We had a graduation party in early June and we ordered a lot of different things. The office staff were amazing as I called or stopped by multiple times to tweak my order. They were helpful in explaining different items and helped me decide what would best suit my needs. On the day of delivery (a very busy day for them I am sure) we were probably the last or almost last….the delivery staff (and there were a bunch of them) were all so, so friendly. I’m sure they were tired and hot and ready to be done for the day but they treated me with such respect and were just the nicest people. They helped me decide the best placement for my tents and got everything up and ready in no time at all! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!You ALL made this experience great, can’t wait to do it again!

Owner Suzy and her staff have taken care of every detail. They have been in this business for a long time and they don’t miss a thing. I met to rent for an event and they knew the venue, my caterer, and my DJ. They predicted potential problems, prepared for small errors and changes in my order and already had solutions before problems occurred. Event planning is full of changes at the last minute. It seemed like BE knew how to adjust for these changes without anyone noticing. They are event pros.The selection of rental items is large and what they dont have they can get. Much of the stuff is in the showroom so you can see it in person when you order.

Best Event has always been great, with the most variety and quality linens as well as anything else you could need for your event, we host weddings at our home/farm and our clients have always been happy with their service. I would give them 10 stars if I could for their customer service when my mother-in-law passed away suddenly and we were planning a ceremony of life in less than 3 day. Megan and Suzie were quick, compassionate and went through their inventory to find me the most exquisite linens and overlays to match our theme for the last party we would get to throw for my mother-in-law. They thought for me when I couldn’t and made things so easy, they are a joy to work with and a gem to our community.

Very rude staff and didn't give us what we ordered. Two days before our wedding we went to pick up the plastic tables and chairs we ordered. We got there and they gave us junked up wooden tables and we said that wasn't what we ordered. They said "it's tailgate season and we can just return them and give you a refund then if you don't want them." We reserved the plastic tables way before "tailgate" season. We also didn't need an attitude 3 days before our wedding because they gave all our tables away. Will never rent from here again. Lose the attitude too because you were in the wrong.

Where do I even begin with Best Event Rental? The customer service is outstanding, the staff is beyond friendly, and the rentals they provide for their customers are the best. I cannot thank Best Event for being so helpful when it came to helping my friends and family plan and execute my bridal shower along with helping me pick out every little detail for my wedding. I hired Best Event for my daughters wedding on September 30, 2017. I rented chairs for the ceremony, linen and napkins for the tables. I had called several times to make adjustments to my order and the staff was always accommodating and polite. We had an outdoor ceremony and was unsure about the weather and they gave me additional time to decided on a canopy which was nice of them. The drivers brought the rental stuff the day before the ceremony and they were also polite . We had a little mishap with some linens being marked wrong and they did not fit a few tables. I call the day of the wedding and they had new linen ready and delivered it to the venue and even put on the tables. Thank you very much Event Rental for making my daughters day special!

I have had a very traumatic experience here. The rentals were dirty and ineffective. I believe when you throw a ball at the bullseye on the dunk tank, the person in the seat is supposed to fall into the water right? We might as well have hired a person to sit next to the dunk tank and pull the lever every time the ball hit the bullseye. Also got charged a ridiculous amount for bringing items back a day late. Great place to waste money and time. There are many other safer options in State College. Good luck with your next Party!

I use their services for many events because they are really the only option in town. Numerous times they have forgot to include something I ordered and then told me that I have to come pick it up. The customer service is very poor. I just got off the phone with them and at the end of our conversation I said "ok thank you" and the sales rep just hung up. They are very particular where you park to pick up or drop of, which I can understand, but there are no signs and it is unclear what they want you to do. Once there were two employees doing something on the dock when I pulled in. They both stopped what they were doing, watched me pull in , get out of my car and walk up to them until they mentioned that I needed to park in the spot next to the one I had just pulled into. I said ok and pulled into the next spot to wait 5 minutes for them to climb down and pick up one piece of equipment. I mean had they just used their words I could have handed it to them and drove off. Poor management and rude people but the quality, if everything you ordered is there, is usually clean and well cared for.

I have been to Best Event to rent items for several small events at my home and was always treated as if I were a friend of the family. So when I needed help with arrangements for a larger event I felt I could trust them to deliver and I wasn't disappointed.My sister passed away from Leukemia and I let her fiancé choose the venue for her memorial service: a park her daughters spent time at when they were younger.The owner and staff couldn't have been more helpful. They secured the permits; setup tents, tables, chairs, a podium, audio-visual equipment, table cloths and chaffing dishes... everything we needed to turn the park into an outdoor social hall; then they came in afterward and cleaned up.All this was at a time when we couldn't even think and they knew exactly what we needed and just took care of everything.I would enthusiastically recommend Best Event

Good luck trying to get ahold of them. I've been trying once a day. The automated system picks up, runs through info and then tells me I can't be transfered and hangs up on me. Time to look for another rental place.
