There is little to no internet at times available within the store, and the same holds true for using data. If you use the app to load savings, there is no way to verify that they all were applied and eligible items were purchased. Take screen shots prior to shopping, I guess.The savings never are all applied correctly. Tonight, I had a manager who didn't know how to correct this after the app finally loaded and all was verified. I asked for the manager to resolve it and they were it.The employees are helpful and friendly. The store is always stocked, clean and organized.

Dollar General3283 W College Ave.State College, PAThis is a very nice store, clean and organized. You don't have to move stocking carts and climb over boxes to navigate the isles. They have nice a product selection and the prices reflect the current economy. The manager is friendly and helpful. This is a brand-new store, so it took a little time to work out the kinks, but it seems to be in order now. The Wifi is working and register problems are straightening out too. I hope this store stays in our area because we need something closer than always running to Walmart.

I agree with the one review on here. It does smell like cat urine. It is currently temporarily closed as of 3/20/23. I am very disappointed because I love this location. I don’t have an issue with many of the prices except the frozen food…. A bit pricey. Very convenient location for me. This store has the potential to be great. I will also agree, there needs to be more employees. Self check out is great, and nice to have, but can we please get more than 1-2 employees? Some people don’t have credit cards and only carry cash. Would be nice to be able to pay with cash.

I have been in the store a couple of times, the last being mid February. At that time I noticed no offensive odor. The prices, on my purchases anyway, seemed in line with what I pay other places. I thought they had a nice selection.I do agree with others that there should be a person to check you out. The whole self check out thing at stores is getting ridiculous.. I have absolutely no doubt the business/ $ they will loose by people who aren't comfortable with self check out not going there will be as much or more as just hiring a cashier.

Expensive and the workers staring at you the whole time is very uncomfortable. It also smells like cat urine every time I’m in here? Two stars for convenience of not having to go to Walmart for little things.

AWFUL, UNACCEPTABLE customer service! The 2 employees there were conversating 4 aisles away, and the content of their conversation was not professional at all. I was looking in an isle where the girl was stalking. She walked right in front of me multiple times without acknowledging me or saying "excuse me". It's very sad that this store has a horrible rap already.

This store is WAY too expensive, I would shop there more often if it was cheaper, prices were over the roof
