and Dr. B are the doctors we’ve seen and they have been so caring. These individuals LOVE our animals as much as we do and present all options for treatment. I am great full that they start with the least invasive option first too. They are all great humans!!!

We always have a great experience with Mount Nittany Vet. We have been bringing our cats and dog to the clinic for 8 years. Everyone is always very pleasant and accommodating. Our cats and dog are always roomed quickly to ensure their comfort. Highly recommend the clinic.

They were able to get me a quick appointment while temporarily in the State College area. The staff were friendly and the Vet was knowledgeable and obviously has a way with making animals feel safe. Very reasonable cost. I highly recommend them. .

Technicians and doctors are attentive and kind. They worked with my nervous dog and helped her feel more comfortable during her wellness visits, for her booster shots, and when she got an eye infection (I took my dog to this office 3 times in the last 2 years). They answered all my questions and they schedule my appointments in a timely matter. I recommend Mt Nittany Vet for your pet's regular care.Update: I’ve continued seeking care for my pup at Mount Nittany Veterinary Hospital and continue to have wonderful experiences.

This vet office took great care of my cat. They did many things to make both of us feel comfortable (offering a blanket with calming pheromones to my cat and allowing us to go into the exam room early). The vet techs were kind and knowledgable. The vet herself was extremely kind and helpful. I really appreciate that they offer evening appointments. Great vet office!

Dr. Belmont was wonderful with my dog Sammie! (And she made sure I understood what to do with the medication for her ear infection.) She was personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vet.
